The question is, what was going on in his head in the period before this "historical period"...
My guess is, it was indeed a historical romance. At least that's what it would have been for me.

Yep. I've been praying about it, and I still say this piece revolves around the topic of undying romance.
I have to say, this is the most uplifting and edifying thread I've seen at this forum in years. It's like the Lord knew exactly what I needed to hear.

My gifts of discernment haven't failed me. The OP was obviously talking about smoldering passion.
My only other theory is that it was going to be a GIF thread, but he abandoned the idea because it was too silly.
