Yes if the want to. Yes if they do it in moderation. And yes, but not as the world does.
@Pearl Peter's vision in Acts showed that much of the OT dietary prohibitions were done away with. Paul even encouraged Timothy to drink a little wine for his own health; a glass of wine now and again can even be good for you; but in moderation.

My wife and I don't drink wine by choice, but certainly it's not wrong in moderation.

Should you eat pork? No, unless you go to our local town Pour House and order the Phat Burger: a top-grade Angus burger patty over a pulled-pork -patty over 2 thick slabs of bacon, over pepper jack cheese, lettuce, and tomato, all smothered in home-made barbecue sauce (6 inches thick-$15)--
the best burger in town! And for just $2 more, you get a first-rate bowl of soup (e. g. cheesy broccoli).

Our Washington State restaurants are open for take-out only. But the Pour House remains open because they set up a large tent with tables and chairs and a huge flame shooting up in the middle for warmth that gives the tent the feel of an old Viking hunting lodge.

I don't drink much alcohol but like the odd glass of whiskey occasionally.

@Pearl I think of the Great St Bernard rescue dogs in the Alps; I think they carry little flasks of whiskey to help revive, don't they? it definitely has some medicinal value in moderation.

I thought it was brandy or cognac.

@Pearl Oh okay; you may be right.

Do you happen to have a preferred brand of whiskey?
I don't like the really cheap ones or stores' own makes. Famous Grouse is one of my faves or Bell's.
When Ray worked his boss used to give him a litre bottle of the good stuff every Christmas but he doesn't like it. I missed that perk when Ray retired. A bottle will last me at least a year though so you can see I don't drink it very often. What do you like to drink farouk?

@Pearl My wife and I don't drink alcohol by choice; I'm a tea person; but in moderation I certainly recognize it can be of some benefit.

I guess, practised, you have learned to tell the difference between the taste of Famous Grouse and other whiskey's? they all have their distilling formulae.

I wouldn't say that. If you gave me taste test I wouldn't know the difference.

Christians are most certainly allowed to eat meat including pork with blood still in it.

Sheesh
To me, Christmas is the celebration of the gift of God to fallen man, that being His Son, Jesus.
To me, Jesus is the gift that keeps on giving, in that as long as it is today, He lives in me, so I celebrate Christmas every day.
Instead of Easter, who was Eastre, a pagan fertility goddess worshiped by my ancestors, I celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Messiah, my Passover Lamb.
My once-for-all blood sacrifice, which enables me to take up my cross daily and follow Him. I celebrate Passover every day.

@Pearl I guess the choice is as much about availability and brand cost, as it is about the differences in whiskey taste, anyway.
Cost plays a part and I go for what I know usually. Cheap ones are harsh. Listen to me I sound like I know what I'm talking about.;)

Oh there's a world of difference between famous grouse, cigar malt, Islay, or speyside. And that's just scotch...

Bourbons are a whole nuther critter.
