All of these spirits seek nothing more than to do this to the church, literally to squeeze the life out of it. They are the tares among the field of wheat, and they are everywhere, in every church.
I think the tares in Jesus' parable were people, same as the wheat.

Much love!

That's right, we've both said, not possessed. You said God's children can be "controlled" by demons. I don't think that is correct. I don't see Jesus handing control of me over to demons.

If you live in sin, you are controlled by sin, correct? it is not Jesus handing control over to demons, it is the children not giving full control to God that is the problem, they remain serving two masters. The Problem is not in God it is in men, and man's weakness. Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you as James puts it.

The tares are the planting of the adversary, the devil. The enemy that sowed them is the devil; (Matthew 13:39).

Are you stronger than He?

He is never weary, and He will not let you go!

He does not force submission, he wants us to willfully submit, In so doing, we can willfully go against his will, Not yield to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives The result of this is an unfruitful life.

A Nicolaitan dialectic is a means of manipulation used by leaders in a society or social construct to keep the People in their subservient and dependent position on their leadership. It is based on Circular reasoning and is prevalent in all Worldly institutions, whether they be secular or religious. The circular reasoning they use goes something like this....

We (The leaders) have been granted power, we have set up this institution for you to be a part of This institution is founded by authorized Powers that cannot be questioned. You must belong to this institution or you are not one of us.

Before you dismiss this Post, We as Christians should not be involved in this for we are not of this world. We are not to be called rabbi, but we are all brethren and sisters with Christ and Co Heirs with Jesus by adoption, He is the head of the church, not human institutions. If you can grasp this you will free yourself from a lot of burdens the religious spirit puts you under.

Are you trapped in a Nicolaitan dialectic, lost in a circle of circular reasoning?

We see the sin of the Nicolaitans differently. I associate it with 1 John 4:1-3. It was a Gnostic sect started by a man named Nicolas, and has nothing to do with taking the word apart to create "power over the laity."

I see them all as part of the mystery of iniquity, they are all related to one another. The Gnostics were gnostics, the Nicolaitans were followed Nicolas, the cult of Jezebel, the synogogue of Satan, they are all the same thing with a different face, The Mystery of iniquity at work infiltrating the church.

Jezebel came later. That was the Babylonian mystery religion. The real Jezebel was a high priestess of that religion. Each country had their own goddess and godchild, like Venus and Cupid as one pairing. When paganism became outlawed, to help transition the pagans into the Church, they made a new goddess and godchild to worship, Mary and Jesus. That is what started the veneration of Mary and all the "holy traditions" about her. And Satan is behind all the apparitions of her through the centuries to focus on the goddess, not the child.

Not saying your wrong, but they are all related They all have to do with infiltration into the church by the tares, which began with the early church, Nicolaitanism being the early form of this, if you read the seven letters you can see this infiltration progress, and indeed the jezebel doctrines come later on, as paganism becomes tolerated. I Place them all under the banner of the mystery of iniquity at work, which progresses and grows in the church, alongside the wheat (The true believers in Christ)
