Just as people like to falsely represent and describe others by saying "We," is it also false to claim we "Let" God save us?

The words "We" and "Let" bounce around in the chit-chat Theology of a lot of Christians. But, no place in Scripture has non Apostles or non Prophets chatting about "Letting" God do anything.

God confers Spiritual Rebirth only upon those prove themselves to have become desperate and helpless, without any personal resources for life. Salvation through Christ is not:

1.) A convenient option.
2.) An addition to our life to gain improvement.
3.) Something to just try out and see.
5.) Something to "pick and choose" whenever we might feel like it.
6.) Something which requires our planning to undertake.
7.) To be influenced by our friends' ideas.

And on the other end of the spectrum, to the fearful salvation is so that Jesus can give us fire insurance.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." The greatest gift of all is the gift of salvation, given out of the greatest love of all, by the greatest person of all, namely God. ... Faith is the gift we receive from God

Many people have criticized Christianity and believers in Jesus Christ as being too narrow-minded because we preach that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. They point to the numerous other religions of the world and say, "How can your way be the only way?"

One of the answers to this question is that Jesus himself declared that He was, in fact, God in the flesh.

I and the Father are one. (John 10:30, NASB)

He who has seen Me has seen the Father… (John 14:9b, NASB)
