"The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.

25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men." (Proverbs 8.22-31)

Pro 11:1 A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.

NLT: The LORD detests the use of dishonest scales,
but he delights in accurate weights.

Makes me think of Goldilocks and the three bears.
Not too hard, not too soft, not too cold, not too hot..
But well balanced.. equal justice.
Just right :)

Proverbs 21:19
It is better to live in a desert land
Than with a contentious and vexing woman.

I lived with a contentious and vexing woman and we had a child out of wedlock. It was horrible. This was when I went my own way(it didn’t work). Well since I have become a Christian, God has given me the most wonderful woman I have ever met, the most wonderful person as well. An angel in the flesh, completely selfless. God is good.

Proverbs 24:16
“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.”

The only problem is I have lost how many times I falleth. Lol

Mat 18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Mat 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

If man is to forgive 7 x 77, imagine how patient and longsuffering our Lord is with us.
Amen
