As a woman i can understand the wanting to have a choice thing, but who are we to play god with with a human life. If God did not have a reason for bringing that life into being he would not have created it in the first place. Whose to say that child wouldn't have grown up to be the scientist to cure cancer or something equally important. Im all about choices but life and death should be left to gods hands alone.Khrystyanalee

The answer to this, after my studies, is a firm 'NO' to abortions.Jeremiah 1:5Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.I Corinthians 3:16Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. There are many other passages throughout the Bible, but I think these drive home the overall message of the Bible on abortion.

While those who support abortion make many excuses, the #1 reason for having an abortion is to get rid of an unwanted baby concieved during fornication. Abortion or no abortion should give way to the #1 preventable means. Obey Pauls warning when he wrote "Stay away from sexual immorality. For every other sin you commit defiles you from the outside. Sexual immorality defiles you from the inside". The goal should not be to outlaw abortions and force abortion clinics to close. The goal should be through Church dsicipline, people obeying God's command to the extent where abortion clinics close due to lack of demand for their services.

Exactly. Well said Bernie. That's what gets me most about abortions. The majority of the cases are because a "mistake" was made and the would-be parents don't want to take responsibility for their actions.Genesis 25:23 And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the youngerPsalms 22:9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.Psalms 22:10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
