Eternal Torment Or Annihilation? What Happens To The Wicked

Are you sure that you don't believe that? Who are the Elect? Were they not predestined for life? Which makes everyone else predestined for destruction. Right? [

Observations about the law, the Law, God's law, Christ's law - four different things

I remember vividly as a child (and later in life) an uneasy feeling (in the pit of my stomach) when I was tempted to do wrong. I can't say whether it was programmed or natural. But it seemed natural at the time. [

Observations about the law, the Law, God's law, Christ's law - four different things

But isn't that the extreme case of reprobation? And with the purpose of bringing them back. [

Observations about the law, the Law, God's law, Christ's law - four different things

What do you make of this? Romans 2:14-16 NIV (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law,(A) they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their...

Observations about the law, the Law, God's law, Christ's law - four different things

Was there sin before Torah was given? Yes, obviously. What was that sin a violation of? (God's law) = God-given human conscience. Why was it wrong for Cain to murder his brother? [
  12. St. SteVen

Observations about the law, the Law, God's law, Christ's law - four different things

St. SteVen said: Sin was sin because it was in violation of God's law. (human conscience) That is the Sin I was referring to. Are you saying Sin can be sin without a violation of God's law? (God-given human conscience) [

My agnostic friend says: "I don't need it." - How would you respond?

I don't think the problem for him is with God. The problem for him is with Christians. (present company accepted) It would be like asking him to join the Nazi party. No way! [

Woke woman "pastor" mocks Jesus with unbelievable words

In both of the videos I presented, the child led the way. The Moms weren't "corrupting" them. They were doing their best to respond in love and understanding to what their children were going through. [
  15. St. SteVen

Observations about the law, the Law, God's law, Christ's law - four different things

I think the thing to see here is that the law (Torah law) is different than God's law. Sin was in the world before the law (Torah law) was given. (Romans 5:13-14) Sin was sin because it was in violation of God's law. (human conscience) [

My agnostic friend says: "I don't need it." - How would you respond?

No worries. I support recycling. - LOL [
  17. St. SteVen

My agnostic friend says: "I don't need it." - How would you respond?

That's a great question. What other reasons are there to follow Christ other than "We are incapable of managing our own life." ? [
  18. St. SteVen

    Is Revenge a Sin?

Most readers would answer in the affirmative. Yes, revenge is a sin... for us, but not for God. For us, but not for God? Why? Does God operate at a lower standard than he holds us to? Many would bristle at that question. Why? We are required to love our enemies. Jesus taught this as godly...

Woke woman "pastor" mocks Jesus with unbelievable words

Do you suggest punishing children with gender dysphoria? Glad to hear that you watched the videos earlier. I give you credit for that. Obviously these Moms weren't encouraging their children to the opposite gender. These kids were born that way. My point? What does that church say? - They were...
