Long title, huh?

I have a theory.

I think there is something very wrong going on in the weird side of Christian-based YouTube, where it's brainwashing people into what I can only explain as sort of a "contagious psychosis." The reason I say contagious is because it seems to be spreading pretty rapidly and anyone who gets caught up in the net is nearly impossible to save.

Some of the things that a close family member had told me about last year to prepare for has gone all of the way from "Three days of darkness are coming and you need to keep all of the windows and doors shut and stay inside to keep out the demons" to "Elon Musk is already trying to download our consciousness into crystals" to "Marina Abramović was singing at Biden's inauguration because of the illuminati" (Okay, it was a photoshopped meme but they do not know) to "Billy Graham was a third degree mason and they're all part of a cult."

And the explanations for me having not taken them seriously is because "these prophets know what they're talking about ... they have all of the news articles ...this guy has seen a lot of stuff in his visions and God does do that."

It's driving me nuts. Everything has been proven wrong or ridiculous over and over and over again and the worst part about this is this the stuff they're sending to people in hopes that they'll "get saved in the end times." Even sending videos to people on how to survive being left behind.

And now they're hearing voices that are "on point" or "too accurate" (with things being in sync or future events) and so have I, but I used my experience as an example to show them that it's demonic.

My word hasn't meant anything to them in regards to "stop doing that" or "these people are false prophets" or "those are demonic spirits" because I had some hard times so now their excuse is, "Well I think you just got really hurt with your experience and now maybe that isn't God's answer for you right now, but for everybody else we all want to level up and elevate ourselves." (Not with character but with spiritual gifts and chasing after them in my opinion is dangerous.)

But I think this is a serious thing that is spreading because other people are starting to fall for it and I think it's actually pretty serious.

Meanwhile I feel like I'm chasing Alice in Wonderland to pull her out of the hole, but she won't come out and she bites if you try.

Talking about God's word as if one is familiar with it and being familiar with it are two different things.
Substituting what one imagines is God's Word over hearing his Word sets one up for the wiles of any clever operator.

What do you mean by "God's word?"

Do you mean scriptural or prophetic?

Some of Christian Youtubers doing a gaslighting to others, they intimidating people by judging every words that came out of our mind, they hear and they see us but they were not see whether its reality or only a slipped tongue and non sense. This gaslighting type of preacher is similar to a serpent who lick the dust of every words we said.
They put fear to all people that the end times is near but by doing so, they snares many people in great sins and made them as a prisoners of the devil. Because God already told to Adam & Eve in "The First Book of Adam & Eve Chapter XXII:5" that every pain that made Adam & Eve become a sinner was they want to become as gods. And that was the main problem of Youtubers Christian preacher not care about. That's why bible told us to not follow them who declare as "I am He".

Mark 13:5-6 (BBE)
5. And Jesus said to them, Take care that you are not tricked by anyone.
6. People will come in my name, saying, I am he; and a number will be turned from the true way.

Luke 21:8 (BBE)
8. And he said, Take care that you are not tricked: for a number of people will come in my name, saying, I am he; and, The time is near: do not go after them.

Remember, do not pursue of being holy because whosoever wants to be holy they will be tormented by the devil in the wilderness. If you were being tempted by devil, try to not make any sins. The evil one will tempt your mind first then your will & desire or even your mindful lips. Put your focus on relaxation and happy feeling to defeat them.

That's interesting and I didn't know that. I don't watch them myself. I watch Shane Idleman and might watch a documentary, but typically don't care for watching Christian vlogs. Almost all vlogs annoy me.

But I think we should pursue holiness at any cost. But if you look at Jesus in the desert, he was first of all led into the desert - by the Holy Spirit in order to be tempted by the devil, and what he did when he was tempted was use scripture against him until Satan left him. "Submit yourselves then, to God. Resist the devil and he shall flee from you."

Focusing on relaxation and happy feelings, might work for an anxiety attack, but it's not the sword of the spirit. Like the song "Happy" that says "Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth" it's not. Jesus is the truth.

I think that if we don't like what another Christian is doing, we should pray for them.
I agree, but I have to admit dealing with a family member who going through severe psychosis as a result of these things makes a person think people should be more aware of it and it should be talked about.

Having a "prophet" on YouTube, thanks Chuck Pierce (mixed with others), convince your family member to call you almost in tears and terrified because of Passover and three days of darkness coming and warning about demons trying to get through the doors and windows really changes your mind about things.

Praying is good, but the aftermath still has to be dealt with....

Seduction Warning:

Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

2Pe 2:1-3 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. (2) And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. (3) By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

1Ti 6:3-5 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, (4) he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, (5) useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.

Anxiety attack caused by the sins of the flesh and every words that stimulated by the judging and gaslighting, they teach us like a gangrene or everything dirty words comes from a cancer/tumor (2 Timothy 2:14-18).

They put everybody mind focused on sins and false reality, this will caused imbalance in our brain and make the right brain become more active than the left brain. Human right brain was mainly focused of the fantasy and creative talents become dissapear, does our God wants the right brain become more active ?
Instead the right part of our deceiving flesh should be set apart if you need to live, rather than living with both parts (Matthew 18:7-9).

"Billy Graham was a third degree mason and they're all part of a cult."
This one is actually true. I know people get upset about hearing this and think it's akin to blasphemy. But he was born into the MK program. He had christian front alters, and hidden behind were the alters who carried out the cult's bidding. He perpetrated terrible things against children and women. I know someone who (she and her sister) were around his age, and (as children) they witnessed some of the programming (torture/trauma) sessions that he endured to split his mind and finally get alters who would perpetrate. He fought against it until finally enough trauma and splitting occurred to get compliant alters. In other words ...he also was a victim.

Well there are some that liked and have enjoyed Billy Graham, and his son Franklin is doing great work for the Lord.
And then there are people that like to take potshots at that those in the public eye. It is always going to be there.
Some people listen and the Lord listens about what they say.
I for one do not find fault with Billy or Franklin Graham.
But liars and gossipers have their own reward. Gossiping is a multifaceted sin, it is probably why Christ centered on this one type of sin more than others. The person that is gossiping is judging. They maybe right or they maybe wrong. The action can harm the reputation of others. It can affect their life, their social standings in and outside of the church. New Christians come to a church and people talk...sometime just for attention people belittle others. Sometimes this can offend people and they are turned off of Christianity. Christ has made a special collar for those that do this, it is called a millstone. Beyond the sin of judging unfairly and hypocrisy, harming others with idle lies, the lose of souls could be accredited to you and you could find yourself standing before Christ answering for that.

As far as belittling those that have dedicated their lives to the service of God... God is listening to what you say. No one is perfect but those so very unperfect take delight at saying harmful and hateful things about them. As far as Freemasonry, Billy Graham was not a liar and he already addressed this question. He was not a Freemason.

Thank you for your e-mail message. We understand your concern about rumors that Mr. Graham is in some way associated with Freemasonry. The reports are erroneous — though we continue to hear them. Mr. Graham is not, has not been and does not expect ever to be involved in Freemasonry. Your help in keeping the record as accurate as possible would be much appreciated.

Sincerely,

I am not a liar nor a gossiper. I am speaking what eye witnesses and people who knew him have told me. And I've never known my friend to lie. She is a believer. What she told me was told with a sense of sorrow as well as compassion having observed the severity of what he went through.

How do you think gossip works...somebody tells you something and then you spread it.
It really does not matter what evangelist it is, somebody somewhere thinks they have dirt on them.
Some people make a career of it...finding and spreading dirt about those that spent their lives serving the Lord.
But when you get down to it, what good does it do? Is it a productive past time? The Billy Graham Crusades led thousands to the Lord, what do you think that does to them?

I cannot say I am a "follower" of Billy Graham but I certainly enjoyed his ministries from the time I was young.

Believe what suits you. I have seen how these things work because I had a pastor (assembly of God) who also did these things (child rapes, rituals, etc) ... then another pastor who was one of my handlers for the cult for much of my life. He did missions work all over the world, but that was a front/cover for the cult.

I never mentioned it to my family who believed our pastor was a basically good guy (albeit with some quirks/issues).
Then my cousin came out and told what happened to him....at the church, by our former pastor. So it isn't a smear campaign. It's just victims corroborating each other's testimonies. My friend who knew Graham never went public with what she knew and neither did her sister. One (younger) survivor has, though.

I believe the many survivors' eye witness accounts. Being shattered doesn't make someone not saved. It just means they were broken and never submitted all their brokenness to Christ.

But as far as citing all of a person's good works to somehow prove they couldn't do these things ....consider this.

Matthew 7 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ²¹ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. ²² Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? ²³ And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Bogeymen under the bed, in the closet, around the corner, wherever ya go including Church. Sounds like a paranoia you need to keep to yourself. We have talked before, considering what you have been through...what that has done to you...no surprise...no sin, but you do not want it hurting others. There are those that are susceptible to Bogeyman stories and conspiracy theories and witch-hunts. You do not need to fan the fire. Consider your own ingrained negativity and paranoia when you respond.

On the other hand and very important, if you want to talk to someone about your issues...this is the forum for that and I am sure you will find a sympathetic ear of which I am one. But there is no way to "fix" the past, only dealing with the now and moving forward. You have been wronged but even if you could avenge yourself it still would not fix the past.

Maybe but imo the end times scare tactics have been around for quite a long time.
