    Calvinism: T = Total Depravity

I've never read Calvin but is a doctrine of total depravity even necessary when scripture calls us all creatures of wrath before we receive Christ? The purpose of "characterization " is discrimination through bias and preconception, not the way of truth. As long as you cling to one teacher or...

Man-kind never set foot on the planetary body known as the 'moon', acc. to Bible (KJB), Hist. & Sci.

When did God ever stop men from sinning? The history of man is the history of sin, violence, and aggression. That's why a savior was always a part of His plan. We all need to be saved. The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God...

Why is only satan bound for 1000 years?

No, but you can validate their opinion by promulgating foolish imaginings over random verses, which is what people are prone to do in these last days. Its nonsensical fantasy doctrines that makes the church a joke to the world instead of priests and ministers but that's exactly what the tares...

Why is only satan bound for 1000 years?

So in other words this thread is total speculation and an exercise in Christian fantasy. That's ok, most of the threads are the same, fantasy derived from pulling a verse or two out of the context of scripture and attempting to make a unique doctrine out of them. Just another sign of the times.

Why is only satan bound for 1000 years?

so you think that the angels mentioned in Jude 1:6 were already judged?

Why is only satan bound for 1000 years?

of course, this is just another fantasy thread

Why is only satan bound for 1000 years?

The OP is erroneous. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; Jude 1:6 you have to read the whole bible to understand any of its books.

Jesus IS God in the flesh!!

Actually, its been my experience that people can twist as little as a single sentence and tend to do even that according to what they imagine very regularly with comments posted on this site. Miscommunication is far more common than true communication and is almost entirely due to misperception...

Jesus IS God in the flesh!!

The "knowledge of God" that saves souls is relational and not derived directly from scripture. The world is full of people that know something of scripture but don't know God at all. If you know Him, you can learn from Him, but the scriptures are the most abused writings in all of human history...

Jesus IS God in the flesh!!

Pretty sure that God is not simple, but His word is. The whole point of scripture is to reveal Him, not to hide Him. The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. Psalm 119:130

Who is Jesus' Father? HS or the Father?

The question implies polytheism. For all intents and purposes Jesus (as God) fathered Himself.

The Mark of the Beast Has Arrived

That's more than a little weird. Luciferase is the enzyme in fire flies that mediates the light producing reaction. How it would be used in a vaccine is a bit mystifying. Are you confident in your source?

The Mark of the Beast Has Arrived

Corona is not a new name for this line of viruses, but has been in use for nearly a century. The word Corona itself is Spanish for "crown" and has been in use for many centuries. You might want to consider that the book of the Revelation was written with the Greek alphabet, not the English.

Could the mark of the beast actually be a literal mark?

You need to understand the "mark" of the law of Moses in order to have a clue about the mark of the beast. 6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by...

Why I believe in the rapture.

I've read it many times and there is no mention of wailing in it, but rather, deliberate attempts to escape the wrath of God, as in the normal "fight or flight" biological imperative to imminent danger. Sorry, 4 years of biological sciences has given me an accurate understanding of emotional...

Why I believe in the rapture.

I'm not sure that I would agree with your understanding of called and chosen, but I couldn't be dogmatic about it. Some people equate "chosen" with "elect" but I'm inclined to believe that the "chosen" are those tasked by God with specific purpose, sanctified as "types" or examples on display...

Why I believe in the rapture.

Sounds reasonable, but "wailing" isn't the typical response to fear. Infants commonly wail after a scare, but typically can't anticipate something frightening and cry afterwards because they don't know what to do with the energy that fear generates. The normal human response to intense fear is a...

Why I believe in the rapture.

Actually, the return of Christ is supposed to be our blessed hope, God Himself is our great reward. That is kind of the point of the communion cup and bread, remembering Him , as a bride waiting for her groom, professing His death and resurrection until He comes. A belief in a rapture expresses...
