I don’t know. What really stood out is Paul was in travail, suffering and feeling the labour contractions...carrying the burden of delivery in his own body...for life (Christ) to be formed in another. How often do we view the travail of Labour always in relation to (hope of)bearing life in us ...here Paul says he travails in labour to ...bear life in another person.

As if saying: I will travail that you may have life.

Read Gal 4 and not sure the question: consider 1 Corinthians 8:11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? -The body is to carry the burden of the weak. What is the travail Paul experienced until God gives the increase. Does not the body of Christ all travail in labour and birth pangs as long as children of God are being born anew daily?

Well of course I'm supposed to say "yes," which is exactly what now gives me pause. I suspect some clues might be in "travail," I'll be back again. But "why travail of something that is God's area?" nevertheless. Seems self inflicted to me iow

Just in reference to Paul whom walked in the Spirit because can we deny the fruit of the Spirit is there. Often he suffered the little children to come to Christ. In Spirit travailing of those yet (weak)flesh until God gave the increase. Mark 14:38
[38] Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

But maybe it is wrong... I don’t know. the verse of Paul’s travail until Christ was formed in them ...only wanted to share it.

But "why travail of something that is God's area?"

    charity suffers long:1Corinthians 13:7
[7] Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Proof of the unseen. The Spirit can carry the burden. Flesh can’t. Why...the fruits of the unseen which is God.

    1 Corinthians 7:40
[40] But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

On the center one though, "you suffer because..." comes to mind, but imo "charity suffers" means it diff I guess

    Genesis 50:20
[20] But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

“You suffer because...” yes flesh. The charity in Corinthians though: the Spirit of God...the Son...it is different no?

Well, I'm just kind of reflecting on how "charity suffers" seems to essentially = "charity does not suffer," dunno how clear that is tho

1 Corinthians 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

There are two there which seems to be your point maybe...in that long passage. Going off memory but even though I give my body to be burned at the stake it profits noting without charity.

Paul (inspired by the Holy Spirit) takes us through even though I give away all my goods to feed the poor ...without charity. It profits nothing. What is missing? Then he goes on to patient, kind, suffers long, doesn’t seek its own, endures all things, believes all things, hopes all things...which are attitudes of Him. Missing at the first are the works of Him.
