"Don't call everything conspiracy that these people call conspiracy," the prophet said. But there is a divine conspiracy. Why? David asked the very question in the second Psalm. And how did Cain have a notion, of others threatening his life?

Divination has many devices used by kings and princes and astrologers and every deviser of witchcraft. Daniel and his companions had to study under them. The ruler summoned the sons of Israel, "don't you know someone like me can discover things through (divination)?" Kingdoms rule by hundreds of years, not by decades because of the stars. The magi and Daniel and others studied astronomy; devils study astrology. Why would someone be so reckless as to crucify Jesus? It wasn't recklessness for many. It was witchcraft.

It was a conspiracy:

John 11:45 - 53

Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.
But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.
Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.

And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.

somethings never change..

I think these are the snakes in the garden..
just saying..

Thank You Bartholomew!

'Call it like it is'!
How is it then?

"From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?" John 6:66-67

What did Jesus say or do to cause them go back from him?

"He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?" John 6:56-61

"And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat." Exodus 16:15

They were still under the old law.
Don't eat flesh or drink blood. Of course it would have offended them.. SAY WHAT??!!
Many didn't have the ears to hear that he was speaking of his Word (bread, body) and his Spirit (wine, blood) ,
They just ran away..

Jhn 6:61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
Jhn 6:62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
Jhn 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Jhn 6:64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
Jhn 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
Jhn 6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

We are blessed to live in these days when we have both the old and the new to compare.
Not that all of our ears and eyes are open fully either.. but at least we have a map to go with the journey.

Yes, we have a map but also available to us is One who is able to read and interpret the map correctly. No wrong turns are necessary, but when we use our own physical eyes and ears alone, we are going to make them...

Help us dear Lord!

What do you mean witchcraft? Over the past year..I remember my aunt had this blue picture of Jesus on the wall and I always had thoughts that maybe my aunt cursed me and Jesus when I was little girl. That thought keeps popping up in my head for some reason.

Everything occult related--astrology, palm reading, fortune telling, ouiji boards, etc. I think false religions and cults are rooted there too. Idolatry, and love of money as being a root of all evil. The revelation apparently links the lucrative mercantile industries very closely to "the fall of Babylon." And I think it's also a reference to the occult. Babylon fell when Nebuchadnezzars son belshazzar was condemned by "the writing on the wall," I believe because his activities with the vessels God had given into his father's hand were considered acts of divination those vessels being sacred.

Then that means he became a sinner.
I think transgression and sin are two distinct notions. Transgression is breaking a clear command. Sin is the human tendencies after transgression. For example, Adam transgressed when he ate. He sinned by hiding from God, neglecting his singular task which was keeping the garden.
