I rarely get the flu, but in 2014, a few months after my husband died, I had 2 strains of flu back-to-back with a cold in between. I was down for a couple of months. This shows how stress can wreck our immune system.

It has a purpose...it is the icon for a series that aired in the UK and NZ/OZ in 1967..THE PRISONER..about an ex-intel/secret agent of England who resigned without a 'good' reason..as far as big brother was concerned. They gasses him and he ended up on an Island for those of his type....he also had no name but a number....it reminds me of what we are about to enter into..a brave new world...no names, ever watched, ever drugged, no social interaction that is not approved, and hardly any hope of escape...kind of Orwellian...The character #6 resigned because he was sick of it all and the spying etc...he just wanted to go on vacation....

True. Even in the Soviet Union of California in 1918 they took the Governor to court over his stupid idea of a mask mandate and the Governor lost.

I get the tiny Zinc capsules on Amazon. Can't remember when I had a cold of flu last! I used to juice for health. It was such a hassle I stopped. Then I discovered that I can get nearly anything I want in capsules on Amazon. SOOOO much easier!

I watch the news, and quit watching television shows years ago, but "THE PRISONER" is one which I would watch even though I've seen every episode at least once. -- And it's almost as though I'm watching re-runs in our crazy politics today with Trump as that victim.

Yes, that is why I decided to choose this avatar....Trump is better indeed..I still have not figured him out yet....he seems to still be playing a game of compromise with his voter base..some are getting impatient....If he gets re-elected I hope he will clear a few important areas for me and others...if not I will..I don't know yet

I'm so old that the only thing we saw were safety glasses. They didn't need to protect our hearing or lungs in those days because we did much worse with Rock --n-roll and smoking dope!

Apparently he signed an Executive Order TODAY which requires that if an infant survives an abortion attempt, medical services MUST BE EMPLOYED to serve the needs of the child. -- Previously they'd allow the child to expire from hypothermia, starvation, or whatever neglect, which is MURDER in the Womb or out of the Womb.

Yeah, I think I see where Trump is going, and applaud his EVERY ACTION, with each applause getting LOUDER!

I personally don't believe the masks do much if the COVID virus can be spread by aerosols. You need a respirator to keep from inhaling those. However, they say it's mostly spread by droplets when one talks, sneezes or coughs. And in that respect, the mask is to protect the next person, not you who is wearing it. I know people have a high fear of disease (including my wife) so out of consideration I wear them in public places, especially since it's "their store" and not mine... so I have to abide by the rules since I'm a guest. But there is some politics, no doubt to this as well. Now Dr. Fauci was saying that one can get the disease through the eyes and even recommended goggles. So I can see the mask covering the face, akin to covering your mouth when you cough by your elbow. But the eyes? How can someone get my virus by my tears?? I'm surprised someone supposedly so knowledgeable would say something that laughable and downright stupid.

I don't like the "behind the ears" masks, so I'm the outlaw and wear bandanas. I always had a love affair with them and they can be used for headbands while working, a face scarf for those crisp, cold days, and some women even wear them as an accessory. So, I had 5 already and bought 10 more knowing they can be used for different things long after the COVID is gone. Plus they can be slipped up and down in an instant... when down they make a decorative neck scarf whether one is a man or woman. And since in public nobody sees my face, for the small freedom I "lost" tying one onto my face, I gained a lot more in that I don't shave but twice a week now. LOL All this for wearing them in a store or crowded place only -- they come down as soon as I'm out. Being an Introvert who does not communicate much with people outside or gather in groups, my (boring) life has actually changed very little. I'm a loner by nature.

There were (and are) a lot of good doctors who are opposed to this SCAMDEMIC. But once again, no one had actually mobilized the medical profession to vigorously oppose any more lockdowns and restrictions on the general populace. Mask-muzzles have become the symbol of subjugation to COVID tyrants.

One has to wonder as to what has happened so that anarchists are having their way in every city, while law-abiding citizens are failing to stand up for their livelihoods and freedoms, and politicians continue to dither.

A Tale of Two (Kinds of) Citizens would be a good title to this drama being played out.... On one hand, the anarchists are praised for bucking the system even to the point of violence against others, even murder. On the other hand, law-abiding citizens are treated as murderers for failing to comply with the the latest set of COVID rules.

I walked into Sam's Club last week without a mask on because I was looking for my membership card to show at the door when I noticed a SECURITY GUARD manning that post. By the time I noticed her, she was practically glaring at me for being mask-less. I had the feeling that she was getting ready to do something to me I wouldn't like, but I quickly put a mask on. I've noticed that Walmart Corporation (who owns Sam's Club) is squarely behind the most extreme measures being perpetrated on us. This makes me wonder how such corporations will be used by the anti-christ.... We will see.
