amazing what some people can do with google rofl.....................

No, it’s amazing what men can do with the sword of the Spirit:

Psalm 1:2-3 KJV
[2] But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. [3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Been doing that for more than 4 decades every morning 4 am and before I go to bed at night and pray throughout the day and meditate on His word hidden in my heart from memorization..

My wife, children, grandchildren are saved, friends, family, siblings etc.............

Acts 11:14
He will convey to you a message by which you and all your household will be saved.'

Acts 16:31
They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household."

co-workers I have also witnessed to and the Lord has saved them etc.........................

next..................................................

Have a HUGE problem to solve when it comes to the Apostle and leader of the Church Peter.

1- he denied Jesus 3 times
2- he ran from those who said he knew Jesus denying his relationship with Jesus
3- he lived a hypocritical life with the Jews and Gentiles after Pentecost
4- Paul confronts him to his face for being a hypocrite
5- Peter was a stumbling block for the weaker brother Barnabas and caused him to fall into sin as a hypocrite
6- Peter forced the gentiles with him to participate in his hypocrisy

See Galatians 2 for the details.

So according to their heretical teaching the Apostle Peter was not saved, lost his salvation and if he died was going to hell before Paul confronted Him with his sin.

hope this helps !!!
Peter was just like us.

One is saved by faith after Acts 2:38.

Peter denied Jesus before Acts 2:38.

He stood tall after Acts 2.... after receiving the Holy Ghost.

He was only momentarily hypocritical in Gal 2, since his recent lifestyle was gentile-like.

Peter was given the keys by Jesus in Matt 16, and Jesus made the right call..... Peter used them to open the door to baptismal salvation in Acts 2(Jews), Acts 8(Samaritans) and Acts 10(Gentiles).

Peter put his foot in His mouth many times prior to being born again on the day of Pentecost ... and then less afterwards.
I don't think this is a good argument for eternally security though.
Being born from above, sealed by the Holy Spirit is eternal. If we are born again and somehow could lose our Salvation by our acts of sin, then it is like saying God made a mistake - shouldn't have saved us. Why would God give us a gift (to those who aren't worthy, could not earn it, who continue to fall , stumble and backslide) and then take it away? That would be likened to granting us forgiveness and then putting us under the LAW again to somehow earn our worthiness of this gift -hold onto it. Unmerited favor is what Grace is. And faith is not by works - before or after you are saved. Sealed means sealed. We have been given a new spirit, cleansed of all sins, not just past sins.
The confusing part is the fact that we have two natures, the cleansed spiritual nature, (a special sanctified part of us where the Holy Spirit dwells) and then we have the other nature, our flesh. Sin dwells in the members of our flesh and so as Paul said it is not I who "wills" to sin, but sin that dwells in me. At death, our pure spirits separate from our flesh. This is how we are presented to the Father, spotless, white as snow. Any of us could die suddenly without time to ask for forgiveness of our recent sins. No worries, Christ died for all of our sins: past, present and future!
I struggled as a new believer with this concept of sinning after being saved; especially with 1 John 3:9. It is true, whoever is born of God does not commit sin and cannot sin. And yet we are sinners. That is a whopper to get your head around. Then I met someone who said, it is not sin unto spiritual death, it is in our flesh nature where sin dwells and that will die - actually has died. Our spirit is dead to sin. If we are dead to sin, born again eternally, sin has no more power. Nobody can snatch us out of His hands, nor will we do anything that will cancel our Salvation.
This is what faith is, it is being sure of things unseen, things hoped for. We can be certain , otherwise we will live in fear of losing it. God makes us holy, we are not capable if doing that ourselves without Him.. He predestined us, enabled us to respond to His call, justified us, is sanctifying us and will glorify us. He doesn't make mistakes, or change His mind, He knew this before we were born, before the foundation of the world.

Amen He saves us and keeps us saved as we read in John 10 giving us Eternal Life and no one can remove us from Him. Paul says the same thing in Romans 8:31-39

I do not believe in OSAS nor do I believe it is easy to lose your salvation.
"And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness."
This is one of the reasons I started the thread asking if a new denomination was forming.
I know that there are Christian that do not buy into biblical morals and or believe you can do what you want as long as you believe in Christ...splitting hairs on salvation.

"Why do you call me Lord, Lord, yet don't do what I say?" There is just too many scriptures warning Christians of Hell and too many sins listed that indicate the sins that will prevent you from inheriting the Kingdom of Heaven, for OSAS to be true. This is all over the New Testament. There is no scripture that even remotely suggest that you can do whatever you want as long as you believe in Christ.

The better debate is what can prevent a Christian from going to Heaven? It is actually a good debate and informative...
and little bit important.

Do you agree with this statement?1Jn_5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
Absolutely. But we are not talking about those who do NOT have the Son. And no matter how many Scriptures you think contradict the plain words of Christ, Scripture does not contradict itself. We must also reconcile what is not plain with the plain words of Christ. And here are some more words of Christ:

Jesus said unto her, I am The Resurrection, and The Life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:25,26)

Just this one passage tells us that those who believe in Christ have eternal life, and that cannot be reversed.

Everything has to be interpreted. Do you really think they speak English in Glory?

What language do you think they speak?

Everything does not have to be interpreted.

Are you going to tell me that “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved” needs interpretation?

Or, “love your neighbor as yourself” needs interpretation?

The only thing that needs interpretating is an unknown language. The Bible has been interpreted into many languages; if you understand the language no interpretation is needed.

The excuse of “interpretation” are for those who are in the flesh and cannot submit to what is plainly written in the Bible in my estimation.

It sure does.

Who is the Lord ?

Why did Jesus ask people who do you say that I Am ?

Also, what one holds as a definition of "belief in Christ" can be a source of division.

The language spoken in Heaven would probably be so holy as to burn our ears up. In this day and age "love thy neighbor as thyself" can indeed be interpreted in many different ways, especially by folks who don't know the rest of the Bible. We actually have to learn from the Bible how to love in a manner that is pleasing to God. If the Bible is so succinct and unnecessary of interpretation, then why are there 3/4 million words in it? Just to occupy our time and entertain us?
