Revelation chapter 20 - Gog and Magog

Yes, all will hear his voice but the context derived from other texts tells us it wont be at the same time. Revelation 20:4 and 20:7 make it clear 1000yrs will transpire between the 1st and 2nd resurrection ie, 'hearing his voice' Those in the 1st resurrection will come forth glorified as was...

Revelation chapter 20 - Gog and Magog

After the 1000yrs (Rev.20:7) Which 1000 yrs I would ask? Rev.20:4 tells us, ' ....and they lived and reigned with Christ 1000yrs' Yes, this is true, however you are assuming these resurrections happen at the same time and together whereas Rev. 20:4 and 20:7 seperate them. Rev. 20:9-15 speaks...

Revelation chapter 20 - Gog and Magog

Here's some background of how I understand what is being spoken of in Rev. 20 regarding 'Gog and Magog' 1. Jesus returns in the clouds where every living eye sees him. God's people (saints) currently await this event. 2. The righteous dead are resurrected and transformed from corruptible to...

Revelation chapter 20 - Gog and Magog

It's a matter of joining the dots well SI. The wicked from all ages are obviously all alive which implies they have been resurrected. Prior to that Satan has been 'chained' to a desolate Earth for 1000 yrs. Now he convinces the uncountable hordes it was through his power they have come back to life.

Knowing the Day and the Hour of the Lord's Coming

In your 'great wisdom' Scott, you have violated the context of, 'no one knows the day or the hour', as you do other scriptures. May the Lord rebuke you.

Revelation chapter 20 - Gog and Magog

The term Gog and Magog represent all the raised wicked (second resurrection) at the end of the millennium. They are the teeming billions throughout history who have made God their enemy.

Did ANYONE In Scripture (Including Jesus), Claim Jesus IS God?

The Jews clearly got the message Jesus was conveying that he was equal with God and they didn't like it. John 5:16-47

Jesus asks us to be humble, not a "born again" snob

I think there is doubt and there is doubt, ie oils ain't oils so to speak. To be assured that one is loved and that Jesus has your back is hope inspiring. To be not sure of this (doubt) makes life hard and joyless. However, to doubt or to hold loosely the various conclusions different ones (even...

Who or What is Babylon the Great? How do God’s people come to be in her?

The misrepresentation of God started way before humans were created. How do we suppose this misrepresentation unfolded to the angels around him? ie, what is it he said about God that misrepresented him?

    Finger pointing and condemnation

We are all practising sinners on some level.....and it behooves us to be aware of it so that the practice of 'marginalising' other sinners doesn't become our M.O.

    Finger pointing and condemnation

Would you like to elaborate? Sinners are sinners. All in Adam die...even babies who have done neither good or bad. God has done something for us for all of us which was no asked for. That's what Paul told the Gentiles....and. some were drawn to their Saviour.

    Finger pointing and condemnation

Just as all are in Adam and have death passed onto all involuntarily, so all are alive in Jesus and have been gifted with life everlasting. 1 Corinthians 15:22 'For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive' Our status in Adam gives us no choice on life, we are predetermined to...

Who or What is Babylon the Great? How do God’s people come to be in her?

Dim wittedness in this case is your insistence on giving answers which don't correspond to the question. It is further escalated by taking any subject and directing it to hell fire and forever burning. You put yourself into the category of incorrigible.
