No, you did because in this discussion I asked for that clarification that we all be on the same page. And the reply was that he was flesh and bone.
.
And I quoted Scripture. Why is that a problem for you?
Luke 24:39 (NKJV)
39 Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have."

Matthew 21:12
Then Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling doves.

Mark 11:15
When they arrived in Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began to drive out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling doves.

Luke 19:45
Then Jesus entered the temple courts and began to drive out those who were selling there.

John 2:15
So He made a whip out of cords and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle. He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.

John 2:16
To those selling doves He said, "Get these out of here! How dare you turn My Father's house into a marketplace!"

But Jesus would not do that because the world keeps telling us that we are not to judge because Jesus did not judge. In fact so many people in the world say that I wonder if their favourite pet is a parrot.

Now you're admitting it wasn't me that said Jesus was flesh and bone but you.
I'm quoting Jesus. What are you quoting?
Luke 24:39 (NKJV)

Yes, he is holy spirit now. John 1:1. He is not flesh in any way because the perishable cannot inherit the imperishable.
John 1:14, 2Corinthians 4:6, Hebrews 1:3
It doesn't say he is Spirit now. I don't know of anywhere that says he doesn't still exist in bodily form.

God gives life. Women's bodies bring life into the world from their womb.

You cannot even give men any credit for procreation! As if men are merely a passive catalyst.

God created life from nothing but males give life from life. Women give birth to the life the men placed into their womb. It is men who do the action and women who are acted upon.

Sperm is nothing without her egg.

LOL Sperm is everything with his egg. That is, one claims the egg and life is given anew.

I don't believe the majority of women hate men

My intent in starting this thread was not to pit men against women but to honor the masculine Jesus in a society that is feminized and hates men. In college campuses across the country, they actually have seminars on toxic masculinity. The hatefulness would instantly be recognized if ONE college had a seminar on toxic femininity.

Also, this shows feminists commitment to equality is a talking point only. The hate for men has escalated from there, advocating it is masculinity, itself that is the problem.

I've found that Jesus is either good to me, or good for me, which, in actuality, are one and the same. :)

sometimes I have a critical spirit. Do you think a critical spirit is of God?
The Bible says we shall judge all things righteously , when you do that, some people will classify you as critical. So, I think it depends how you are critical, it should be building up and for the good, not for tearing down. I find myself critical at times as well. I think Jesus was critical.

Women are the fertile field, men plant the seed.
Hi @CoreIssue,

The seed is in the Mother, and the Father fertilizes it. The Father also determines the sex of the child born.

'And the LORD God said unto the serpent,
Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle,
and above every beast of the field;
upon thy belly shalt thou go,
and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman,
and between thy seed and her seed;
it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.'

(Gen 3:14)

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

@Truman the Levite Did you accomplish what you set out to do yesterday ?? How was the protest ??
Good. Many hundreds turned out downtown.
I stood by the street, singing, playing my guitar, worshipping God, knowing He inhabits our praises.
Being a God-commissioned worship leader, I know His presence comes when I praise Him around others.
It is what I have to offer.
There were many other followers of Yeshua there, also.
Then my step-son, Caleb, and I, along with two of his friends, spent the afternoon on the beach.
He went swimming, he's a polar bear swimmer, you know, the kind that goes swimming through the ice.
I buried my feet in the sand, as I again ministered in song.
It was one of the best days of my life.

Hello @Wrangler,

I understand why you have introduced this subject, in the light of how males and females are perceived today. God's order is being overturned, and the roles of the male and female questioned and disparaged in many areas of life. However we are to respect one another whatever our gender, and give honour where honour is due.

Men and women each have strengths and weaknesses, and what the one lacks the other can supply, and visa versa. God, as our creator, knows that, and it is reflected in His word. We need to guard ourselves from being influenced by the world and it's ways, and value our male and female qualities, as God given.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus

Hello @Triumph1300,

I read a verse earlier which I found interesting in relation to the judgments we make, and how it contrasts with that of our Lord Himself. For He says in John 8:15-16,

'Ye judge after the flesh;
I judge no man.
And yet if I judge,
my judgment is true:
for I am not alone,
but I and the Father that sent Me.'

We do indeed judge 'after the flesh' don't we, because we are flesh. However as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ we are also 'spirit' and 'walk in the spirit'. The Lord Jesus could say that he ('after the flesh;) judged no man, yet if He were to judge, it would be as One who is in the Father, and acting in accordance with His Father's will.

As those who have been born from above, though flesh and blood, we do not have to judge according to the flesh, for we have the indwelling new nature, and have been taught of God, through the ingrafting of His Word, so our judgement can and should reflect our Father's will in regard to everything shouldn't it? We are no longer victims of our own fleshly nature, we can submit to the will of God, and act and react according to His known will now. Yes?

I hope this makes sense.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

God's order is being overturned, and the roles of the male and female questioned and disparaged in many areas of life. However

There is no ‘however.’

My surrogate son called yesterday. He talked at great length of how his own mother refuses to acknowledge the challenge he faces in light of God's order being overturned and disparaged in today’s society.

The hatred is so severe, we cannot even discuss what masculinity is - unless it is to disparage it. Rather than invoke a ‘however,’ why don’t you follow the question of the OP and provide other verses that showcase the masculinity of Jesus?

Said differently, this thread is not to honor each other (regardless of gender) but to honor the masculinity of Jesus.

Hello @Wrangler

Perhaps you should show a little respect to me too, though a woman. I do not understand your objection to my use of the word, 'however': but it would have been kinder if you could have accepted my comment, without the bold lettered rebuke.

Within the love of Christ our Saviour,
Our Lord and Head.

Well... I'm not a supporter of this rebelling cause... however... this is a beautiful report... How wonderful that you chose to Worship and play music. God Bless the WORSHIPPERS... they indeed do bring forth the Holy Spirit.

What specifically should we do to honor His masculinity? I already give Him all Glory, Honor and Praise...
Are you suggesting there is something more we must do?
