    Calvinism

You never said what you believe Grace to be; you just said what you believe it NOT to be. I canot comment on a definition you didn't give, nor will I give a definition when you haven't done so yourself.

Doesn't matter. You still expected me to answer in less than 12 or so minutes. Do you believe that to be a reasonable amount of time for an answer? You are coming off as a post-bater. You really don't seem like you want a discussion, but just one that wants to argue.

    No. You go first.

    Calvinism

Really? Posts have time stamps. You asked me where did I go and if I was scared away about 12 minutes after posting your questions! My knowledge of the Bible may not be that great, but it takes me a little longer to respond to multiple questions, even if they are rediculous and reaching!

    Calvinism

Yeah, but it doesn't matter to God. It's still a sin. It's still a transgression whether it's willfully or not. Proof? Something still had to die to atone it. Well then what does the death of Jesus have that's more valuable than that of bills and Bullock's? Hebrews 10 explains and...

Willful is not the same as ignorance, by the way...

    Calvinism

Well, Lev 5:15 ain't got a darned thing to do with Grace. If so, then do what that verse says: sacrifice a ram. If you do that, then do you really have Grace? Grace put an end to that. Grace covers past, present and future sins. Otherwise, we are no better off than Judiasm.

    Calvinism

I disagree with you. I am simpathetic, but disagree. Can you point to a sin that really was not "willful"? And if you are going to refer to Hebrews 10:26... Watch out! I will challenge that! I will not condone what Calvin did... I wrestle with it to this day.... I don't know what to think...

    Calvinism

    C. Lady... I accidently pushed the "post" button before I was done! I discussed that in a separate post. Please have a look. I admire him as a theologian, but despise his actions. But if we are to forgive sins... Well, what do we do?

    Calvinism

More... He was absolutely a brilliant scholar of the Bible, and could put many of to shame, even when we have Google and Bible software. He could hold his own without such in this forum without these tools against us who have them. Imagine where he would be if he had a computer! Yet, he...

    Calvinism

I have tons to say about this... I will keep it short:. John Calvin was not a Calvinist! I have read much of his work. He wrote 3 chapters on predestination out of hundreds of topics and literally thousands of chapters on other topics. Today, Calvinism is viewed as, " it doesn't matter what...

    Built on The Wrong Apostle:

Ok... Once again: 2 Corinthians 3:7 KJV But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 2 Corinthians 3:11 KJV For if...

    Built on The Wrong Apostle:

    1. Then you should've included the verses that say the they are written on hearts and minds, and not a portion of Romans 7, which doesn't say that. Don't worry. I know what verses you are referring to. And they aren't going to prove your point either! See... You are getting that from...

    Built on The Wrong Apostle:

Did you read my post, and 2 Corinthians 3? If so, why did you not explain why it said it was done away? I gave my commentary, sure... But I didn't need to... It literally said that which was written on tables of stone was done away with. That's not my interpretation or commentary... That's...

    Built on The Wrong Apostle:

I'm not so sure that is true. Have you read 2 Cor 3? 2 Corinthians 3:3 KJV Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. That which...

Luke's Perspective on Paul's Disobedience of the Holy Spirit

They obeyed what the spirit had them do. That does not mean Paul didn't disobey the spirit, which told him to go. Paul said, "follow me, as I follow Christ". His life and death we're and example that we must give our life up for Christ. No. That's not saying we must be martyred as he was...

Evidence of a great doctrinal apostasy:

Well, I gotta problem H. Richard... I can probably endorse you on these points, but you seem to refuse what Paul said about attending Church. And not that it's a big problem with me (cause I don't care), you call me a pharasee and say I agree with modern Churches, when the fact is I simply...

    The Religious Mind

I approve of what the Bible says. I gave verses every step of the way. I made this point before and will do so again in a slightly different wording: I God included physically attending an assembly with an organized plan, then it is still His plan even if every denomination and independent...

    The Religious Mind

Oh my! I see a lot I disagree with on this forum. Most I just let it go, but this is a topic I will defend as long as I have my being! It depends on what you call a formal religious service and what you consider a church building. But I will prove that God through Paul DID call for formal...

    "Husband of one wife"

No. They (Church remain members canin general, but not deacons and bishops) can remain single. 1 Corinthians 7:6-9 KJV But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment. [7] For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this...
