I happen to like the complexity and depth that the op brings out on this subject.

:D

Perhaps the OP is suggesting it is good to .

This reminds me of the Johannine comma. It makes a fine point.

I believe it's what's referred to as a "period piece."

pe·ri·od piece
/ˈpirēəd pēs/

noun
noun: period piece; plural noun: period pieces
  1. an object or work that is set in or strongly reminiscent of an earlier historical period.
"these novels are period pieces with roots in historical romance"

The question is, what was going on in his head in the period before this "historical period"...

My guess is, it was indeed a historical romance. At least that's what it would have been for me.

Yep. I've been praying about it, and I still say this piece revolves around the topic of undying romance.

I have to say, this is the most uplifting and edifying thread I've seen at this forum in years. It's like the Lord knew exactly what I needed to hear.

Amazing how God can use people.

Yes indeed. It is a powerful subject!!

The less we say, the less we have to repent of, or wish that we could ' take back'!!

When we open our mouthes we then show just what fools we really are... :)

Isn't that the truth. The tongue is the hardest part to tame...so, this is all I have to
say about this matter. :D

"But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Matt 12:36-37

Is silence ever golden?

"And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly." Matt 27:14

What are you saying. I didn't nail it?

My gifts of discernment haven't failed me. The OP was obviously talking about smoldering passion.

My only other theory is that it was going to be a GIF thread, but he abandoned the idea because it was too silly.
