Believers speak the same/acknowledge/agree with God's perspective about their sins and have a settled recognition and ongoing acknowledgment that one is a sinner in need of cleansing and forgiveness.
The scripture says that God will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile (Romans 2:6-9)
And this judgement will take place in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men
by Jesus Christ according to the gospel (Romans 2:16)
And we must all appear before the
judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he has done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore
the terror of the Lord, the Apostles tried to persuade all men to believe the gospel (2 Corinthians 5:10-11).
Acts 18:4 KJV
[4] And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
He also encouraged believers to
continue in the grace of God.
Acts 13:43 KJV
[43] Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them
to continue in the grace of God.
There is no scripture which tells believers to “
have a settled recognition and ongoing acknowledgment that one is a sinner in need of cleansing and forgiveness”. Those are the words of man.
Psalm 118:8 KJV
[8] It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
