since women are not teachers in the N.T. I do ignore whatever you say regarding the bible. Since that gift is not for women cl. I read the scriptures you post which are true but not your interpretation which is false since you do not have the biblical gift of teaching.

hope this helps !!!

don't forget your covering when you come back.........................

ignoring all evil spirits and their willing followers.

In our liberal culture this message is counter cultural since the church at large has bought into the worlds philosophy hook, line and sinker. If you are not a seeker friendly church you will not attract anyone. The masses flock to the mega churches who stand for everything except Gods word. They like to have an audience and have their ears tickled. Gods word is offensive and the world hates God and loves their sin. So the church should look nothing like the world, its values or its ideas regarding the family, marriage, men and women, gender identity etc.....But I will stand on Gods truth below.

the A,B,C's below :

A-Women are commanded not to teach men as per Titus 2
B-Women are forbidden to teach in 1 Timothy 2
C-Women are to remain silent in the church in 1 Corinthians 14:34.

1 Corinthians 14:34
Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says.

1 Corinthians 14:35
If they wish to inquire about something, they are to ask their own husbands at home; for it is dishonorable for a woman to speak in the church.

1 Timothy 2:11
A woman must learn in quietness and full submissiveness.

1 Timothy 2:12
I do not permit a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man; she is to remain quiet.

So I will stick with these scriptures as my guide regardless of what the world says a women should be or do especially when it contradicts scripture.

hope this helps !!!
So, you are saying that the Holy Spirit cannot speak to a man through a woman.

You have effectively put God into your own little box.

There are many other scriptures that speak on the subject of this matter. At Biola University I did extensive research on a speech I did on this subject for my speech class; and while it turns out I did not have to do all the research (for I was graded on delivery and not content), I will continue to remember the arguments for the egalitarian view on this matter. It is not as cut and dried as you might think.

But I have also held to the authoritarian view for the most part, over the years.

Yet, in discovering that people like @CharismaticLady have things to say that are indeed from the Holy Spirit; and understanding that her gender does not prevent her from having the Holy Spirit: I consider that I would indeed be a fool to reject some of the things that she says based on her gender alone. I take them with a grain of salt because of her gender. But I do not discount them entirely. My choice is to be a Berean as concerning her teaching, understanding that women are more susceptible to being deceived than men and that therefore more scrutiny is to be exercised. But the same test is to be applied to all teaching: and that is that we are to search the scriptures to see whether these things are so.

I base my beliefs on Scripture and not feelings or emotions. Shall I obey God or a woman who is not allowed to teach ?

Women are commanded not to teach men as per Titus 2 and in 1 Timothy 2 where they are forbidden to teach and to remain silent in the church in 1 Corinthians 14:34.

Do you know the difference between speaking and teaching ?

Do you?

What if @CharismaticLady here is utilizing a word of wisdom gift rather than a teaching gift and you are rejecting her words of wisdom on the basis that you say that she is trying to teach you and that is not her place?

You would then be hardening your heart to what the Spirit is wanting to say to you and using the Bible to justify it.

I believe that the world sees that kind of thing as the worst of hypocrisies.

I do not see wisdom in what God does not allow.

And granting you the benefit of the doubt that there is any wisdom then it is in direct contradiction of James below in the way I have been treated.

James 3:17-18
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

Titus 3:2
to malign no one, and to be peaceable and gentle, showing full consideration to everyone.

1 Peter 2:18
Servants, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but even to those who are unreasonable.

The constant put downs. insults, personal attacks, favoritism, not gentle, not yielding to others who disagree tells me there is no wisdom from God.

hope this helps !!!

And that is exactly the gifts I have. I can hear God's voice, and He teaches me. I just repeat what He has taught me. In some cases, it is the opposite of what the common false teaching is that started at the time of the beginning of the Reformation that Jesus said, "I know you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead." So it is no wonder that some cannot accept these teachings, even though they are ALL based on scriptures that many prefer to either overlook or twist, because it doesn't relate to their carnal existence.

She does not behave that way towards me.

Do you think it might be possible that she is responding to the same kind of thing that you are accusing her here of when she reacts to you in this way?

It is not a sin to be unyielding in doctrine if you know that you are right about something.

Should anyone in the engaging of an argument, concede the argument if they know that the opposing side of the argument is a lie from the pit?

I think that you would agree with me on this; for you yourself do not yield when you believe that you have the truth of the matter.

It doesn't matter towards you read the scriptures I posted. I get treated just the opposite of James which I quoted. So there is favoritism which is the opposite of the WISDOM which comes from above.

Why you make excuses for un-Christlike behavior is beyond me.

hope this helps !!!

It is un-Christ-like behaviour to judge your sister.

Jas 4:11, Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
Jas 4:12, There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

But I understand that Proverbs 26:4-5 is here in play.

Do you yield to others by conceding an argument when you still believe that you have the truth of the matter?

Give me a break, man................

We are not in debate mode here (see Romans 1:29, 2 Corinthians 12:20-21).
you seem to be in one acting like her personal defense lawyer.

now do you want to continue with the biblical definition on wisdom and discuss that or not ?

James 3:17-18
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

you are the one who brought up wisdom in the first place , not me.

hope this helps !!!
