    Baghdad newspapers won't be much better. I reccomend news like The American Thinker, often quoted by Rush Limbaugh, the Weekly Standard, or even the Wall Street Journal. They are the only reliable and accurate reporters on Iraq.

    I wouldn't compare it to the Iron Curtain by any means. Remember that most of these measures are temporary; implemented to curtain the mobility of the insurgencey thus making it easier for patrols to do their job without getting shot or blown up.
