Wrong!

JOhn 3:16 is a simple statement of fact. It does not say who or how or why one believes. Jesus is simply stating that whoever ( as opposed to producing an exhaustive list) will be saved! He uses "whosoever" as opposed to specific names.

People go from being unsaved to saved.

No one can come to Jesus unless He draws them.

That is what I believe! But the elect are the elect from before the world was created!

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Well I guess you hold to the Armenian flower then. A daisy!

He loves, He loves me not , He loves me...........

Romans 8

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I have no problem here at all! But are you saying all humanity is saved? I don't believe that of you!

It simply is a simple statement. Whoever believes gets saved! It does not say how they get saved, how they come to believe, why they come to believe or free will or predestination or anything else soteriologically. It is a simple statement of fact!

Jesus died for the entire human race, but only those who "repent and believe" (Mark 1:15; Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38), will be saved.

And I have no problem with any of this!

Just like I have no problem with the elct being the elect from before the world was created! or this verse either:

John 3:36
King James Version

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

god loves the Word but His wrath is already abiding on the unbeliever.

I also accept God knows all who will be saved before He created the Universe! As Eph. 1 tells us

Any "Gospel" Message that does not include REPENTANCE and FAITH, is a FALSE "gospel", and will not save any sinner.

Better tell Paul ! Paul’s Gospel That he said would Save you if you simply Believed it dies not mention the word “Repentance”
There is a good reason for that ( the Gospel Of John that we often send Newbies to in order to find Salvation, does not even “ contain” the word, ”Repentance”..... don’t you find that Odd? ) To Repent means to change your mind , if you did not believe in the Gospel Of Grace That Paul preached at one time in your life and then later “ changed your mind” , changed your Direction, Turned to God with Faith in the Gospel That you previously had no use for etc......you have already DONE all the “ Repenting” That you need to do....
Nowhere in the KJV does it say “ repent of SINS in order to be Saved”......One must REPENT in order to be Saved—- that much is Certain—- But Repenting, in terms of Salvation, means “ Turning to God”...... nobody can stop sinning, if that is what you think “ repenting” means , but ANYBODY can “ Turn to God”..... that is why God said,”Turn to Me and I will Turn to you”.....THAT is a Promise Of God that will get you Saved.....
Even if one “ could” stop Sinning ( and they can’t) it would be a waste of time .....it would make you a doer Of The Law , which sounds great to “ itchy ears” But “By The Deeds Of The Law— NO Flesh will be Justified”
I want to be “Justified” —- how about you? Abraham simply “Believed God “ and found Justification .....so did the Sinful Tax Collector That simply cried out, “Lord have Mercy on me ,a Sinner” .....Jesus said that man got “Justified” ..... I’ll do what he did......cry out to God.....TURN to Him! In other words....I will “REPENT”.....

To buckle down and do our best to try to do better when it comes to our law-keeping, in attempting to do better at keeping the set of do's and don'ts that is set before us in the law, is not the answer..

According to “your” false Gospel ,what we “ REALLY” need to do is “ Buckle Down” and “ do our best” to make Sure we Repent of all of our sins before we die, lest we be damned. You kinda left that part of your False Gospel out, didn’t you..... it’s not the first time you “ forgot”...... thank goodness I am here to remind you...I know it’s getting “ old”, but I don’t care.....

you have the cart before the horse! Jesus Himself very clearly says in Luke 24:47, that the Gospel is, "and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem."

Which is exactly what the Apostle Peter says to those who were convicted by his preaching on the Day of Pentecost

"Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:37-38)

Note, these first repented of their sins, and only then they received the Gift of the Holy Spirit, Who is the Seal of their salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14)

Nobody said” Repent Of your Sins”
These Jews had just murdered their Messiah....Peter might have been saying to repent of THAT terrible sin and start Believing in Him—- “ Change your mind” ( Metanoia or repent ) from Unbelief in the One you murdered to “Belief” in the One you murdered.....THAT would be a “ repentance” that would actually Save....

I believe that the Lord can give me His unadulterated message in the English language through the power of the Holy Spirit; who also was at work when they translated the kjv.

So, there is no need to go back to the original languages to get the truth.

As a matter of fact, if you study the languages and become an educated Greek or Hebrew scholar, you are more likely to become like the educated scribes and Pharisees who rejected Jesus while the common people heard Him gladly.

Some confused, poorly taught people act as if Ignorance “were a Virtue”.... God , on the other hand , wants us to study Diligently and PROVE ourselves to be Good Students.....able to “ rightly divide” His Word

My faith is not in myself but in the power of the Holy Ghost.

Your “ Faith” is in a Work.....Your True Faith is NOT in Trusting in The Blood Of Jesus to Save you....YOUR “ Faith” is in a Super Memory and a last second of Good Luck so you have the Fortunate timing to Repent Of all of your sins right before you die ( lest we be Damned! Right? )

There is a good reason for that ( the Gospel Of John that we often send Newbies to in order to find Salvation, does not even “ contain” the word, ”Repentance”..... don’t you find that Odd? )

John relates the idea of repentance in his gospel in a roundabout way...however the concept of repentance is there in his gospel.

He teaches that sin is something that people seek in order to be satisified...and that if anyone comes to Christ, they will be satisfied by the Holy Spirit (John 6:35, John 4:13-14, John 7:37-39).

He teaches that if you continue in His word, you are His disciples indeed...and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free indeed (John 8:31-36).

Free indeed, from what?

From committing sin (John 8:34).

Nowhere in the KJV does it say “ repent of SINS in order to be Saved”....

I will give you the short version (you can look up the context on your own time, in Ezekiel 33:11-20)...

Eze 33:19, But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.

Does this not translate into the concept that if we repent of sins, we will be saved?

ut ANYBODY can “ Turn to God”..... that is why God said,”Turn to Me and I will Turn to you”.....THAT is a Promise Of God that will get you Saved...

Yes, and God is holy....so, turning to God means to turn to holiness and thus away from unholiness (sin).

Even if one “ could” stop Sinning ( and they can’t) it would be a waste of time .....it would make you a doer Of The Law , which sounds great to “ itchy ears” But “By The Deeds Of The Law— NO Flesh will be Justified”

The doers of the law shall be justified (Romans 2:13).

Now, the underlying reason for justification is faith in Christ, by whom we receive the Holy Spirit (Galatians 3:14). And through the Spirit we bear the fruit of the Spirit; against which there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23). There is no law that will condemn a man who bears the fruit of the Holy Spirit...in bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit we become law-abiding citizens of the kingdom of heaven. If we walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit, the righteousness of the law will be fulfilled in us (Romans 8:4).

So then, being justified by faith in Christ will result in a man becoming a doer of the law (again, Romans 2:13)...and on the day of judgment, where men will be judged by their works, the fact that they were doers of the law will testify to the fact that they were justified in life by faith in Christ.

Your “ Faith” is in a Work.....Your True Faith is NOT in Trusting in The Blood Of Jesus to Save you....YOUR “ Faith” is in a Super Memory

Speak for yourself. My trust is in the blood of Jesus; which does not only justify me (as per Romans 5:9)...it also sanctifies me (Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29) and cleanses me from all sin (1 John 1:7).

And my faith is not in super memory, as I have also answered this accusation before, which you continue to bring against me even though it has been answered...

In my walking in the light as He is in the light, the Holy Spirit is able to pinpoint those sins that He wants to deal with in my heart and life; and as I confess those sins, He is faithful and just to forgive me of those sins and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. So it has nothing to do with "Super-Memory" but with a relationship with the Holy Spirit.

and a last second of Good Luck so you have the Fortunate timing to Repent Of all of your sins right before you die ( lest we be Damned! Right? )

I will have repented of all of my sins long before I die...and will continue to walk in the new direction to the end of my days. We do not have to fall back into a lifestyle of sinning (see Jude 1:24, 2 Peter 1:10, 1 John 2:10).

You presume to say what is in my gospel when you do not understand my gospel.

I will say, in response to your accusation, that repenting of sins has nothing to so with "buckling down" and "attempting to obey a set of do's and don'ts" but with surrendering your heart to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Why do you fight against such a doctrine as this?

2 Cor 7:10, "For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death."

Luke 24:47, "and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem"

Acts 2:37-38, "Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

Acts 3:19, "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out"

Mark 1:4-5, "John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. Then all the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins."

Luke 18:13, "But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’"

Luke 10:13, "“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes."

YOUR "gospel" is a FALSE one that CANNOT save anyone!
