I would say its simply the nature of translation

Languages are different and use different alphabets... i really dont think there is anything more to it then that.
Well you would be wrong, a lot more to it than that

the only bible translation I recommend is the translator himelf, the Holy Spirit, the only true and Living translation of his Holy Word.

get him first, and then he will guide you in all truth. and he knows thich translation of any verse is correct or false. let him be your guide/translation.

I have a number of different translations, plus a Greek Interlinear, along with a number of reliable commentaries. This give a good range of understanding when considering a passage of Scripture. The danger is exclusively using one translation and deriving personal interpretation while ignoring the contribution of godly, prayerful men through the centuries who have sought the Lord for understanding.

It would be arrogance of me to say that I am right about a passage of Scripture and everyone else is wrong; and it would almost be a misrepresentation of the Holy Spirit to say that the Holy Spirit gives me exclusive information that He does not share with the rest of the body of Christ.

No one person has special and exclusive access to the Holy Spirit apart from the rest of the body of Christ. It is a matter of "name dropping" to bolster a level of authority that one does not have, and when a person "name drops" the Holy Spirit to support their own view, the Lord is very likely to come along and say, "Who told you to use the name of the Holy Spirit in vain?"

well I'm going to use the NAME of the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 2:12 "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God."
1 Corinthians 2:13 "Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual."
1 Corinthians 2:14 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

and YES, with all caps... :D .... I will used the name of the Holy Spirit who teach me. and to stand in that name, just prove me wrong.... (smile).
it's just that simple. until then, I will mangify the NAME of he who teach me, the Lord Jsus the Holy Spirit.

and as for,
No one person has special and exclusive access to the Holy Spirit apart from the rest of the body of Christ.
ye have not because ye ask not......... and when one ask, ask in Faith, not wavering.
James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."
James 1:6 "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed."
James 1:7 "For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord." Ooop.....
James 1:8 "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."

James 4:3 "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts."

as I say in my footer, "where there is knowledge, stay not ignorant"

Notice that in terms of wisdom, God gives to ALL men liberally, not just a select few who think they are born again better than everyone else.

Who cares about “which translation” ...it is the Spirit of God that opens our spiritual eyes, He alone saves ...not some bible translation.

People ‘get saved ‘ by hearing a testimony about the love and glory of God.

NO bible can or does send anyone to Hell! That’s rubbish.
BINGO!!!!
The Bible is written in every language on earth and some languages don't have words that translate the original language into their language so they have to use something as close to the meaning as possible.

I don't know about you, but I am always asking for wisdom from the Lord, and He directs me right back to the Bible!
... and ....
those of us who trust HIM, to whom HE delights to REVEAL SALVATION ...
if we happen upon any at all corrupt along our way ,
does HE then REVEAL SOMETHING FALSE !?

HE IS TRUSTWORTHY and TOTALLY FAITHFUL AND TRUE !

Amen, AND, what is the exception God Says in James (the Scripture you referenced apparently)...
the exception that excludes some ... some who should not expect anything from God at all.

(and God Still sends the rain and the sunshine upon them, so extravagantly graciously and mercifully)

The OP gave his or her personal opinion about the Bibles that he or she trusts.. one of them is what the kjvo says is corrupt.. so that discredits their own words that stated "corrupt Bibles are sending people to hell".. obviously personal opinions can rule over what the kjvo people say in setting up one Bible as having authority over all others.

The main Bible version that I use is the NAS. I've read the King James enough to see that it still uses outdated English that can hinder understanding of what God intended to be clear.

It's not so much a corrupt Bible that is sending people to hell, but corrupt churches like Hillsong and Bethel teaching false doctrine, and using hypnotic enchantment in their music, and in the case of Bethel, using Gandalf's black magic ritual to use the "authority" of an Apostolic decree, which is a misnomer because none of Bethel's leadership are Apostles and therefore don't have Apostolic authority. The occult has taken over so much of Hillsong and Bethel churches through their music and black magic rituals that normal congregation members not familiar with the truth of the Bible are being deceived and put on the road to hell.

You bet! It is from some uninformed crackpot that makes the King James an idol!
I have a mate that truly idolises the KJV. he is nuts in his assessment of such, just childish dribble he has been indoctrinated in, yes it is one of the best I say and I do say that the newer versions are crap.

Be carful of the new KJV tho, you need the OKJV with the words of Jesus in Red. sure I thought the Old English at times hard to read and I bagged it for that but for a serious Bible studying reader that's a fine Bible that will give one true understanding, but you need more than just the Bible to comprehend it, one would do well to understand about Hebrew and real Latin and have a handle on Greek, so as to understand the English translations are coming from better, as English is a crappy language based on much like nick names words that can change and do not describe that well and the bastard of it is that it can change meaning over time even from 180 degree of what once was a meaning and we see that rubbish nowadays a lot with total moronic rad idiots saying just dribbling trendy rubbish claiming to be cool. then I find we also have a majority of people who claim that if I mention real true Latin they pull stupid face claiming, it's a dead language ? I say really moron, are you that uneducated that you do not under stand the context of what is meant by Dead ? I means that it does not change and that it describes everything there is, no nick names at all to anything and that's why Doctors have to know Latin, for if they did not know such you would be dealing with a quack. Chemist has to understand Latin, outside of that one would be hopeless moron not worthy to be in charge of such as their would be mistakes made like you would not believe.

One real good Bible is the old Catholic Bibles they have a lot of information in them, but the newer versions of Catholic Bibles are totally shocking, no doubt because the RCC has been bastardised.
I was informing my aunty about the shock I got when looking for a new RC Bible, now she goes to Church everyday full on and she had no regard as to such, I was like really ! now that's ignorance.

HI,

Just making it known tho you probably know but 4 tho's who don't know there's corrupt bibles
out there written from corrupt manuscripts purposely to obstruct us from receiving the real word of God. Many souls are on their way 2 hell because of lie's and false teachings!!

Here's a list of a few corrupted bibles, its not an exhaustive list, I'm sure there's more out there: NIV, ASV, NWT, RSV, QJV, Bibles I trust: KJV, ESV and NKJV partly coz there are some question marks about the NKJV.
If I was reading an original manuscript, I'd still need the Lord's help with understanding it. But since all translations are "corrupt" and another's interpretation seems to lead many into error, it's worth the effort to me to seek the Lord about it.
I use Bible Gateway and Bible Hub as I like to use many translations. Peace.
