@Cristo Rei It's going to be hard for Brisbane now. Abblett sure must be desperate to win a premiership in his last year. If Geelong win I hope they go on to beat the Tigers.

This page paints a very clear picture. My wife and I do vote but are not heavily invested in the outcomes which are always tuned to secular positioning and control. We have had decades of Marxism under Labour governments and socialism is widely worshipped.

With 64 seats of the 120, Labour can govern without being in coalition which means the system has gone full circle since First Past The Post (FPTP) was ditched in favour of Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) in 1996

On another note ALP is about to win a 6th term in government in the ACT. They seem invulnerable in that Territory.

Live: Labor returned for sixth term in the ACT
A lot of the real working class don't live in the NT as most go home when it gets to hot. not to mention not to many % of the old people live in Darwin, most old retired people who have voted Labour all their lives turn to vote liberal when they retire.
I am to old to live in that heat now, even SE QLD can get to hot for me nowadays, let alone working it.

If we stoped compulsory voting Laws the ALP would loose a lot of votes, because many are to lazy to bother to vote.
In the NT ALP must of been getting out sending people out working hard, so as to getting the abos and such to vote, pre pol I would say how they are doing that, not to mention they could easy tamper with such votes easy as, most abos out in the sticks would not know bugger all what is going on as to vote. nor would they want to vote, that's where the cunning of the socialist come in as they will do anything they can to get a result for the ALP.

Oh I forgot, thanks for reminding me not to go to work on Friday. :D
I'd forgotten to. Until my mate called me up before lunch and said he'd already booked 4 players in for Friday. I told him it would have to only be nine holes because of work. He reminded me of grand final day. Oh yeah. Okay.
Us kiwis aren't so enamored with AFL as the locals. Not a priority in our list of things to consider. But the Bledisloe cup? That's very different. Do you need me to explain what that is,? Lol.

Next weekend is going to be the biggest disgrace in the history of AFL/VFL with the granny at the GABBA...

Rugby!!!

I believe it's the Rugby Union kind am I right? I never had a big enough build to play rugby. :D

I believe Rugby Union is bigger in NZ than Rugby League. Do you also like Rugby League though?

I am more of an AFL and soccer fan though.
