The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

If a person was already destined for damnation, hardening them serves no point. They would not respond to God regardless. If one is as destined for salvation, nothing could keep them from responding to God regardless. It only makes sense if all can be saved.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Very confusing but not at all convincing. Being drawn doesn't always end in redemption. You never resist the Spirit?

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

To advance the gospel. They were already hard, so he used that to reach the gentiles. Read Romans.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Oh I disagree! "Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” 29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” Jesus gives the condition before he talks about God giving him certain people. And he repeats it, just in case they missed...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Thanks for proving my point. Why would God have to harden them if some were already chosen for salvation and some for damnation?

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

John 12:32 declares that all men are drawn to Christ. John 16:8-11 we see that the ongoing ministry of the Spirit is to convict the entire world of its sin of unbelief (the suppression of truth cf. Rom. 1:18-32). Titus 2:11 clearly states that God's grace has appeared to all men but from this...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

There is a condition to being raised up on the last day. Belief is that condition. We wouldn't have passages about falling away if it were not possible to fall away. It's weird to me that so many people read "I will raise them up on the last day." as some kind of deal where God just drags us by...

Sadly predictable. I took a shower today. Am I saved again?

I guess abortion would be a blessing if what you believe is true? If you kill the baby before being born, he can't go to hell! This was one of the supposed reasons for infant baptism you know. They thought it saved the baby from hell. My Mom had two kids who didn't live but a few days or weeks...

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. (1 John 2:2 ) And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. -1 John 4:14 In these passages John states that Jesus atoned for the sins of the...

So you already said about four times. I'm just pointing out the illogical nature of your theology. No one can accept Christ unless convicted, correct. Jesus said he would draw all men to himself, Not some men. John 12:32 Truth by known, everyone gets their shot at redemption.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Of course, but no one is forced to submit to God's softening of their heart. Even using the word "Rebellious" insinuates that the person has the opportunity to submit to God, otherwise, what is he rebelling against? Jesus said he would draw all men to himself. Not some men. But not all men...

Oh, the Irony! The funny thing is, we actually agree on this, but, you have a theology that makes this impossible. No one can reject Christ if he is individually chosen before creation to be saved and no one can accept Christ if he isn't chosen in your theology. So, what do you mean by rejecting...

Men, would you have problems being with someone who looks like a Mennonite?

Honestly, I find woman in dresses and conservative attire rather attractive at times. I like the natural look.

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not...

    Where does evil come from...

Sproul was a strict calvinist who said: " Paul leaves nothing outside of the purview of God’s active control. Good and evil, our choice to believe in or reject Christ, the rising and setting of the sun—there is nothing that the Lord does not determine and control." Obviously I disagree with...

    Where does evil come from...

MacArthur is a calvinist. He embraces a contradiction. If God decrees evil he caused it. If he simply allows evil, that's different. Most calvinists try to have it both ways.

What scholar? He planned for it. It's not his decree. Two very different things.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

They all had the opportunity for salvation. Ok, Romans 11main point as far as this discussion: According to Paul,, “the rest” who are not elect and not “chosen” can be saved. In fact, many of them will be saved It is specifically “the rest,” described in detail in the immediately preceding...
