Angels are more able to evolve than man, what does that prove? Should we aspire to be like angels? Ruminate with me!

What makes you think that God tolerates sin. Evolution is man attempting to do away with God. Dawkins claims that evolution enables him to be an atheist.

The more benign a mutation, the easier and lighter it is to adapt (selah)

Evolution is an undirected, random series of changes. Metermorphise is a programed change which is not to be confused with evolution. Sorry ' irreducible complexity ' is an argument that shows evolution is impossible.

SHOULD YOU WARM YOUR CAR UP IN THE WINTER

Here in England we don't get the really low temperatures you get, but when you windscreen is covered in frost, I always start the car and set the blower to max and directed to the windscreen. For two reasons. Why ensure the car will start, a habit learnt when younger with temperamental old...

The more benign a mutation, the easier and lighter it is to adapt (selah)

And what is the instrument of change? How does a set of genetic instructions change to be instructions for something different? Remember the means of change is only deletion, bits of an instruction can be remove, knocked out by chemicals or radiation. How does that deletion process create...

Angels are more able to evolve than man, what does that prove? Should we aspire to be like angels? Ruminate with me!

There are two problems. 1 it denies what scripture says. 2. It glorifies man's reasoning over God's word. Who do you believe? God or fallen man.

The right to abort. The right to ask for the aborted to be adopted instead. These are the same thing!

When does life begin? The scientific answer is at conception. So does a mother have the right to take the life of any unwanted child?

A rather rhetorical question for the "Hell is FOREVER" crowd

We are told that there will be weeping and wailing and the gnashing of teeth. I believe it will be because they have seen and realise what they have rejected. WE will all realise that God's judgement of those who hate him is perfectly just. The use of emotive words like ' torture ' only shows a...

At what age are we to condemn people of other religions to hell?

Please re read what I wrote. The context was of what other religions taught.

Jesus said "pray that you are able to escape and to stand before the Son of Man" *have you prayed?*

Here in Luke 21, Jesus is teaching about the end times and his 2nd coming. Elsewhere he taught that it would be a terrible time, which is why he urges us to pray that we will escape what will happen. We are told to expect persecution, something we do not experience and something we should be...

At what age are we to condemn people of other religions to hell?

No one has agreed with this. All posters here have said, 'It is not our job to condemn people, that is Gods responsibility.' Face the brutal reality in every religion. Those who do not believe, do enough good deeds, meet what ever criteria is set are condemned. This is true of Islam, Hinduism...

    The Christian Response To Crisis

That is good reason not to watch that you tuber. The bible tells us how people will be reacting, like in Noahs day they were marrying and giving in marriage. that is normal life was going on while Noah built the Ark. Normal life carried on despite his preaching. Normal life carried on even when...

Can you recommend any good children books for teaching Jesus to elementary aged kids?

If they are young I'd suggest ' Stories Jesus Told' by Mick Inkpen. They are a retelling of some of Jesus's parables, Pearl of great Price, wise & foolish builders etc, simple retold with amusing illustrations

Freedom of selection: does it really boil down to 'tolerance'?

The position of strength is that governments are legislating that lgtb views are to be supported by all. It is a very intolerant secular society. The ones being educated are those who do not supprt whole heartedly the lgtb position.

People Become Angry With God And Other People For Various Reasons, But We Still Are Not To Sin, I Think It Is Because Of Obedience.

There are two reasons for anger. Something affects us badly Something affects other people badly In the first , that anger is nearly always selfish, I'm not getting what I want so am angry. In the second it is anger at how other people are being treated. Selfish anger is always wrong and is...
