This would be funny if it were not so serious. I encourage you to wait a bit like @aspen has said he will do before taking the plunge. When Apple comes out with an update, I always wait before installing it to see if there are major bugs. It’s prudent to see what’s what. Much more so when it comes to our health.

Your statistics don’t square with the ones cited by the analyst in the article I quoted in my Lies... thread. She got her stats from the CDC. Where do your stats come from??

I seriously doubt it.
8 billion people on the planet who have all received Vaccines of some sort. Usually made by the lowest bidder in the worst of conditions.
And they haven't been harmed...but in fact actually thrived. Life expectancy is going up around the world. Especially in the States... because of Vaccines and other preventative treatments.
The numbers of people living is steadily increasing and people are living longer...how do you think that happened?
This is just another vaccine. One the world desperately needs.
Better a hundreth to a tenthousandth of one percent be harmed than the 12% of virus victims. It's a numbers game and you aren't on the surviving side.
But yet people keep insisting that this one vaccine is going to hurt us more than the virus ever will?
That's insanity and fear Mongering.
By the time I actually get a chance to get vaccinated all the medical field will have taken it...as well as the nursing homes and first responders and soldiers.
I'm so far down the list of important people it's pathetic.
So where I do plan to get vaccinated billions to hundreds of millions will have been vaccinated before I'm allowed to get one.
There are limited supplies available. They have all been made small scale up to this point... like one quart at a time. But they have been at it a while. Soon they will go large scale...gallons at a whack.
And more Vaccines are heading towards approval. We'll have at least ten to choose from by spring... couple dozen by summer.
A hundred by next Christmas.

The myth that it's coming like it's some boogeyman. Yes chill pill, dude your acting just like what you say you don't like. Your acting like a conspiracy nut. You went from a rational person to unhinged about this because it touched your friend and now your no different than the conspiracy nuts who say things don't exist except your on the other end.
The answer is not the emotionalism that you display, the answer is logic and rational and no your not that right now. Your not even the guy I first met who was cool and collective. Now your no different than anyone else right now being over emotional and lashing out at people who don't accept your way.
Not every hospital is full and never will be, or some full or what they think is full sure. I was in the hospital with sepsis and cellulitis and there were two beds in each room but they had one patient in each room claiming they were full. So don't believe everything you read in papers or told. Someday I hope your like you were before.
