People forget that prophecy is to be understood after the event.. Not before.
"I have told you these things before, that when they come to pass you shall know that I am He".
So true!

Much love!

But back to Usual, promoting the Marxist regime... Treaties, sucking millions out of Taxpayors pockets, Open Borders Intents, Gifts to Illegal Aliens on the Taxpayors dime,
Economy depression, Highlighting push of abortions, Family separations, Energy unavailable, Ramping up US soldiers overseas...
Same old game...Separation, broke, no jobs, Crap food, Death scares, War, Abortions, Gang murders, Gun restrictions, Hitler style camps (for supposed health safety)
Same Marxist Agenda...which is moving at warp speed.

Well aren't you a ray of sunshine on a Friday morning!!

I'm not going to say whether Trump is going to be president or not. I don't know.

But when people do have a prophecy, I wouldn't expect it to always be immediate or easy.

You have 400 years of silence between the old and the new testament. How long did Abraham and Sarah have to wait? What happened to Joseph before he was prince? What did he have to go through? How long did the Israelites stay lost in the wilderness for a journey that should only have taken about three weeks?

When I had a man prophesy over me as a teenager, he said I would have a visitation and some other things. I told my teacher what happened and she was immediately concerned and warned me to not let it discourage my faith because "prophecies are not immediate" and she warned me "Don't be disappointed if it doesn't happen for a long time. . . It could take 20 years."

It took about 13-14 years. Somewhere in there. Don't expect things to be immediate. I went on with things and forgot about it until it happened, but that's useful advice for everyone today.
I'm not ruling anything out. God is able.

Much love!

I really wish bobbyjo was still here, mainly because I am wondering how he accounts for nothing major taking place.
Looks like you have not been keeping up with the news from conservative sources. Do you know how many DISASTROUS executive orders have been issued by Joe Biden to destroy America? Do you know that the disaster in Texas was caused by the Department of Energy under the Biden administration? These are all MAJOR CHANGES to the USA government and are seriously impacting negatively on everything.

Any time that I had an accurate prophesy I knew what I knew what I knew in my spirit. There was no questioning or arguing it. That's my experience.

I had MANY experiences where I "heard" something and you think that it must be God, but not everything you "hear," no matter how clear it is, means that it is God. We have to remember that there's two different sides working here.

I've had episodes where I was sitting around watching TV and then I heard very clearly "Isn't it wonderful?!" and then a minute or two later they were singing a song about "Isn't it Wonderful" or something on The Dick Van Dyke Show. Never saw it before. Was that God? No. It doesn't glorify God and all it did was make me feel nuts. I was also in the middle of intense spiritual warfare and these kinds of things were messing with me *all of the time*.

It doesn't discourage me from the faith. I believe that God is looking out for us and he does what is right in his timing. My faith is in Christ and Christ alone. We need to rely on trusting God only. Not always in what people say.

For the record, I have zero direct prophecies/insight about anything that's going on right now. I knew on election night who was going to be elected, and maybe there's a reason for that, but right now there's zilch.
Thank you for your honesty. From my own experience it is a learning curve with regards to ‘ hearing from the Lord ‘. I must admit there have been times when it’s been loud and clear , as you say you just know.
There have been times when I have had to convey a message to my daughter about the baby she was carrying, it took the Lord three attempts to get me to be obedient. Then, as an act of faith I started knitting for that baby ( at the time the doctors were 95% sure she would miscarry. Emma arrived safely 7 months later. Many around me thought I was mad, but interestingly enough my daughter trusted my words.
There is a sense that once we speak out what is laid on our hearts to another person it becomes a challenge to our confidence in The Lords voice.........

This is also to give context to @Taken as well. I should have explained a bit more. I am aware of the things you have both relayed but my reference about something ‘ big ‘ occurring was in line with bobbyjo’s prophecy revolving around Trump being reinstated as president and trump and pence being the two witnesses. He relayed that something big would happen this week with regards to his insights into revelation.
One of my sons friends lives in Texas , so he has been keeping us informed of the situation. I guess one thing bobbyjo did mention was about power outages.

I've had prophecy before from God and also angels. And you can't always tell it's from God. But it's pretty awesome when it happens. I don't tell anyone because they are supposed to glorify God and not me as a prophet. The times I knew it was God without a doubt I was filled with the Holy Spirit and could feel the fruits intensely for hours (Galatians 5:22-25).

But yeah where's @Bobby Jo? They should still be here, They have things to contribute!
I believe he got banned, but don’t know if it was permanent or just for a period of time. I have typed his user name into the member search and nothing comes up.

Hi Rita!

For me, I honestly think I came away even more convinced of my gift in many ways. I had no idea so many were prophesying Trump would win, and that I was speaking in direct contrast to the vast majority. I even wanted myself to be wrong at one point, and was looking for ways to believe otherwise. But it came true.

That having been said, there were a few things I would chalk up as being warnings of things potentially happening, such as BLM reaping what they would sow. That looked to be in the early stages of developing, but the tension faded and the country was spared any unnecessary violence. But I also honestly think much of how things unfolded was also because the powers that be changed their tactics. I personally believe they thought violence and armed revolt would be necessary, until it became apparent to them that the election could be stolen through voter fraud. Once they realized it, the whole scenario of how things would play out changed. Coverstone's prophesies I believe were conditioned around the enemy's original plan, and when it changed so did the outcomes.

This of course all relies on the theory that the things men do can alter prophecy, such as happened when Jonah prophesied Nineveh would be destroyed but they repented. I don't think repentance played a part, I just think the enemy's plan for the country changed directions, and they went with a different plan.

Prophecy is an interesting study, and I continue learning about it all the time. As for Bobby Jo, what he was off into was Blatantly false stuff for anyone with any knowledge of scripture, and I told him so several times publicly. But I also told him not to take it too hard when it didn't happen, because I could see how badly he was setting himself up for a fall.

I hope he is ok, and I hope if necessary he simply uses a new identity to join us again. Apart from the quackery he taught, he was actually a likable guy in some ways. But I truly hope he doesn't start in with making Biblical predictions again. People need to at least have a semblance of knowledge regarding Biblical end-time prophecy before they go declaring who the two witnesses are, and that they are already here.

A prophecy shouldn't change to suit a change in tactics, as if to say God didn't know about the change in tactics in advance. It can only mean it doesn't come from God.

About things going silent, that's only for a time. There were some things I would have posted based on several dreams from different sources that corroborated with each other, but because of the political climate being so heated back then (November), I decided to wait. I will likely just wait now until they show the early signs of fulfillment and then present them. Not that I need to wait personally - I know it is going to come to pass - but just that I was as sickened by so many of us not getting along as anyone else, and in the end I don't really see predicting it as being so important. People will die, and maybe prayer would change that a little, but this forum is my home and I'm enjoying things being more peaceful again for a change.

God bless, and thanks for asking. It reminds me of where we were then and where we are now : )
Pleased it clarified things for you HIH x
I think there were many times when prophecy was ‘ pondered in the heart ‘, like Mary when she was told about the messiah. I often wonder if there is a danger of relaying things to others before really weighing things up prayerfully.
In your earlier post you mentioned about things changing, not sure I have really considered that with prophecy or considered that aspect with Jonah. So that’s something for me to ponder xx

BobbyJo has been banned, he was disgustingly rude here and had nothing worthwhile to contribute.

There will be no 'sign of a major change'. The terrible Day of the Lord's vengeance and wrath will strike suddenly and unexpectedly.
It will be triggered by an attack upon Israel by an Islamic confederation. Could happen at any time soon.

The Next Prophesied Event:

Isaiah 61:1-2a The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me. He has sent me to announce good news to the humble, to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and to proclaim a year of the Lords favor,

Isaiah 61:2b-3...and a Day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, to give then garlands instead of ashes, oil of gladness, instead of mourners tears and a garment of splendor for the distressed. They will be called trees of righteousness, planted by the Lord for His adornment.

Isaiah 61:4-11 Buildings long in ruin and desolate will be restored and rebuilt. Foreigners will serve you, caring for your flocks and vines, but you will be called priests of the Lord and the wealth of the nations will be yours. Because My people have received insults and shame in double measure, they will receive in their own Land, wealth in double measure.

For I, the Lord love justice and hate injustice, I shall give My people a sure reward and make an everlasting Covenant with them. Their posterity will be renowned among the nations, they will be seen as a people blessed by the Lord.

Let us rejoice in the Lord with all our hearts. From Him has come victory and deliverance. His people, robed in beauty are like a garden full of flowers. The Lord will make His victory and renown known to the nations.
Reference: REB, NIV, KJV. Some verses abridged.

Isaiah 61:1-2a, was quoted by Jesus at the commencement of His ministry;.... a year of the Lord’s favor’. He stopped in mid sentence and then said: Today, in your hearing, this prophecy has come true.

Therefore, the rest of this chapter is unfulfilled prophecy. So, we look for the sequence of events to unfold as written, commencing with:

a Day of vengeance of our God’ - The next prophesied event. Not the Return of Jesus in His glory, but His punishment to the nations, triggered by an attack on Israel. This is prophesied and described comprehensively throughout the Bible as a terrible disaster by fire, that will affect the whole world. Isaiah 63:1-6, Isaiah 30:26

comfort all who mourn’ - All who love the Lord and follow in His Laws, those who mourn His death on the cross. Zechariah 12:9-10

trees of righteousness, planted in their own Land’ - His people: all faithful Christians, Jews and Gentiles are gathered and settled in His holy Land, into all of that area promised to the Patriarchs, to their descendants by faith, Galatians 3:26-29, in the new country of Beulah. Isaiah 62:1-5, Ezekiel 20:34-36, Isaiah 26:15

buildings rebuilt and the land restored’ - After the devastation caused by the sun; Isaiah 30:26-30, The Lord will regenerate the Land, Ezekiel 36:8 but buildings must be rebuilt, including the new Temple. Isaiah 65:21, Zechariah 6:15

foreigners will serve you’ - Isaiah 60:10...foreigners will rebuild your walls...

wealth of the nations will be yours’ - Zechariah 14:14 The same as what happened at the first Exodus. Exodus 11:2

‘make a Covenant with them’ - Jeremiah 31:33, Ezekiel 34:25, Isaiah 54:10, Hebrews 8:10-12

‘from Him has come victory and deliverance’ - Psalms 91:14-16, Psalms 44:4-7

‘known to the nations’ - Ezekiel 39:21, Isaiah 40:5

Somebody in a YouTube video pointed out the scripture about judgment starting with the house of God. I had not considered that verse with all that's happening with fake prophets and big name church leader$ getting exposed lately. If we are to understand correctly, before judgment comes (and we've been expecting it for years) the church has to get shaken first. I'm beginning to think that may be happening. Fake prophets and million dollar ministries are being exposed, and it should be no surprise that the wealth and prosperity gospel is at the root of all this. (Yes, the Trump movement was/is centered in a desire for wealth in the name of God).

Basically, we've been watching false prophets leading us into idol worship. That alone, even if their prophecies came true, is enough to recognize them as false prophets.

1If a prophet or dreamer of dreams arises among you and proclaims a sign or wonder to you, 2and if the sign or wonder he has spoken to you comes about, but he says, “Let us follow other gods (which you have not known) and let us worship them,” 3you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. For the LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

...he has advocated rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery; he has tried to turn you from the way in which the LORD your God has commanded you to walk.

Deuteronomy 13:1-5

When you see Paula White in the white house as a spiritual leader you know right away God is not in it. I pray that we're all passing the test the Lord is administering right now (vs.3 above). And even if you haven't there's still time to turn to the Lord and get it right.
I think many people felt the same way as you with regards to the church, certainly ‘ if my people would humble themselves ‘ was something that was often laid on my heart, but often as not we are all quite stubborn and need a kick to bring us to our knees. I don’t know much about Paula White, but I have ( in the past ) listened to a few of her sermons. Personally nothing she said at the time gave me any concerns, but this was many many years ago.
I am presuming she became more prominent in the prosperity Christianity circles.

Who is to say the principality over Ninevah was not overthrown, fulfilling the prophecy in the spiritual. The vagueness of the prophecy allows for multiple interpretations based on man's assumptions.

Consider also the birth of Jesus and how Herod heard the prophecy and tried to act against it. Yet there were two others that he set in motion by this, coming out of Egypt and then going to Nazareth.

I really wish bobbyjo was still here, mainly because I am wondering how he accounts for nothing major taking place. All the prophecies, all the words from others, and yet nothing has come about. So ...... do you doubt God, doubt your inner voice. I have noticed that all the voices are now silent , but where does that place accountability.
Many were rude to those who didn’t fall in line with what was being prophesied........
Honestly, how is everyone handling things after so much hope was placed on ‘ insights ‘ ......
Has it made you question anything ?
How trusting will you be with the people who proclaimed, with certainly, what would unfold?
Perhaps it’s the timing that was out, not the prophecy itself.
Just curious .........
Rita
Sensationalism Rita...people get off on it and the flap of disinformation and lies is indiscernible to those given over to it.

The warnings against deception are plentiful enough yet how to discern is not independent of God's guidance. I read in Timothy of people being awash in a strong delusion because they refused the love of the truth.....yes, loving truth is a different animal to loving what one deems to be truth.

At the end of the day we are all on our own regarding who and what to believe....... the experience of Judas is a case in point.

A prophecy shouldn't change to suit a change in tactics, as if to say God didn't know about the change in tactics in advance. It can only mean it doesn't come from God.

Maybe a better definition of terms is in order. I fully believe dreams and visions can serve as warnings of what the enemy is planning, and/or what will happen should a person do such and such a thing (Acts 21:1-26). But in such cases, maybe they should be better described as "words of knowledge" rather than prophecy? I'm not sure, although I can see how it would seriously confuse outsiders if things were described as "prophecy" and yet the events prophesied didn't come to pass.

Nevertheless, there most certainly should be a use in the body of Christ for divine insight into what the enemy is doing and planning. Purely from a military strategists point of view, I doubt the Lord wants His people being blind to it. After all, Paul's teaching suggests that we should not be ignorant of the enemy's devises, and for me that would most certainly include what he is planning on the world stage where believers are concerned. They have their power because Satan gave it to them, and they are making plans every day. All the better to be prepared in advance mentally, should they follow through on something.

It's a good question, and I honestly don't know myself. But I would actually lean towards defining it as a message now. I just don't know if the word "prophecy" is used in scripture regarding what Jonah did. I'd have to search through the scriptures myself to find out.
