This is simply a human pronouncement. You mean obedience to written laws such as "Thou shalt not steal," "Thou shalt not covet," "Thou shalt not kill," etc., is not necessary to "live by faith in what Christ has done for us"? Abstaining from murder, larceny, idolatry, false witness, etc...
