Isn't it the prophet that is responsible for not letting the words fall to the ground? The Lord speaks to the prophet but the prophet doesnt share.

Then the Lord must fulfill the prophecy, fulfillment is none of the prophet's responsibility.

Blessings in Christ Jesus! The Lords words never fall to the ground. These prophets have called themselves, and thus their words have fallen to the ground. It is the Lord alone that chooses whom He will raise up. These false prophets could not last 10 minutes with the suffering involved in the breaking of the vessel for noble use. The Lord knows those that are His, and His have not spoken, nor where they commanded to. Perhaps it is time to take Jesus's words in Mathew 24 seriously. Have a nice evening.

I am somewhat tired of your puffed up pride in thinking you know who His prophets are or aren't .
And you ain't one either...none of what you have shared with me came to pass. So quit coming here throwing stones then disappearing without answering ANY questions from the accused.

Exactly. There are sixty plus false prophets that predicted Trump would have a second term. I’d bet that if they faced the consequences of death by stoning they would be a little more sure that God gave them revelations before they spoke.
Nowadays, they get around that by saying they are not prophets.

What I am talking about is the greedy money preachers on TV. This is the main reason people reject Christianity. Mega churches with huge mortgages, private jets etc. Joel Osteen, Kevin Copeland type preachers. Laodicean Church.
I think they might be the main excuse why they reject Christianity. People reject Christianity because they do not want to repent of their sins.

And all of your words have fallen to the ground as well, and you have claimed to be a prophetess. For this reason I have distanced myself from you. If you were true, you would not need a following, nor would you need to be heard. Your words are all written in here for all to see. And they have been found to be false. I do not need to throw stones, as your own words have been your undoing. Now is the time for repentance. And you will, before that Day arrives. It was the Lord that said, "do not answer her" in regard to the false prophet Kim Clement. That was for your sake. You should dig deeper in to this man, and what he has falsely said. Jan 31st 2009 Oklahoma City. The aborted babies would be coming back. Reincarnation, really? Donald Trump was on the ticket, before dropping out, along with David Dukes in 1999 for 2000 election and was considering running in 2004. Since there will not be any more pms between you and I on these boards I will tell you today that it was not The Lord pushing you to come here at the start of the pandemic. I do wish you the best, truly, and I will see you at the wedding feast. Oh, today I woke up again(praise The Lord), in a country that is still free despite who's running it, or who is not. Told you I would be hated for His Names sake.

Nope...no they haven't....Just quit throwing stones when you come here and then abruptly leave without allowing the victim of your attack seek clarification....that's your M.O...and it isn't very nice.
Have a blessed day.

The truth of a matter sometimes does not seem nice to the one receiving it. There are two sides to a sword. Since you have called good, evil and evil good, I will take leave of this place. There is no more need to bring words here. The words needed are writitn within the pages.

That’s a good point. I think everyone knows God exists in their heart but people don’t want to repent.
I think so also.

John 3:19-20
19) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20) For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Much love!

Now you are falsely accusing me of calling evil good and good evil. Want to back that up with evidence?
Here are some words for you brother.....you do not reflect the heart of our Father when you come in and slander members with your self-appointed position of calling them out on what they believe. I would gladly receive correction and instruction from a seasoned brother or sister knowledgeable of His Word and able to rightly apply it. You don't do that...you hit and run. Half the time I can't even understand your point since it is always so vague.
I have patiently endured what you have said in the past and took it to prayer and I am at peace with my relationship with my Father and I will be obedient to speak what He tells me to speak. If you disagree that's your choice...I don't get offended when someone disagrees with me but I can't tolerate an attack on my beliefs.
Have a blessed day.

Smith Wigglesworth gave a number of messages on the gifts of the Spirit, which were transcribed into a series of books. I have just finished reading his view of the gifts, especially his view that out of all the gifts the gift of prophecy is the most important.

Just as an aside, I found his view on tongues very interesting. He was absolutely passionate about the gift of tongues, and yet he said that he would never speak in tongues in a public meeting unless he felt definitely moved by the Holy Spirit to give a message in tongues designed to be interpreted. He often interpreted his own tongues when he spoke out. Often it was while he was preaching. He said that those who publically speak in tongues willy nilly are not being led of the spirit, but are being led of the flesh, because the Holy Spirit would never contradict His inspired Word; and Paul taught clearly that prophecy is to be preferred over tongues in the public services.

It is interesting that unless he felt definitely moved by the Holy Spirit, he would never excercise a gift. Often when he was asked to pray for a sick person, he said that he had personal faith for it, but often felt that it was not enough to achieve the needed results. He would wait on God until the Holy Spirit gave him the gift of faith, and then, as he said, when that happened, he could believe for anything!

It is interesting that he says that God does speak, and He doesn't say much. Wigglesworth says that often God may say only a couple of sentences, and when the person prophesies, he often doesn't stop when God stops, but carries on giving his own opinion to build on what God has said. Often prophecies get so long that congregations become weary of them and switch off, thereby losing what God has actually said. It is characteristic of his interpretation of tongues that it is always just one or two sentences. Very short. He says that speaking on what God has said to him is enough, and any more of his own self would be of no consequence and a waste of time.

Concerning false prophecy, Calvin says that the one who only wants to do God's will and glorify Christ, will never be deceived. He says that the ones who become deceived are those whose motive is to push themselves forward, to enhance their own reputations, power and control.

Wigglesworth says that anyone who accepts his interpretation of tongues or prophecy without verifying it through Scripture and practicability, is foolish and is making a serious error. He says that all prophecy, including preaching, should be carefully and thorough tested through what God has already said in Scripture. He said that if he gave a prophecy, and someone called him out according to Scripture, he would gladly acknowledge the error in his prophecy.

Smith Wigglesworth is the finest example of who a true Pentecostal should be. His effective ministry, and the great number of sick people healed through his years of ministry right up until the time of his death is testament of his unique faith in Christ. He was totally dedicated to Christ and His glory and always waited for the Holy Spirit to move him before doing anything. There have been times when he delayed preaching the message because he was not yet moved by the Holy Spirit. Before he was baptised with the Spirit, he couldn't preach, and it was the Holy Spirit that gave him that ability, so if he didn't feel moved by the Spirit, he knew that he couldn't do justice to the message he needed to preach.

So, a lot of these modern "prophets" are mainly self-seeking, and therefore their prophecies come from themselves. The Scripture says that holy men spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. Many of our modern "prophets" are motivated by the desire to be seen and heard and to have people praise them, and give money to their ministry and lifestyle. One modern prophet confessed, after some years of "successful" ministry that made him a lot of money from people who were totally convinced that he was called of God, that his only motivation for entering the ministry and preaching was to make money and become rich. Once he made his fortune, he felt free to confess his true motivation. At least in the end he was honest about it, althought unrepentant. I just wonder how many more modern day "prophets" are in it for other reasons than to do God's will and glorify Christ, but are keeping their true motivation carefully hidden?

But the day will come when the secrets of men's hearts will be revealed, and I think that many will be rudely shocked when the true motivation of their "heroes" will be revealed.
