If they are among the sheep, then you are saying that there are only two groups in the passage ~ the sheep nations and the goat nations? But that would be problematic, for how can Jesus say to His brethren, being among the sheep what he said in v.40?

Not what I'm saying, you seem to have added brethren to Matthew 25:31-46. Where do you read anything but two groups, sheep and goats? Right hand and left hand.

Matthew 25:31“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the [c]holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.33And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdomprepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36I wasnaked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’40And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did itto one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

41“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44“Then they also will answer [d]Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46Andthese will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

In my interpretation: you're not reading it correctly. But I see what you're trying to say. When Jesus says "Brethren", it's because he's addressing and speaking to his "brethren". Like if I said, "listen to me my brother."

Wasn’t the writer of Hebrews addressing the Hebrews and not others who aren’t Hebrews? [/Quote\]
So you're saying since we're not Hebrews but instead Gentiles we should ignore the book of Hebrews, right? That we shouldn't include that book in our study of the truth about God. That the things Paul said about faith in the book of Hebrews we should ignore because we're Gentiles, we should ignore how Paul talks about the exalted position of Jesus Christ because it only applies to hebrews. Let me give you a hint, if you honestly believe we should ignore the book of Hebrews because as you say Paul wrote to Hebrews, you're wrong. The letter of Hebrews was written to fellow Christian Brothers who were Hebrews. Just as the Hebrews were brothers so we're the corinthians, the Romans, the Philippians, the Colossians, etc. They were all anointed brothers with the heavenly calling.
What you choose to believe is your choice but I'm not going to disbelieve because you do, and what anyone thinks of me about what I believe, doesn't matter.

You're smart enough to know that we study all the scriptures, which includes the book of Hebrews. You're not going to convince me that you're that dumb, that you don't know that.

Do you feed, visit in prison, visit in sickness, clothe, and house Jesus' Brothers?

Yes? No?

Matt. 25 has Jesus stating the following:

Vs. 41, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels."
Vs. 45, "Inasmuch as you did it not unto the least of these, you did it not to me."

According to Jesus in vss. 35-36, this happens to everyone who:

1.) Does not give food and water to hungry and thirsty people.
2.) Does not house strangers.
3.) Does not give clothes to naked people.
4.) Does not go see sick people.
5.) Does not go see people in prison.

This describes homeless criminals, druggies, the mentally ill, the resourceless unemployed, screaming mobs of desperate and disenfranchised rioters, the demon possessed, murderers, felons, people dying in hospitals, hoards of homeless orphans in Africa, thieves who steal food, babies being aborted, Liberals in poverty after rejecting God.

Jesus said nothing here about asking Him into your heart, or about falling on your knees.
I am so glad that you're putting your money where your mouth is and are inviting demon possessed, murderers, felons, homeless orphans, food stealing thieves and liberals home for dinner on a regular basis. Also, that you are visiting sick people in hospital and prison every Saturday and Sunday. Well done!

Yes. And that’s the point of my asking. The book of Hebrews was written to Christians, but specifically to the Hebrew Christian. It’s the only book in the NT scriptures which was addressed to a specific race, the Hebrews. Not meaning to say that, we should not study it, but should study it in that context, the context of the Hebrews.

How you choose to view it is your choice but I'm certainly not going to agree with you when we have such scripture that say all scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, so that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work. So if you want to believe that only the hebrew anointed are going to go to heaven you do that, I'm not going to agree with that.

I know. I am not forcing anybody here. No problem if you don’t agree with it BarneyB.

And I don’t believe as you imply.

Abba Father I ask You to show my brother and lead my brother to a ministry that will be able to provide for him food and shelter for the next 8 days. In Jesus' Name.

I feel like I am saying "Be warmed and filled."

But praying for you is the extent of what I can do for you at this point because our acquaintance is only over the internet.

However, I see that I am responding to your first post here.

Welcome to the Boards!

Christians are saved from this judgement. It is the last judgement it occurs after the church has been raptured [so shall they ever be with the Lord] and 1,000 years after the saints have reigned with Christ.

Neither the sheeps or the goats are christians, each are judged by whether or not they ministered to the needs of God's people "in-so-much as ye have done it to one of the least of these My brethren ye have done it to Me"

"These My brethren" are the people of God.

Actually, the brethren of the Lord are sheep rather than goats;

And it is not beyond the realm of possibility that those who are helped would also help others at some point.
