    Who Is Jesus?

it could be that, or it could be because many scholars have rendered it according to rule of koine grammar 1808 “and the word was a god” The New Testament, in An Improved Version, Upon the Basis of Archbishop Newcome’s New Translation: With a Corrected Text, London. 1864 “and a god...

    Questions About Christian Salvation

I think you misunderstood. Adam paid his own debt... not ours. Romans 6:23 Jesus paid our debt.... And if our debt is paid, then we should not have to pay it, hence why everlasting life is possible.

    Questions About Christian Salvation

im sure you'd agree that death is a horrible reality. If God intended for us to die, why is so much spoken about eternal life in the scriptures? John 3:16 John 6:40 Romans 6:23 1John 5:13 And why is death going to be done away with? 1Cor 15:26, 55 Isaiah 26:19 Revelation 20:13 Revelation...

    Questions About Christian Salvation

because we can only pay for our own sin with death. I can't pay your debt for you, nor can you pay mine because we both owe the same debt. Death was never a part of Gods purpose for mankind, so to remove death completely, he gave Jesus as a ransom to exchange 'life for life' Jesus could pay...

    Questions About Christian Salvation

Because Gods justice is perfect, he required the equivalent of what had been lost. Adam lost his perfect human life by his sin and that sin created a debt to God...the debt was death. So Adam sinned, and he paid the debt to God through his death. You might think, Great, the debts been paid...

what DOES the Holy Spirit do? confusing.

the holy spirit works in ways that God uses it for. At Genesis 1:2 it states that “God’s “spirit” (Hebrew, ru′ach) was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters.” Here, God’s spirit was his active force, power, working to shape the earth. So we can rightly view the spirit as Gods...

Where Does Denial of Scripture About Hell Originate?

But his allowing it to exist does not mean that he condones it. he advises mankind to act with justice and love...that is what he wants to see. And just because he exacts punishment upon willful rebellious ones does not mean he likes to see people suffer. he will never torment people in a...

Where Does Denial of Scripture About Hell Originate?

it sounds as if you feel God is the cause of mankinds woe's If I or you or someone else commits an evil deed, how can that be Gods fault? Interesting that you use the example of the flood to imply God is cruel somehow....that account highlights the fact that God does not like suffering and...

    Sabbath

Yes, you are absolutely on the right track. Just remember Pauls words: “Let no man judge you in eating and drinking or in respect of a festival or of an observance of the new moon or of a sabbath; for those things are a shadow of the things to come.” Col. 2:16, 17 Jesus is greater then the...

Where Does Denial of Scripture About Hell Originate?

im not playing word games at all. In fact, I'd be much happier if the bible translators translate the original words into what they actually mean rather then something they do not. If I throw a piece of wood onto a fire, that wood will be destroyed eternally...i cant rebuild the wood...

    Sabbath

What was the point of the Sabbath? It was so Isreal could a have a day of worship. A day to remember God and his great works and his promises and to give him praise. A day to do good. But shouldn’t Christians show they believe these things every day of their lives? Should we not remember God...
