The Emperor Constantine was your first "Pope".

"Pope" is not in the Bible, but was made up by the RCC as an ecumenical title for it's Emperor.

evidence?
Pope comes from the Italian for papa and father and is in scripture especially Isa 22 where the man receives the keys of authority is named “father”

Now say call no man father? Ok

Call no man father

Typical fundamentalist misunderstandings!

Matt 23:9
Call no man Father?

Is this an absolute requirement?
Or is Our Savior condemning pride and spiritual pride of the Pharisees?

God calls men father!

Ex 3:6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

Jesus calls men father!

Jn 6:49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

Mary calls men father!

Lk 1:55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

The stephen calls men father!

Acts 7 Stephen quotes the fathers over and over!

The Bible calls men father!

Luke 16:24
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Then there is spiritual fathers!

Spiritual Fathers have care for our souls!

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Jn 21:17 feed my sheep:

Heb 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they care for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

1 Tim 1:2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you

1 John 2
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.

That makes Peter, Paul and John spiritual fathers, pastors of our souls!

Is 22 the administrator of the kingdom is called father, so the same for Peter, the apostles, and their successors!

As I've said so many times - your ignorance would be hilarious if iut wasn't so darn tragic.

Now you have to provide the document declarig Constantine as "Pope" - as well as the document proclaiming the creation of the Catholic Church at the Council of Nicaea.

Good luck with that . . .

WAIT a minute.

YOU are the one who is claiming that the Church was in doctrinal perversion and heresy by the beginning of the SECOND century - and now you're jumping over centuries to discuss the heresies that you disagree with. If the Catholic Church was so doctrinally corrupt - how was it that she was able to weed out so many of the heresies that you refuse to discuss - like Arianism, Gnosticism, Nestorianism, Sabellianism, et al?
You believe the Church was in heresy at the beginning of the 2nd century?
No. I didn't say that. I said the falling away, the apostasy, had it's roots in teachings by such as Ignatius who placed the church as an institution to be of equal authority to the word of God... See here your quote...
Ignatius of Antioch
Follow your bishop, every one of you, as obediently as Jesus Christ followed the Father. Obey your clergy too as you would the apostles; give your deacons the same reverence that you would to a command of God. Make sure that no step affecting the Church is ever taken by anyone without the bishop’s sanction. The sole Eucharist you should consider valid is one that is celebrated by the bishop himself, or by some person authorized by him. Where the bishop is to be seen, there let all his people be; just as, wherever Jesus Christ is present, there is the Catholic Church (Letter to the Smyrneans 8:2 [A.D. 107]).
The beginning of heresy. The real apostasy was fully developed when the popes assumed civil authority over Rome. Then the persecutions began and the house became desolate.

"priests" have no magic power

No, no magic.
Rather the power of the Holy Spirit.

Every time the Eucharist is celebrated, Jesus is really, substantially present there, upon the altar,
Offering Himself, for us, and to us..

The Groom, giving Himself to His bride, and she receiving Him... The two made one flesh..

And the fruit of that union? Every soul Baptised into Christ!!

What keeps you from the Feast?

Peace be with you!

Christ is risen!
Alleluia!

Well, it's possible that this is referring to "RCC" - whatever that is.
However - it's definitely NOT referring to Christ's Catholic Church . . .
The RCC(Roman Catholic Church) is going to be wiped out by God for the entire thousand year reign of Christ on earth.

It will never host a human on it's soil as a memorial to her 1700 years of mass deception and wickedness on mankind.

God will make an example out of this great whore in Rev 18.

There will be a final call for Catholics to run from her before this wrath happens.....'come out of her my people and partake not of her plagues'.

God's people are not the RCC's people.

You better listen, fella, unless you are owned by the RCC.

Constantine took pure Christianity, added Jewish O.T. rituals, then pagan statues and prayers to them. They simply took the statue of Apollos and added "Paul" to it. Semeramis became the statue of "Mary" etc.

Now they have millions of statues that speak and bleed etc.

What a racket.

No. I didn't say that. I said the falling away, the apostasy, had it's roots in teachings by such as Ignatius who placed the church as an institution to be of equal authority to the word of God... See here your quote...
That wasn't Ignatius's teaching - but GOD'S.
Read and pay attention . . .

Matt 16:18-19
And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.
I will give YOU the keys to the kingdom of heaven. WHATEVER YOU BIND on earth shall be bound in heaven; and WHATEVER YOU LOOSE on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Matt. 18:18
Amen, I say to you, WHATEVER YOU BIND on earth shall be bound in heaven, and WHATEVER YOU LOOSE on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

John 16:12-15
“I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.
But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to ALL truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to YOU the things that are coming.
He will glorify me, because he will TAKE from what is MINE and declare it to YOU.
Everything that the Father has is MINE; for this reason I told you that he will TAKE from what is MINE and declare it to YOU.

John 20:21-23
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent ME, so I send YOU.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the holy Spirit. Whose sins YOU FORGIVE are forgiven them, and whose sins YOU RETAIN are retained.”

2 Thess 2:15
"Stand firm and hold fast to the Traditions you were taught, whether by an ORAL STATEMENT or by a LETTER from us."

Luke 10:16
Whoever listens to YOU listens to ME. Whoever rejects YOU rejects ME. And whoever rejects ME rejects the ONE who sent ME."

YOUR folly is that you erroneously believe that God's word is bound only by what is WRITTEN.
The verses above show us that He speaks THROUGH His Church.
The beginning of heresy. The real apostasy was fully developed when the popes assumed civil authority over Rome. Then the persecutions began and the house became desolate.
And again - I refer you to the verses above and ask you to explain to me WHICH part of "WHATEVER you bind or loose" you fail to understand.

Can you show me the documented proof for this - that Constnatine did these things and was the first Pope of the Catholic Church?

I'll wait right here for your answer . . .

YOUR folly is that you erroneously believe that God's word is bound only by what is WRITTEN.
The verses above show us that He speaks THROUGH His Church.
And your folly is that you imagine your church as having authority above and beyond what scripture teaches. Authority over and above the word of God. Again as I said in another thread, replacing Christ with anything else, particularly authority, is the purest definition of Antichrist.
As far as your quotes are concerned, they are only valid so long as you agree with scripture. Same as your do called traditions. Those traditions that Paul and the Apostles agreed with scripture.

I share these sentiments. These should be rules on a debate forum.
CB is not a debate forum or there would be some kind of structure required.
HOW TO DEBATE
Without order their is no debate. What we have is loosely moderated discussion, peppered with baseless insults. If a claim is proven false with scholarly evidence, the falsehood should be withdrawn.

WRONG.
It's contextually perfect.Nicodemus was asking about how to be born AGAIN - not how to be born. Besides - the verse explicitly states, "Water AND Spirit".
If you don't like those words - take it up with GOD . . .

NO, that is your corrupted bible, lying, changing the verse, into the water cult """"doctrine of devils."""""

See, we are not born again by water, .. we are born again by the Holy Spirit, when God accepts our faith.
Bottom line.
So...
Continue to avoid this using water, if you prefer.
Continue to pretend that God has to wait for you to get into the tub and get wet before He can apply the BLOOD ATONEMENT, if you need to keep playing a game of deception with yourself on this forum, and in life.
Nothing new regarding water cult theology and those who are deceived by it.

No, no magic.
Rather the power of the Holy Spirit.

Thats not true.
There is no "power of the Holy Spirit" given to water cult priests that empowers them to do anything, much less literally change a cookie and juice into the Living Christ that you chew and swallow.

Stop talking cult nonsense.
Its offensive to God.

You can read how it was done in Acts 2.
OK.... since refused to answer and to comply with your suggestion I read Acts 2 determine how a Christian gets baptized with the Holy Spirit. Here is what I found: ‘Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Which is what Christianity has been teaching for 2,000 years!! Baptismal regeneration!!
