"To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

18 And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:"

How merciful is it to smote great kings and "slew" famous kings? I'd say about as merciful as giving rebels the chance to depart from him for eternity!
Slaying Kings is right there with Burning Billions for Eternity.
Right.
More absurd thinking from the NCC- Nominal Christian Community.

I must admit, as a hard-core Universalist, which no doubt will be banned here for the 5th time, I'm relishing and reveling in this perfect OP Damnationist Slam!! - exposing the guts of the demonic hypocrisy of 'eternal damnation'.

I say your hypocrisy knows no bounds if you don't face Matthew 25:46 head on and tell us how that verse can be true and the UR true at the same time!

Talk about guts, it's apparent you have none!

Your eyes are blinking harder than a bull-frog in a West Texas Hailstorm when asked to simply translate Kolasin Aionion in Matthew 25:46. Never seen anyone do the AvoiDANCE faster than you.

You also did not address the simple question of All Things in Romans 11:36.
I've not even started.

You're of the type in Luke 9:55 when Jesus said, Ye know not what spirit you are of.

How many have you witnessed to this week to help save from ENDLESS TORTURE - how about last month last year, your whole existence? Not holding my breath for an honest answer.

To make it clearer, Matthew 25:46 says,

Mat 25:46, And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Here, "everlasting" and "eternal" are the same Greek word.

So, the question is, if the punishment is not everlasting, how is life eternal?

Because if the term everlasting refers to a limited period of time, then the term eternal also refers to a limited period of time...

So, the question I would ask is, what happens to us when eternal life ends?

That's the question I've used for years, and none of them can answer it because it proves their damnable heresy!

Yes, I picked it up from your posts.

I just felt that you didn't make it clear enough what your argument was.

Any person who reads the Bible even casually will pick up on the theme clearly contained therein regarding the penalty of unrepentant sinners:

Eternal Damnation!

It’s quite absurd to put forth God’s never ending mercy as proof that eternal damnation does not exist.

But sectarians always go to the “Greek” to twist scripture.

Yes or No?

Matthew 5:37 Let your Yea, be Yea, and your Nay be Nay, everything else is evil.

Should Psalm 136 add verse 27? -
"Give thanks to the Lord, who torments billions for eternity, whose mercy endures forever" ????

Psalm
136
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.

6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.

7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:

8 The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:

9 The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.

10 To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever:

11 And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever:

12 With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.

13 To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:

14 And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever:

15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever.

16 To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever.

17 To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

18 And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

19 Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever:

20 And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy endureth for ever:

21 And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy endureth for ever:

22 Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever.

23 Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:

24 And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.

25 Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.

26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

"Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?” - Genesis 18:25

Romans chapter 3:

9What then? Are we Jews any better off? No, not at all. For we have already charged that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under sin, 10as it is written:

“None is righteous, no, not one;
11no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
12All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one.”
13“Their throat is an open grave;
they use their tongues to deceive.”
“The venom of asps is under their lips.”
14“Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness.”
15“Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16in their paths are ruin and misery,
17and the way of peace they have not known.”
18“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"

Romans 9:

14What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means! 15For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. 17For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.
19You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?” 20But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” 21Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? 22What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory— 24even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles? 25As indeed he says in Hosea,
“Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’
and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’”
26“And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’
there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’”
27And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved, 28for the Lord will carry out his sentence upon the earth fully and without delay.” 29And as Isaiah predicted,
“If the Lord of hosts had not left us offspring,
we would have been like Sodom
and become like Gomorrah.”
30What shall we say, then? That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith; 31but that Israel who pursued a law that would lead to righteousness did not succeed in reaching that law. 32Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone, 33as it is written,
“Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense;
and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”

Daniel 4:

34At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored Him Who lives forever,
for His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
and His kingdom endures from generation to generation;
35all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing,
and He does according to his will among the host of heaven
and among the inhabitants of the earth;
and none can stay His hand
or say to Him, “What have you done?

Psalm 135:

For I know that the Lord is great,
and that our Lord is above all gods.
6Whatever the Lord pleases, he does,
in heaven and on earth,
in the seas and all deeps.

Deuteronomy 32:4

“The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and just is He."

Wait I'm still just interested in the verse. Do you have a take on "everything else is evil." ?

Hi HP,
Since your opening post does require an answer, we must go back to the source of our creation/beginning, of which causes our understanding and misunderstanding as well.
What I mean is, if one is standing in the middle of an outlined circle blindfolded, having a radius of 20 feet, and is told that truth shall ONLY be found at the 184th degree, one will immediately realize that one degree of mistep towards the 184th degree mark, shall prove you to be off target already and falling into complete and total error.

Therefore, in the beginning of our Creation, it is imperative that we understand which is truth and which is error, about what the word "soul" means and consists of. If we don't, then the end product of our thoughts, using the analogy of a circle of 360 degrees, will always result in an error of 359 to 1.

So then, after reading all the arguments of this thread, I have two questions for you, as well as anyone else who cares to answer-
When Adam was created by both God the Father and God the Son,
1. Did Adam become a living soul,
or did he receive a living soul?
2. When, if ever, was Adam eternal?
