This is true.... and to be honest, human sacrifices do also take place on and around halloween. Child abductions begin increasing about this time of year.... as well, cult breeders are used to produce babies that are used in sacrifice. I have a very dear friend who the Lord allowed me to minister to. She approached me asking about "the God I serve." She said she could sense that I had a "different Spirit" about me. She would come to me and say, "Tell me more about Him..." So I'd share about Jesus in chunks she was able to take in. She eventually came to the Lord and she is so dear to my heart. Anyway... every year, she was impregnated so that her babies would be used in sacrifice. She would usually have twins or more. But this is a common thing in SRA (satanic ritual abuse) families.

She was not given a birth certificate when she was born and doesn't know her true birthdate. :( Her main purpose for them was to have babies. Although I had a very similar history to her, I was not raised as a breeder for the cult. I did have babies taken ... but not on a continual basis. My "purpose" for them was different.

Just a quick notice. Anybody who tells me not to celebrate Halloween anymore is automatically going on ignore. I'm sick and tired of all of this. *Yawn*

I hate to tell you this, April_Rose, but if you continue trying to dominate this forum with your threads while telling a large percentage of this community who welcomed you to it that you are putting them all "on ignore" and are "sick of all this," you will be looking for a new community soon, because you will no longer be a member of this one.

Number one I wasn't planning on putting you on ignore because I actually liked you,.. and second of all who put you in charge? It doesn't say that announcing putting people on ignore is against the rules here and I've actually really haven't done anything against the rules or raised my temper at anyone. I'm just sick of people telling me what to do that's all. I have a right to put people on ignore if I wish.

I've just asked people to please stop it and that you can feel free to keep your opinions but please don't tell me what to do. If they think that I'm going to get banned for that then they're coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs no offense.

We're definitely all at different stages in our Christianity. I used to try and convince people of my beliefs. I knew I was right and wanted them to be saved. Never realizing that I'm not their judge to say if they are saved or not. I was the one in need of being saved. But I was convinced I was holier than them.

And I find what works for one person does not work for everyone. What hurts one person may not hurt another emotionally. There are vast types of churches and none better than the other in my opinion (for the most part, I'm not talking about cults here). Everyone picks a church that works for them. And we need different avenues to reach Christ's destination. Because we all come from different backgrounds.

And that is why we have moderators, to guide us, because sometimes we forget that we are all different people, but hopefully all headed in the direction of Jesus.

Yeah,.. and @Hidden In Him isn't a moderator so they don't have a right to tell me that I'll be banned. Especially since I haven't done anything against the rules.

I'm simply telling you what is going to happen. When you enter a Christian community, it is wise not to assume you own the place, begin posting thread after thread after thread, start facing backlash for it, and yet still insist on pushing it in everyone's face night and day, expecting to be well received.

What you also seem oblivious to is that this is a forum primarily made up people twice your age, who tend far more towards discussing serious theological questions, not having their forum bombarded with discussion about movies and pagan customs, whether they may be "fun" or not. As you have seen, I don't mind discussing it a little, but you honestly think everyone wants to hear about nothing but frivolities 24 hours a day here? You are picking the wrong forum for it, and that is because you are not paying much attention.
Exactly how rude

History, you have actually been rude to me a couple of times on threads and I completely overlooked it. You are now making it a habit. And since you insist on having a discussion with me, I'm going to be frank with you: Your spiritual maturity went down about 20+ years when April_Rose joined this forum, and it seems to be continuing to decline daily. I realize you two are friends, and there's certainly no harm in that, but what I told her about needing to show a little more consideration for others here applies to you as well. Quit with the whining about "everybody hates" me and start treating others with more respect, and maybe you won't end up so paranoid about such things, because I've never retaliated against you despite some of the rather hostile remarks you've made to me. If we have to lose both of you it would be a shame, but I know how this community works. It is not going to be overrun by you, or her, or anyone else. It is no one's private property, no matter how much they may assume they've got the right of way to simply take over.

God bless, and hopefully things work out. But if not, I think you will eventually find you had only yourself to blame.

The moderators are pretty good on this site. This forum is much more relaxing than some others I've been on. Sorry you're having a bad experience from that thread. I prescribe to the idea that if someone I see is in error, I supply the information and let them choose for themselves. But that doesn't sound like what you're experiencing. :(

You all first. Stop being so toxic to Traditional Christians that you have been as @Michie and @Seven of Nine can attest. You all did this now you all reap what you sow.

Ah well,.. just added another person to my ignore list. If I can't see their messages they can't bother me and surprisingly I've still remained calm even though I really want to cuss right now but I know that that's against the rules. Thank you though as you seem to be one of the good ones. :)

Wow! thanks amadeus for this one for sure could not have put it better, and l guess at a certain time l really pushed some christians to do things that seemed very okay even for a christian according to me forgetting some people are not really that strong and could easily slowly be pulled away or spiritually get drained because of say watching some content, reading certain books, or listening to certain music, etc, you may completely see no harm in certain things but the prob is you don't know how strongly rooted is the other person in Christ Jesus and would you want to be the person that contributed to their fall from the truth? Can't wait to learn more from others commenting on this 'cause many times l found myself defending things and deep down l did not know whether they were fine but because am a christian and l was doing them l had to make them look fine to other christian too at least for them not to have that judgy looks at me and l gotta be honest l have my niece, she is currently doing ungodly things and l find it so hard to give her any advice because she literally used to ask me first back then and l would approve things that now l know are wrong but it feels l have no moral authority to tell her, hey Cathy that's wrong because it was me in the first place who told her it's completely ok when she had just got saved and it one thing that pains me a lot that l lead her to that way of life, and l was already a christian back then
That's tough. The only way to regain your respect I think it's too simply lay everything out for her and tell her the truth. You were wrong. You were young and inexperienced and just like your niece is now, growing and learning. And you have since learned of the dangers and pitfalls that in younger years you did not recognise. This approach would totally remove your own sense of unworthiness to advise your niece and any possible charges of hypocrisy in return.
God bless.

This all reminds me of the story of the first fall in Eden. When did Eve sin? Was it when she first wandered away from Adam?
Was it when she stood under the tree gazing at it's beautiful fruit?
Was it when she started talking to the serpent,?
When she accepted the fruit in her hand?
Or when she ate?
Would she have been better off... Would the entire planet have been better off... If Eve had simply stayed away from the tree of knowledge of good and evil altogether?

We need to experience evil in order to reject it? In other words, partaking of the fruit of knowledge was necessary? No. Both Adam and Eve should have humbly accepted God's word and authority on the matter from the beginning. Which I believe all young Christians need to learn to do. It's a part of growing up.

Okay you're going back on ignore as you had your chance to drop it.

I am a wee bit confused.o_O

You put up a thread about halloween...then get annoyed when people like @amadeus posts in it and "doesn't drop it".

If you really wanted the subject dropped , why did you start a new thread? Here lays my confusion!!

I hate Halloween. Coming from the south of England where I was born, and living in a witchcraft area which went back to dot...but the ancient spirits were still very active...I found nothing cute , funny, clever , or fun on Halloween. Crying out loud.
Yes, as a christian you would do well to just drop the subject here on a christian forum and not dig it up and expect others of us the approve or even understand.

The next day after Halloween , the papers were full of anything from overturned grave stones , desecrations, bodies dug up, satanic signs and sacrificed animals soaked in blood in grave yards...gutted cows and horses in the fields...and on and on...
Oh yes, a whole lot of fun was being had by someone, the night before...but not my kind of 'fun'.
We , and not only christians , hated halloween...and kept our kids safe home. That was back in the 60's and 70's.
I know these days over there , they have bought into the American commercial halloween , of loads of candy and dressing up like clowns and prancing around the streets door knocking.

Nah..." as for me and my house..." ✟

Don't worry you weren't nasty about it just stating your opinions so you're not going on my ignore list,.. but since quite a few people have been added the purpose of not judging stated on my OP has apparently gone out the window. :/

About judging.
We are not to judge those outside the church. Why? Because we were once like them... And Jesus did not judge is but contrariwise saved is by His grace and made us new people.
However, we are to judge the church. Judgement begins in the house of God and God has appointed teachers, prophets, and shepherds to guide the members into truth and righteousness.
Cry aloud. Spare not. Show My people their transgressions, and the house of Jacob her sins. (Isaiah 58)
But of course any rebuke and teaching must be done in love with patience. Judging does not mean condemnation. There is no condemnation in Christ. But there is counsel. There is discipline. There is censoring. There is correction. We as Christians are called to be different from the unbelievers. We are new creatures in Christ. With new tastes and new habits and new hopes, dreams, and goals for ourselves and others. And at times this entails sacrificing those things that in our former lives we held dear. The Christian Life can be costly. In fact, it must be.

Well,.. you're not coming off as pushy or offensive so I'm not ignoring you either,.. but does it honestly look like we're really going to change our minds at this point? It's sort of pointless of arguing or trying to persuade when our minds have already been made up.

Yes there are a lot of ritualistic sacrifices of animals and even humans on that night.
