In another thread I made the statement that in reality, most things are not equal and that (false or artificial or forced) Equality is evil, which is why there is scant reference in the Bible. The Bible emphasizes the importance of the unequal at nearly every turn, i.e., Holy.
In the booklet, Know Your Bible, it summarizes each book in 10 words or less. Genesis is summarized as God chooses a Special People. A special people are not an equal people.
To this, another poster invoked Godwin's Law by asking if a certain German leader believed in equality. The question is irrelevant. Romans 1:30 informs us they invent ways of doing evil, by going too far to the Left or Right of the narrow path. The Bible is clear, while we are equal in the body of Christ, we are not all a mouth or foot. See 1 Corinthians 12:15-26.
The angle of attack by the enemy is clear. On the political front, Leftism via Cultural Marxism is attempting to indoctrinate everyone to accept 'equality' as a public good and shame anyone who disagrees by calling them <INSERT INSULTING SLANDER HERE>. The paradox is they deny White is a color. This is because Cultural Marxism must have an oppressor group and an oppressed group.
So, while we are supposedly all equal, by 'people of color', they most assuredly exclude White as a color. White people are non-people in Cultural Marxism, dehumanized people. The absurdity of the false doctrine of equality is further seen in the contradiction that we are to value diversity, while simultaneously proclaiming our equality. Leftism is full of contradictions.
In the other thread, complementarianism was proposed as a counterpoint to false claims of equality. The point though is to identify evil in all its forms. With freedom comes inequality. We freely make different choices, which naturally lead to different outcomes and consequences. To deny the existence of inequality, to deny the moral validity that flows from people making different choices is to suppress discernment. I am convinced this pathway of evil, this suppression of the proper identification of reality and suppression of morality - that not all choices are equal - lead to an inevitable outcome. A society that has lost the capacity of discernment, ultimately no longer able to discern right from wrong, good from evil. Such a society is easy pickings for Satan. Thoughts?
