My username refers to knowing the Lord, His Word, and His will for my life. Physical hunger is now secondary, however it is sometimes easier to satisfy. My family and I have been going through a major trial for a couple of years. I have tried to turn it over to the Lord whenever something happens and have been relatively successful. My family tend more to the instant gratification world and less toward the spiritual hope we rest upon. It puts me in a tight spot at times. Due to time and familiarity with the symptoms of the trial, they have gotten used to it for the most part. I've seen God's work in this trial, and I know He has a lot more to do to bring me to where I need to be. I unfortunately am getting impatient with things and need to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Any support, guidance, and of course prayers will be most welcome. Don't take offense if I don't get back to the Forum quickly. I recently retired and have more to do than when I was working.

Welcome, I will be praying for your family and you....Thanks for you testimoney,,,All you need is in the word you are craving. If you are an early riser there is a guy on Fox or 219 on Dish tv . His name is Arnold Murray and is a linguest form arkanas... There is some bad stuff about him on the net, don't belive it. He teaches line by line and helps you check him out with the Stongs concordance and other great stuff. try it... Again welcome

Welcome aboard, nice choice in name and this is one time it's good to be hungry for sure! Psalm 107:8-9Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

Hi betchevy and SwampFox (Francis Marion?) I just got done with my work for today and it is 1:07 AM. I'll get caught up and start viewing the posts earlier, and hopefully I can help out occasionally. These trials help to prepare us for future work. If we have been there we help someone else facing a similar situation. James 1:2-4
