new covenant
New mediator
New means of salvation
Not biblical. Yes it's a new covenant, but Jesus has always been our only savior. No one was saved any other way. In the Old testament it was through believing in the promise that was revealed to them of the messiah. For those earlier it was through faith also. Read Hebrews 11... the whole thing.

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved."

Notice the verse you listed, carefully.

"""19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,.............baptizing""""

See the "make disciples"? See that part?
You make a disciple when they are born again, because you led them to Christ.
That is how you "make a disciple"..

After this happens........you water baptize the "disciple".

make disciples by baptism Jn 4:1

Conversion requires obedience - surrender. .

Conversion requires....>"Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God".

Conversion requires : The Gospel being given and HEARD.... while the Holy Spirit draws and convicts the heart of the HEARER, and the person recognizes their lost condition (that is the Holy Spirit enlightening them).... and they receive the offer of the Grace of God, which is Salvation.
Salvation is not something you do, its something you RECEIVE.
Its a GIFT.
"the GIFT of Salvation"...its FREE.

Now, think of this, Breadoflife...

Put Jesus back into Heaven. There is no Cross.

Now, water baptize yourself 345 times in whatever name you want to use...>Peter, Zeus, Mohammed, Micheal Jordan, Abraham, Adam, Jude, Madonna...
So, are you wet?
Yes you are, as 345 dunks is certainly going to make you wet.
And what else are you after 345 Water Baptisms?
You're still going to hell like a bullet, once you die.
And why? Because that Water can't save a lost camel..

Now, bring Jesus down.
He dies on the Tree, He is Resurrected.
So....does that water suddenly change?
ONLY in WATER CULT THEOLOGY, which is a "doctrine of devils".

See it yet?

Let me help you with just a small amount of bible exegesis.
Here it is..
Dont just live in one verse, as you are doing all your theological life.
See, that is what has happened to you.
You live in one verse, trying to make the entire New Testament, your one verse.
All water cults are victim's of this same spiritual blindness.

Here is how to recover yourself.....well, you can try.

Go to all of Paul's epistles....thats the other 73% of the NT that does not list water baptism as necessary.
See, you have to let go of PETER, as Peter is not your "Gentile Apostle".
He's a kinda dumb fisherman, who rejected Christ then repented, and finally when he was old, he told us that Paul's letters are equal to the Torah.
So, You have to go with Paul, so that you find the correct doctrine that sustains and explains the RULES for the "time of the Gentiles".

Start with this verse, and then read the Epistle. "Christ sent me not to baptize".
Start there. That's Paul talking to you.
Thanks for exposing your dihonesty again - because I've already explained this to you ad nauseam.

In 1 Cor. 1:17, Paul was using HYPERBOLIC language. Anybody with a rudimentary, 2nd grade knowledge of Scripture can plainly see this.
Allow me to educate you . . .

In the verses PRIOR to this - Paul is rebuking the Corinthian Church for exactly what you Protestants did 1500 years later:
Causing FACTIONS within the Body of christ.

Some were "followers" of Paul, some of Cephas (Peter), some of Apollos - and so on. Paul is telling them that it is CHRIST who is to be the focus of their faith and NOT the men who baptized themn. THEN, he make hisa first hyperbolic statement:

1 Cor. 1:14-15
"I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, so that no one may say that you were baptized in my name.

GET it?? He doesn't want ANY credit for their faith.
That's when he makes the statement that he was NOT sent to Baptize, but to preach the Gospel - so they wouldn't follow HIM, but Christ.

Just as factions had a negative effect on the Church at Corinth - so Ptotestantism has with its tens of thousads of perpetually-splintering factions who ALL teach different doctrines based on the Biblical understandings of the LEADERS of those denominations.

You dont ask questions..
You just post random ideas, using Catholic terminology, that is not found in a Bible.

There is no such thing as "sacramental life'.

THis word "sacraments" is a man made word. Its not a bible word.
Typically its a water cult theology word.

Also, Ez 36, is God Talking.
God is in Heaven, so how can he put water on you ?

So, this water in the verse, is not the city water supply....but its the word that does the washing, its Jesus the Living WATER, HIMSELF< who does the "washing"

You verse says you are cleansed from IDOLS.
Those are in your HEART.
SO, the city water supply can't wash your heart clean from ANYTHING,.....including Idol worship.

i made a new thread on Mary you did not respond
Sacrament from the dictionary means an oath or sacred oath or promise
The promise of the father is the sacraments

God baptizes with water thru his church
Jn 3:22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.

Jn 4:1 When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,

2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)

See thru the church
He is already delegating to his church

Paul said that Christ sent him "not to baptize".
Why did he say that?
Its because he's teaching the Gospel of the Grace of God.
This is "justification by Faith".
Water is never involved in Salvation.
Not in the OT or in the NT.

Jehovah's Witnesses, of which is your theology, breadoflife, teach it differently.
They teach it exactly as you are teaching it. They make the Cross all about the Water, and that denies it, and replaces it.
That's your theology, that you teach, everyday.
Here let me show it to you.

Jehovah's Witness Theology. .. as you teach it...

"Baptism in water has several purposes. It is for the remission of sins, for membership in the Church, and for entrance into the kingdom of God."""

Sacraments is not from the dictionary.
Its from the Catholic Church, and its listed in the Dictionary.

Also, notice that Jesus didn't water baptize, and he sent Paul who said.>"Christ sent me not to baptize".

It really very simple.
Water, has no part in Salvation.
It never did, and it never will.

WRONG.
That's NOT what those verses say - so stop perverting God's Word.

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God - and notice it doesn't say by READING the Word.

"Comes by hearing" is a LOT different than saying "You are born again by hearing". We hear the Word of God and come to belief. that is the INITIAL Grace to believe. THEN, we respond to that belief with obedience - and THAT is conversion.
Otherwise, you're NO better off than the Demons (James 2:19), who ALSO believe . . .

Finally - WHY would I get Baptized 345 times - or TEN times - or even TWICE??
ONE Lord, one faith, ONE BAPTISM, ONE God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all (Eph. 4:5-6).

STUDY the Word . . .

Not what he and the Bible say Mk 16:16
Mark 16:16, NIV: "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."
Mark 16:16, ESV: "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be
condemned."
The last half of this verse states that lack of belief is all that is necessary to not be saved.

Other passages affirm that belief alone is necessary for salvation (John 3:18; 5:24; 12:44–50; 20:31; Romans 10:9; 1 John 5:13).
Also:
The entire section of Mark 16:9–20 is not found in the earliest, most reliable manuscripts.

Baptism is found in proximity with belief in Christ in the New Testament because of the culture. In the time of the early church, if someone joined a particular sect of Judaism they would publicly declare their allegiance with baptism.

Baptism is not a requirement for salvation, it's a response to salvation.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is what we receive at the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit dwells within us permanently, marking us as saved by Christ (Mark 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Ephesians 1:13–14).

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God -

My post said faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. This is Romans 10:17.

Now think ....... You have to hear a message to have faith in it or reject it.

Im an Evangelist, i preach THE WORD, and when its HEARD and mixed with FAITH, the person becomes born again, though the Holy Spirit.....not by water.

The message is the Gospel...

You have to hear it, to believe it.

"faith COMES.........by hearing..........

hearing what?

"the word of God"..
