What passage are you referring to.
The New Testament, says "all things", about 150 times, in almost as many circumstances.

Three great passages.
--------------------------------------------------
Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Here it helps to look at the two previous verses........
Philippians 4:11-12
V.11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, [therewith] to be content.
V.12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

When V.13 says that “I can”(we as Christians can), do all things, it’s talking about “enduring all things”.
If a Christian totally commits their life to Christ and His Word, he will grow in the Spirit, to a point where he will be able to endure anything, and stay walking close to the Lord.

If tomorrow they lose all of their money: Some people might feel like giving up, but a Spiritually strong Christian will say “big deal, I still have Christ”
Or if tomorrow, you are given 10 million dollars: Some people would go off the deep end and destroy their lives with excess and sin, while a Spiritually strong Christian would say “praise the Lord”: “Lord what do you want me to do with your money?”
--------------------------------------------------
Romans 8:32
“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”

This is telling us, that if you are a Christian, than the Lord will make sure that you always have everything you need........
Matthew 6:31-33
V.31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
V.32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
V.33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Along with salvation, God gives us all the things that we need in life for contentment and happiness.
Although if we are not committed to Christ, and are seeing this world through the eyes of the flesh, instead of the eyes of faith, we will not be happy or content.
(Satan will make sure of that.)

But if we trust our lives, in the Lord’s hands, he will always take care of us.
1 Peter 5:6-7
V.6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
V.7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

--------------------------------------------------
1 Corinthians 3:21
“Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;”

This is talking about Spiritual understanding.
Don’t glory in the words of any man:(Don’t base your life on what some man says about the Bible or the Lord, but study the Word for yourself, to get the truth:)!

I have often told Christians, that if they are reading a Bible commentary, to not be surprised if they come to a part or section where their interpretation disagrees with that of the commentator’s.
Every Christian has the Holy Spirit, therefore if we take the time to study the Bible, we might learn things that even great Spiritual men of the past may have missed.......
Proverbs 25:2
“[It is] the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings [is] to search out a matter.”

Thank you Bigape for all those wonderful verses.

Well, it is a common statement of mine when someone says, " I ache all over",
for me to return with, " All is only all when it's Biblical."
Then, I find out their big toe doesn't hurt at all. (I'm in health care.)

All means all, gregg, you know I believe that, you just want some free inspiration, I know you too well. :p

Romans 8:32 is my favorite verse and I often recite it to people...you should hear the passion in my voice when I stress
"all things" All really does mean all and things really does mean tangible objects - all tangible, real, worldly objects with be provided
to you and in this sentence Paul uses crystalline logic ---"...how could he NOT, graciously, give us all things."

Oh, I see, you wanted to pump US up by proclaiming our deep abiding faith to you. You trickster.
Because there is no way after declaring/ confessing God's Truth we could be anything but filled with confident faith helping
us renew our minds.

Now do you want me to tell you what I believe about not worryng or being anxious about nothing or giving Him my burdens?

Ha!
Much love to you, greggie.

My reply-Mrss Hepburn and bigape have great insight of all things-weather it relates to spiritual or earthly all is all fleshly or heavenly all is all weather this world or the one to come all is ours and we are Christ. A lot of christin have put limits on Gods desire for them and i would like them to know that God truely loves them and would like to set them free, not just from sin but from ALL things that may hinder thier walk with him. Gods desire for us is to grow not struggle or just get by in this world but to be more than conquerors in ALL that we set out to do.Jesus showed us the way. and its up to us to follow. and set a exsample. What exsample do people see in us that would cause them to seek ALL in Christ? Out of the abundance of the hearth??????

I would say that the all includes everything, but we must remember that God does not lie, so if He has said something else previously that would contradict this, to the extent that it would contradict, there are limitations. Consider Ps 78:41 [ KJV =."Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel"]. God was limited because He had given people the ability to disobey God. God would not force them to obey Him so if they refuse then God was limited.

We can do all things that God is able to do through us and, which we also believe that we are able to do. If we don't really believe it, then it is not going to happen. This is why this man Mk 9:24 called out to Jesus for help!

I believe the context supports and the text says... ALL things, literally.

If it's God's will and Christ is backing you in order to do it I don't even see how rebuking and calming a storm is beyond the scope of the text, here.

'All things' is always qualified by the context in which it's found. Philippians 4:13 is no exception.

Php 4:10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity.
Php 4:11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.
Php 4:12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.
Php 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

'All things' refers back to verse 12 and means that Paul, as Puritan Matthew Poole puts it, could by the Lord’s help use well both prosperity and adversity: or, all those things the Lord called him to and put upon him. In other words, Paul could face in a Godly fashion whatever God called him to face.
