We say that "If I knew then what I know now..."

So let's play that with last year at this time.

If you somehow knew what was going to happen this year during October of last year...

What would you have done?
Stock up on toilet paper?
Hand sanitizer?
Masks?
Got ready to dump stocks and buy others?

What exactly would you have done?

It would have appeared strange had I put in for bereavement time off and made funeral arrangements a month in advance.

My ignorance proved helpful in a health scare, for my own edification. Had I known in advance a lesson would have been lost on me.

I am in agreement with @Triumph1300
I have gotten so used to Him being my sole provider that, I have zero worries. Even if they take my house, my food, my raiment. For I KNOW He takes very good care of us. Not to mention: Matthew 6:34
34" Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

I wish I had kissed my baby's feet more .... he wasn't a baby, but every evening, I kissed the side of his forehead when I hugged and told him goodnight. Now, he's gone Home (at age 17) and I miss him so so much.... I wish I had kissed his feet more .... I know that sounds weird, but this mama loves her babies .... mamas are like that, I guess ....

I’m sorry.

It doesn’t sound weird at all.

Thank you so much.... had myself a good cry after I posted that... wasn't the first one today. But with every tear, God is healing....

I wish everyone had a son like he was/is to me... his faith so strong, and a servant's heart .... and he gave the best and strongest hugs. He'd walk his nearly 6ft tall self into the room with the sweetest smile... hold his arms out, snapping his fingers to say, "Come here..." ... an invitation to the best hugs in the world this side of eternity. :)

I’m not good at what to say. There are no words. Only your testimony and your sons touched me, and reminds me to kiss little feet and hug often. as a mother it would be the most excruciating think I can think of. Again, I’m sorry you’ve had to experience it and pray you have tremendous support surrounding you.

Your words are perfect... thank you. :) I have 4 children still here... he was the youngest. I have my husband and some very dear friends.... even my chiropractor, who was with us (house call) for 3 hours the night before he went Home. Most of my support people aren't close by... but I can message or call them when I need to talk.

But the thing that touches my heart the most, as a mom ... is to know that my son's testimony has touched you and others. To know that because of his story, you are moved to hug and kiss your babies more. I'm sure you do anyway.... but maybe you can remember that dishes can wait, or laundry... or whatever it is .... hold that baby, look into their eyes and have some heart to hearts, often .... no matter how young or old they are. It will mean so much to you both. <3 <3

Btw... his name is Matthew Jordan. His name means... "gift of God sent from above." :)

That’s quite difficult to consider, wonder if I would have believed it. In all honesty it would have seemed pretty impossible to consider something affecting the whole world and bringing societies to a stand still. Would it have brought about a fear, uncertainty , panic within me. This time last year we were facing my ex husbands cancer diagnosis- which eventually took him in December.
You say hypothetically, yet we have prophecy with revelation about the future - how does that impact us in the here and now. Are we preparing in advance, or merely living in the moment?
How are Christians doing things today when we are already told things will get worse- I place my Hope in the truth that the Lord is still in control , he is not taken surprise by anything and ultimately wins.

My husband and I would have doe what we did when it hit!

Look and at each other and say..."Praise the Lord it is almost time."

Being conspiracy theorists since the 60's....we have never believed much in accidents or happenstance etc...
Especially when such as Bill Gates announced long ago that "There will be a global pandemic..."
Of course he could say that...he knew it was planned. Control, control, control.
But praise God ...we are Kingdom people and we are free! ( However many controls they force upon us. )

So, as said...we look up, because our salvation is nearer than it was now!! :)

If I knew of the things a year ago for today, I would not just have shrugged it off and nonchalantly said well I'm not doing anything different; I'm just going to rely on the Lord, as always. He has never let me down. Are we then really relying on the Lord, or ourselves? Maybe there is a reason you or me have suddenly gained this supernatural knowledge of the future.

To all in general then, we have just been given a miraculous insight into the future for a PURPOSE and we are not going to then ask or pray to the Lord what all this earth-shattering experience is all about, and why it came to you or me? Now how many times do we get visions like this in our life? It's monumental!

If I knew of the things today a year ago I would have gotten on my knees and thanked the Lord for giving me this insight. As a believer it has to be of the Lord and no one else. I have relied on my Saviour and he has just informed me of future events. It is a time of pray and asking for further communication from him.

It could have been a vision, maybe a series of them, with most probably instructions. If not, I would then ask for further information of the Lord. What am I supposed to do, I would ask? To prepare, to not change any aspect of my life for now, to relocate..etc? I'm relying on the will of the Father and not my own so-called 'free-will' at this miraculous point in my life. And then these instructions could come over in the next weeks by various methods: angelic messages to my ears, thoughts implanted in my head, through other people around us.....etc...

For some it could be to prepare one's household in all aspects - mental, spiritual and physical. To some others, to be actively involved with other believers and warn of bad times,,and then later the good times.. We all have a role to play, even if it just to stay the course and weather the storm.

We surely want to rely on the Lord, as always.

Hey APAK,

I think that "guidance" has already been provided:

Lke 22:35 And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” 36 He said to them, “But now, let him who has a purse take it, and likewise a bag. And let him who has no sword sell his mantle and buy one.

... and as far as the timing:

Try reading the Psalms using the premise provided by J.R. Church in his book "Hidden Prophecies In The Psalms". And bear in mind:
  • What is the SHORTEST Chapter in All Scripture
  • What is the MIDDLE Chapter in All Scripture
  • What Chapter is exactly SEVENTY YEARS after the International Recognition of the State of Israel
  • What Chapter coincides with the U.S. Recognition of Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel
  • What Chapter is the LONGEST Chapter in all Scripture
Per the above it appears something IMPORTANT is established in 2018, -- like crossing the threshold into the 42 month Tribulation --, and as such we should expect to see things begin to accelerate to when we won't be able to buy or sell in some 7 to 9 months, and global thermonuclear war in some 13 months.

So are you using your PURSE to fill your BAG, -- and if not, what are you waiting for?!?

With Best Regards,
Bobby Jo

As I said before, I have already complied with Luke a long time ago..and improve on it since March.....and I believe I was lead to it for these times, and not just by knowing it from scripture and using my own free-will.

As I said before ...

Oh yeah, we already had that discussion! DOH!

But it is important to anticipate. When I accepted a job at Texas Instruments I ALREADY KNEW that their "turnover rate" was about 50% per year, -- they hire straight out of college because they WORK REAL HARD until they get frustrated and LEAVE. And so I traded a good Resume' company and a good experience, knowing I'd only be there a couple of years.

And so too Bible Prophecy predicts tough times in the near future, with a glorious change after that!

With Best Regards,
Bobby Jo
