Oh please. It takes about a second to google to find articles about how guns have saved people

Your article states---
Criminologist and researcher Gary Kleck, using his own commissioned phone surveys and number extrapolation, estimates that Americans use guns for defensive purposes 1.2 million times each year — and that 1 in 6 Americans who have used guns defensively believe someone would have died but for their ability to resort to their defensive use of firearms.

The problem with this article is simple enough, it uses generalities with no direct examples. This is a Trump tactic with no factual example to back it up.

If I state “find one example where someone used a firearm to defend themselves", you will come up with zero (0) examples.

It seems you want to return to the Wild gun toting past when in fact the Wild west had stronger gun laws than we have today.

:)-

The mere fact that every one of our self-righteous politicians is protected by armed guards should make us wake up and realize they very definitely know the benefits of having plenty of guns protecting them.

The answer is not a gun.....for a Christian. We don't see guns as weapons to use against people. We have actual spiritual weapons...that save people, not kill people. A person who thinks that killing someone is good...is not a Christian. That's why Paul says the "the weapons of OUR warfare are not carnal" (physical).

Besides guns don't kill people....bullets do.

But that's because their kingdom IS of this world. The challenge of people who claim to be the Lord's is where their weapons are?

We can tell the true habitat of a creature by where he goes when he is in danger. A bird will fly away...a mole will dig a hole. A worldly person will seek a physical weapon.

What 'generalities'? Is self defense a generality? Are you saying because the one who defended himself with a gun and didn't die, then you can't prove he saved his life? What liberal stupidity.

I want to return to the past which involves the Second Amendment and the right to not only 'keep' but to 'bear' arms. Is that to rich for you?

And you didn't answer my question, as usual. Should the police give up their guns?

The gun is behind the bullet. The person is behind the gun. You make an idiotic statement.

Killing some people is good. As some people need killing.

When God kills someone, is that spiritual or physical?

I believe in the 2nd amendment...

But how many guns do you need?
How much ammunition?

The sheer volume of cheap guns is ridiculous anymore...

Like I said...I believe that the average person should be able to buy and own a gun so long as they do so responsibly.
