Not at all.

Presumably you eat food grown by farmers and sold by shopkeepers who don't necessarily believe in God, and use a computer that was made by someone who doesn't necessarily believe in God. Why is a vaccine any different?

Come to think of it, why do you assume that all scientists and doctors are unbelievers?

And why do you expect God to step in with a miracle to heal you when He has provided you with a vaccine?
@Deborah_ My mind goes to the many, many dedicated Christians who have studied medicine, etc., - a lot of them women - and have served valiantly in hospitals - often overseas for decades in difficult situations. I think of all the pioneering women - including conscientious Christian women - who studied medicine in the 19th and early 20th centuries, sometimes in the face of vested, male prejudice - and succeeded in Providence in helping so many people. I just don't buy the extraordinary idea that if a Christian seeks and uses medical knowledge this indicates a supposed lack of trust in God. God does use means.

As a christian, if you choose to get vaccinated, are you putting your trust in God or man?

Leviticus 26:25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

Jeremiah 46:11 in vain shalt thou use many medicines; for thou shalt not be cured.

Man thinks he can outsmart God.

Or, worse yet; the fools don’t have God and must invent to themselves cures.

It will all come crashing down on them soon:

Revelation 16:10-11
And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Psalms 14:1
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

But for a true believer, it must be according to his/her conscience wether or not to take the vaccination.

I myself have been thinking heavily on this issue and on the things that are coming from the wicked democrats very shortly.

No one is saying this vaccination is in honor to any idols that I know of; that would be the absolute deal breaker for me.

1 Corinthians 10:27-28

If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof

But eating and injecting substances into your blood are entirely different things.

God help us.

Because God can heal without a vaccine. Just examine your posture....you are putting your hope in man to get vaccine started instead putting hope in God. It as if God has 50% of healing and control and other 50% of man to stop the virus. Look as if God is testing us... if we are putting our hope in man or putting our hope in God. Do you have faith that God can stop and heal without vaccine or do you put your faith in man?

God can feed His people with manna any time He wants - but the fact is, we all buy our food at the supermarket. Doesn't imply a lack of faith.

I've routinely not received a flu vaccine since the 90's. It became pretty clear to me that the years I got the shot were the years I got the flu, and the years I didn't, I didn't. So I stopped getting vaccinated, and, after 5 times in 8 years having the flu, I've gone 30 with getting it only once. OK, that's the background.

So I was driving to my doctor's appt. last spring, and I knew he was going to ask me to get the shot. I was praying about it, and to my surprise, it seemed God was telling me to get it. So I did.

I don't know why God does things the way He does, but I suspect it's got more to do with my growing in faith than in the particular technologies He wants to use to manage my health.

Much love!

I'd be more concerned with Revelation 22:18 and the added word, "Church," myself.

Let me get this straight, you trust in man creation of healing who does not believe in God, over Gods healing power, that He able to heal anything?

God uses different things to heal us. It is God that gave men the ability to make medicine, vaccines, and other things beneficial to mankind. I am disabled and in a wheelchair, doctors gave me operations so I can get around better. God gave engineers the inspiration to make electric wheelchairs and scooters so people like me can live independently. God gave men the inspiration to create vaccines to combat illness. Smallpox was almost eradicated because of vaccines as well as polio, without these vaccines these things had the possibility to be an extinction level event.

You see as a previous poster said your making a false dichotomy as if man can do anything that God hasn't allowed them to do or gave them the knowledge. What you do rejecting a vaccine is telling God that He is wrong giving scientist and Doctors the knowledge needed to create a vaccine.

I am not into Christian Science Reading.

I believe God uses both the physical and the supernatural in healing, man was made in God's image, he designed brains, he designed hands, sometimes some good ideas come from God given brains and sometimes good ideas get created by God given hands, whether it be vaccines or other types of medication.

And God can also supernaturally heal us of course.

We now need to distinguish between LEGITIMATE vaccines and ILLEGITIMATE vaccines. The ones created about -- a long time ago -- were legitimate. There was no political or financial agenda. It was pure medical science to prevent disease.

On the other hand, the vaccines for Wuhan virus are ILLEGITIMATE. They have been derived from the tissues of aborted fetuses and are simply mRNA -- messenger RNA. They are placed within the body to direct DNA to produce certain proteins. But they have definitely not been tested properly, and they have also produced severe adverse reactions as well as deaths (including that of a medical doctor).

Some governments have even stopped their usage recently, and over 60% of health care workers have refused these vaccines outright. If they were so trustworthy and beneficial, the health care workers would have gladly been vaccinated.

But here's the kicker. Fraudulent Fauci has publicly said that they DO NOT produce immunity, therefore masks and social distancing are still required. WHAT A MULTI BILLION DOLLAR FARCE!

God can and DOES use anybody He desires to do His will.

He can use an atheist scientist to cure a disease - just as easily as He used the wicked Pharoah to deliver His people.
It's not up to YOU or anybody else to decide who He will use.

You know what you are saying is not true.
Why are you exchanging the truth for a lie?

By and large the vast majority of health care workers have gotten the vaccine gladly...those who haven't gotten it have recovered from having the virus and are going without because there are other people who need it more than they do...a level of sacrifice with them relying on the 6 months of natural immunity vs the vaccine immunity.

Welcome to CB! I would say that trust in God can happen in both situations. You can just as much take a vaccine or not take a vaccine while putting your full trust in God. Just in all situations, trust God. I have been praying, and really the only thing to fear is if you do not know Christ Jesus. Once you come to know Christ Jesus, you are no longer under condemnation. Our actions effect us and others, so we need to research and pray about all things.

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge..."
Hosea 4:6 KJV

I believe everyone has different measures of faith and express it in different ways/different areas.

An uncle of mine back a hundred years ago lived in TN...he had Tuberculosis and the doctor told him to move to Arizona to get into dry air.... doctor also told him that if he ever came back to TN that he would die.

So he moved to Arizona and got to feeling much much better...so much do that he thought that a quick trip there and back wouldn't harm him too much and he could visit with everyone he was missing so much.

So...he went to TN...and while there got hit by a truck and he died...just as the doctor warned him.

So now... the doctors can be right and wrong at the same time. Those waiting might not get an effective Vaccine...I'm not really liking the next two coming in a few weeks.

AstraZeneca is made from aborted fetal tissue. J&J I'm not sure of...but it's only 60% effective. (Preliminary results and no word on the 40 of problems)

Wifey has been...and as soon as I can...I will. But I'm much more selective about which one I get. I want either Moderna or Pfizer...I prefer the Moderna. The Novovax one is showing great promise too but it's a month away at least. (No fetal tissues either)

This is the question Ive been asking myself lately. There is a difference between healing and a miracle. Healing is a process from what I understand. While a miracle is instantaneous. I am still trying to get the faith in the healing down first. I have been off of two anxiety medications for a month now after many years being on them!!!! Praise God!!!! He has done a work in my life!!!! I feel wonderful!!!! Even in a chaotic mess in the country right now, I really have been thinking clearer and more at peace then ever before. My measure of faith had to grow to this point though. I had to grow in knowledge and wisdom in how to combat satan's lies and stand equipped with spiritual armor.

Physical healing is a whole other ball game though. I just moved from a lifelong Baptist theology to more charismatic in nature in the last couple years. Im not going to go out and handle snakes to get bit. I am wearing a mask and taking precautions to not get sick. I always had vaccines though. Nothing ever happened. I never got sick. Didnt even question what was in them when my daughter had her and my son's first shots. I know I put my full hope in God!!!! I am just not omniscient. I know God can heal. But does He always heal in the same way? In the Bible, Jesus spit in one person's eyes for healing, told another to dunk in a river for leprosy to be healed, told lepers to show themselves to the priest, and just told another to get up and walk. So if a brother or sister prays and believes God tells them "go take this vaccine" I hope they listen to God rather then me.

Why would I inject an experimental vaccine into my body for a virus that I already have a 99.95% chance of surviving if I get it (without taking anything). I can even pop some vitamin C, D and zinc and probably increase my survival rate to 99.99%. It's a no brainer.
