Now the question comes to who was the son of God in Genesis chapter 6.

to me the bible is clear as day as to who they were. answer, humans who was born in the Garden of Adam and Eve before the fall of Adam and Eve into sin. and the bible support this truth.

I remember ages ago,
Thanksgiving.
My dad had this cousin named franny. And every once in awhile she would come over for the holiday.
Now Franny didn't have no teeth, and she was from the country, and we were city folk.
And my two brothers and I sitting at the table...
nom nom smack smack, nom nom
My oldest brother look at us, just barely shake his head in the negative.."don't do it"
Well, we just keep eating dinner, each of us looking at the other.
We didn't dare look at our parents. We knew they knew what we was thinking.
nom nom smack smack nom nom.
And it wasn't funny either, it was GROSS..
Like the sound you make when you bite into a lemon and you trying to suck saliva into your mouth to wash it down
But we kept on eating.
nom nom smack smack nom nom
Wasn't much talking throughout the meal. I don't think anyone wanted to take a chance
of allowing any form of comment that wasn't er appropriate.
Finally the meal was over, we said goodbye to Franny, we helped clear the table, do the dishes, and then went off to watch tv.
Later on when it was quiet, Mom come in and say, How was dinner?
It was real good I liked the the stuffing best.
I liked the gravy..
No the pumpkin pie was my favorite.

My mom looked at us all and said just four words.
You Make Me Proud.

I miss my mom, and both my bros.
They went before me some time ago
to set a place at that thanksgiving table
somewhere down the road.
Franny, well, she's there too
just waiting for us all to get together
maybe the Good Lord will give her some teeth.

When I consistently see some feeding what I know to be error to our lambs, I try to reason with them.
When it becomes obvious to me that they are not interested in things like true repentance and I see the typical religious garb of cessationism, legalism, self-promotion, and KJV-Onlyism, along with the inner voice of the Lord confirming these things, it becomes obvious to me that I am dealing with a wolf.
We are told in scripture that there are those who have a form of godliness but lack the power thereof and that we are told to stay away from them. I believe the reason for this is because the powerless adopt a "politically-correct" portion of the word.
This pleases the carnal nature of others, in which they glory. This in effect inoculates the listener to the power of the Gospel to transform their hearts. The powerless are, in effect, rabbinic Pharisees.
The enemy has 2 goals: 1-stop people from coming to Christ. If that fails, 2-stop believers from becoming true disciples.
The gospel is intended to offend the old nature, which is in opposition to God, so one's pride and self-reliance can be seen in the light of the truth of God's word. If one is never offended by the gospel, then it is very likely that they have been inoculated.
I am accountable to God. He has given me much and therefore much is required of me.
The truth spoken in love is God's ideal. He also says that the wounds of a friend are faithful.
Trust in what the Lord tells you. Rest in His goodness and don't believe that sanctification is a done deal. Take your robes to the river and wash them clean with the Blood Of The Lamb. Shalom.

There are 6 people sitting at the table sharing a Thanksgiving Dinner.
My parents, my cousin, my 2 brothers and myself.
Every one at the table is talking..in their head.
Everybody wants to say something but they are very careful not to be too offensive.
Everyone is trying to be polite. Because we are all sharing the same meal and we have respect
for each other.
Even though she was partaking of the meal in her own way, no matter how obnoxious it was to us, we suffered her. :)
Knowing she was truly thankful and happy for the invitation to participate.
My dear cousin Franny (form of godliness)..
was still part of the family and shared the same name.
And even though her manner of eating was rather uncouth,
We did not remove the plate before her and demand she eat more ... perfectly.
She didn't eat the way we did. She didn't sound the same.
It was rather annoying and dreadful.
Nevertheless, we all enjoyed the meal that mom set before us.
I liked the gravy :)
And at the end of the day, even though each one of has a lot of things we could of said,
we found grace and humility not to make our parents feel awkward by having to explain
why some people don't share in the same table manners as others.
And because we put no on the spot openly, and didn't make Franny feel bad because she ate loud. (understatement of the week)
The reward came from my MOM.
With those 4 little words.

There is a reason why you feel you need to explain your position?
Who are you at the table?

Bon Apetite :)

You missed the whole point. When the angels left their first estate, they were no longer in heaven.

Agree.

sons of God- (Holy) first estate Heaven
Earth Created-
sons of God- had "access" to Earth.
sons of God- IMO "came" to Earth...then SAW Daughters of men- took them as Wives- <--- that established their "unholiness"

Notice WHAT Happened TO THEM...
- Lucifer- Heaven estate- becomes, Unholy....
CAST DOWN- surface of Earth
- His next Punishment will be...
CAST DOWN TO Hell...
- his next punishment will be...
CAST DOWN TO Deepest PIT in Hell.

Always a casting DOWN of angels losing their estate.
- Sons of God who took daughters of men for wives-
No mention of them being CAST DOWN to Earth...rather they are called sons of God (signifying they were Holy and On Earth)...
Then became Unholy...and CAST down to Hell- chained- depicts, no liberty to Leave.

Glory to God,
Taken

...the typical religious garb

I knew a woman, (for Decades +) Who loved to get dressed in her finest clothing, shoes, hat, purse, matching, expensive and drive her shinny car to Church...loved the beautiful ornate "decorations"...loved the high echoing ceilings, stained glass windows ... loved the orderly rituals...loved the impressive garb of the clerics...and the clerics king Like thrones/elaborate chairs...and the singing...She was "so Religious" and loved to talk about those things...oh oh oh and the beautiful sermon entirely in Latin...which she did not understand one word of Latin!

Hi. I am an unworthy servant who lives only to please his King. He has put me in a place to speak the words He tells me to speak.
Shalom.

Look Brother, we need to break this down.
Unworthy.
You were chosen because God saw something in you he didn't see in anyone else.
He believes your worthy.
He sent you here to speak his words and made you ruler over your tongue.
He has trust in you.
Nice says, I love you but be cautious. If you fall in a pit, I got the rope.
Romans 2:3-5 Is an awesome message we need to hear inside our own hearts.
Humbleness is one of those gifts that don't come easy. You have to dig for it.

Come now, Let's eat,
there's plenty to go round

Waked from coming wrath to flee,
Hidden in the Savior’s side,

@Ziggy Glad you like the hymn verse! The writer had probably been reading Ephesians 1 and other similar passages about election and considering the unworthiness of his own heart, also...

Hi. I can see that you are a kind person. We need more like you. However, for such a time as this (a time of war), He has put a Trumpet in my mouth. "Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants in the land tremble; for the day of the Lord is coming, for it is at hand:" Joel 2:1 NKJV "Again, if the trumpet sounds a muffled call, who will prepare for battle?" 1 Corinthians 14:8 Berean Study Bible "My anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain! Oh the walls of my heart! My heart is beating wildly; I cannot keep silent, for I hear the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war." Jeremiah 4:19 ESV

The Word of God is kinda like that stone soup story. You remember the one?
It's been awhile but I remember the moral of the story.
I see if I can find it, it's a good one..
It's not always about what you get from it, but what you put into that counts. :)

Ah A time of war.. I hear that Preacher..
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Something about yelling fire in a movie theatre.. hmm.. I need to think about that.

Do you not know you are among friends and family?
And sometimes you see your brother walking into what appears as danger and you want to warn him,
"Don't walk that way, you will fall" !!

And he hears you, and he says "I know my Brother, but this is the path I have been shown, and for mine and maybe my Sister's
edification I am supposed to walk this way".
"Who understands the leading of the Spirit? , One must walk where one is led" .

"I hear you also Brother, but my concern is strong. I am afraid that you will stumble, and I won't be able to save you! "
"There are lions and tiger and bears, oh my, around every corner you will turn!"
"I know, I've been down some dangerous paths myself, and I just want to spare you. "
"And sometimes you don't appear as my Brother, sometimes you are strange to me."
"Sometime I wonder if you are my Brother at all" .
"And you take my Sister and my little brother and lead them down these paths with you, and I am so afraid,
I need to shout. BEWARE! , I don't recognize this man that is leading you in a different way which I have been told to go" .

"Brother, (little sister says) , Why don't you walk with us then if you are so concerned? You have the trumpet and it's a mighty fine one too.
If we should get in trouble if a lion or tiger or bear, oh my, should come from the thickets to attack us, you could use it still?
"And the only way you will find out if your brother is your Brother, is to come and walk along together and
listen. You may find that you have more in common than not, and that he is not your enemy, or my enemy, because
the path he is on is also Chosen by God."

"Listen Sista, your not hearing what I'm saying. I will speak plainly. I DON'T TRUST HIM!
"If I listen I may be be wooed by his gentle speech and led into a ditch with you all.
and then who will save us? "

"You still have that trumpet don't ya? " "Do you remember the story of Daniel in the Lion's den? "
"And how Daniel, faithful servant that he was got thrown among the Lions.
And that even though they was hungry and would have rend them in pieces,
The Lord stood among them and kept them all safe" ?

" I do."

Psa 112:7
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

Isa 27:13
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Trust is a two way street. One not travelled often.
Time and patience is required, for ones heart to soften.
Do not fear my Brother dear, your not in this war alone
And through the storms and mighty winds, the Lord, he knows his own.

And though we may not look alike or walk on the same road.
We all are given instruments and we all share the load.
Some sing, some dance, some mourn, some sigh.
Some even have the Trumpet, to sound the warning cry.

But trumpets can be used in oh so many ways
and sounds of fear and fight are kept for those battle days.
Come blow your trumpet and make us see
How God, my Brother, has won the victory!

The key-word here is discernment. Love people, yes, but trust God alone. Compared to God, we are to, "hate all others, including ourselves." He alone is good. It is not without cause that God refers to His word as, "a hammer."
Jesus said that in order to follow Him, one must deny self, take up their cross, and follow Him. He also said that unless one takes up their cross and follows Him, they are not worthy of Him. "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." Matthew 16:25 BSB " "There I will give her back her vineyards and will make the valley of Achor a door of hope." Hosea 2:15a NIV

Nephilim.- A hybrid being of Angel-Human DNA who when they died were banished by God to remain on earth as " evil spirits". God created the flood to wipe out this race of beings so Noah repopulated the earth with a bunch of evil spirits running around trying to tempt them to sin every day to keep them from God.

Discernment.. like dividing bone and marrow?
To decipher, to pull apart, to see through..
Bible probably has better descriptions than mine.

Key word discernment:
HAHA this ones funny:
2Sa 19:35
I am this day fourscore years old: and can I discern between good and evil? can thy servant taste what I eat or what I drink? can I hear any more the voice of singing men and singing women? wherefore then should thy servant be yet a burden unto my lord the king?

probably out of context but funny nonetheless haha.
I have to go see:
2Sa 19:31
And Barzillai the Gileadite came down from Rogelim, and went over Jordan with the king, to conduct him over Jordan.
2Sa 19:32
Now Barzillai was a very aged man, even fourscore years old: and he had provided the king of sustenance while he lay at Mahanaim; for he was a very great man.
2Sa 19:33
And the king said unto Barzillai, Come thou over with me, and I will feed thee with me in Jerusalem.
2Sa 19:34
And Barzillai said unto the king, How long have I to live, that I should go up with the king unto Jerusalem?

So here is this guy who has been the king's servant most his life. And he's getting old. And the king wants to bring him back to the kingdom.
He's like... Look, what more do you want from me? I'm old cant ya see that?
HAHAHA...

That's the "tone" I hear anyways :p
sorry..
discernment:
Ah Mercy me..
Jon 4:11
And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?

Mal 3:18
Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Mal 3:5
And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

We are to hate all others.. hmm
Going to be pretty lonely in heaven if everybody is hating everybody, dont ya think?

How can you Love God and hate yourself if God is hanging with ya, in your heart, and in your mind, and in your own soul?
How can you hate the ones God loves?
And are you able to discern whom God has chosen to love and to hate?
Are you God?
Ofcourse not.
None of us are God.
But each of us has God in us, guiding us, loving us.

The ones we have to "hate" or let's say leave behind, are those that do not walk in love.
Their heart is attached to this world. The things that keep us seperate from the Love of God.
You know the list, envy, strife, lust..hold on..
These guys:
Rom 1:29
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom 1:30
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31
Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

And about this hammer...
Jer 23:29
Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

oh there's that rock again you mentioned earlier.
The one about falling on it rather than having it fall on your head.

So let's assume you have the ability to discern what is in people's hearts and minds.
Are you then going to go around hitting everyone over the head with the hammer, because you can't see
what you think you should see in other people's hearts?

Have you become the judge of hearts?
Are you able to rule the gavel with love and mercy?

Brother, taking up one's cross is between that person and God alone.
You can't make someone take it up or put it down.
The thing is to take up your own cross, lay aside the hate.
Learn to love and walk in his righteousness.
Let his love flow through you.

Jesus says, if you hate your brother without a cause, then you might as well have committed murder.
And you know and I know the Bible says, there aint no murderers getting into heaven.

I try to listen and hear the tone of your thoughts.
What your writing is like speaking with your heart and mind.
What I hear, and I could be wrong,
But I hear a lot of anger. a lot of mistrust.
And you want to control how others think and what they say,
But it's not in your power to do that.
You can't hammer someone enough to change.
And what if the one your hammering is innocent of how you perceive them to be?

Here:
Mat 7:2
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Mat 7:3
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Mat 7:4
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Perhaps instead of clobering people with hammers you may try praying for them,
if you feel they need praying for.
Everyone can use a prayer or two, I promise.

Mat 17:15
Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

Some may think I'm a lunatick, I fall into some discussions and wish I kept my thoughts to myself.
Sometimes the blowback is hot as hell, and other times cold as ice.
I ask God to have mercy on me and please forgive me.
And a prayer or two from my brother's and sister's could'nt hurt.
That's for sure.

Nobody's perfect. We all have our own quirks. Everybody speaks in different tones.
That my friend is something worth learning how to discern.
It's not always what they say, but how they say it that matters.

And I hear you.
And I think I understand where your coming from
I'm a bit concerned of where your heading to....

And I don't hold the hammer. And I am not the judge.
Sometimes my patience waivers, but I never hold a grudge

What the world needs now is not more hate
What the world needs now is love sweet love.
