Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

Okay, I can agree with that. Let me further clarify what I meant. Maybe in regards to submission I am what He wants me to be and I don't need to change.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

I said that I don't agree with it, does that not mean that I don't think it's Biblical? Do I need to say those exact words?

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

It was not meant to be arrogant. It was meant to say maybe I am who He wants me to be in this marriage and that I don't need to change. There is no arrogance in that statement and doesn't state there aren't other things that I do need to change about me.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

That is not what I said. What I said in the beginning of that reply is this, "If it is their choice to marry after I say that they shouldn't, who am I to stop them?" I cannot stop them if they choose to marry after I tell them that they shouldn't. That alone says I don't agree with gay...

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

No, it is not what you have been saying. If it was I would have agreed with that along time ago. What the other poster said isn't t what you said. Unless you haven't explained it too well.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

I quoted exactly what I thought was your opinion.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

If you can not get that from what I said I'm not sure you are actually reading my replies.
  8. Naomanos

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

I can definitely agree with that!

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

You know what they say about assumptions, right? I reject your interpretation of the Bible and your opinions.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

If it is their choice to marry after I say that they shouldn't, who am I to stop them? They made the choice, they get to live with the consequences of that choice.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

Your opinion which I reject. I am inside of scripture and my pastors are fine with our marriage plans. So what you have to say means absolutely nothing!

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

I quoted exactly what I disagree with.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

It is a circular argument and I have chosen to not engage in it. I don't do circular arguments. Believe what you will, but I will not engage other than to say I will agree to disagree.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

Which is your opinion and I disagree with your opinion.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

No. We're creating a circular argument and I do not engage in circular arguments.
  16. Naomanos

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

I will agree to disagree with this reply.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

Since it seems you and I will be going in circles, I will agree to disagree with you from here on out in this thread.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

I have several and I trust them as Gid has called them to lead their church. Maybe you should learn that your interpretation of the Bible might not actually be correct one.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

He also states that those that burn with passion should marry. So, which is it? Or maybe I am exactly who He wants me to be and it is not me who needs to change? My apologies. I can come off kinda cold in my writing at times, and at other times the written word doesn't fully express our...

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

I also reject your replies to me. Yes, I do call them cookie cutter molds and no, not everyone fits into them and yes, God still calls those people to marriage. I will not be this person that you speak of and I will still get married. Myboastors have said there is nothing wrong with the way we...
