Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

You see this is a big problem the way you guys jump from one thought to the next without any Scripture. For example there's no place in the Bible that says "Only God possesses such power." The Scriptures say that God made Jesus to be both Lord and Christ. The following two verses say just the...

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

I'm not the only one and even on this Christian forum there are dozens of us.

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

I think so many of you misunderstand what I'm saying. I'm still not sure. I think you think I'm saying Christians should not read the Old Testament. Or that all people should not read the New Testament because it is not addressed to them or written concerning them. I am not saying that. I'm...

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

There is no teaching anywhere in the Christian Bible on this subject. There's only a few of you folks yelling at me that I'm blind and can't see it. There is no place in the Old or New Testament where a chapter or two is taught on this subject. You only have a few verses scattered in different...

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

There is no reason to take this verse to mean that Christ was saying that he and the Father make up "one God." The phrase was a common one, and even today if someone used it, people would know exactly what they meant... he and his Father are very much alike. When Paul wrote to the Corinthians...

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

Much of the Roman Catholic doctrine was assimilated into Protestantism and is still being passed along as Christian groups continue to split off from one another. In a nutshell that is why even the independent church in your neighborhood today most probably believes that there is a trinity, dead...

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

So I'm right. It's the Catholics you follow and you call it the true Bible.

Did Jesus raise hiself from the dead or did God yhe father raise him

1.) We don't know what God showed Moses when he mooned him. 2.) I'm not a JW or Mormon and I never was. 3.) I don't have a church and I don't know what sinless is. 4.) My Bible does not say I can be perfect. It says I cannot sin. Much of your questions can be answered if you read a few pages I...

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

You guys are Catholic. Is that what I'm dealing with? All your thoughts are Catholic. The first seventeen centuries were Catholic. Here let's run a test. How many of these Catholic doctrines do you believe... 1.) God is in control of everything that happens. 2.) The four gospels are written to...

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

I could see how Paul could say "they and not you" since he no longer saw himself as a Jew, but as a Christian.
  11. Peterlag

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

There is not a verse anywhere in the Epistles that says "Jews and Gentiles in Christ" and so I must believe you teach what cannot be found in the Scriptures.

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

So we do not agree. The doctrine you follow is the Catholic doctrine. They were the first to teach the whole Bible was written to everyone and that Jesus is God.

Did Jesus raise hiself from the dead or did God yhe father raise him

God told Moses you can't look at me because if you do it will kill you. And that causes me to believe that looking at God is lethal.

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

It's third grade grammar to understand what is written about Israel is to be understood referring to the things of Israel. What is written about Christians needs to be understood in reference to Christians. It's not rocket science.

Did Jesus raise hiself from the dead or did God yhe father raise him

I looked at all 15 verses and don't see it. You must not know where it is either or you would have given me the verse.

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

Oh good point. Let's trash all teachings from men of God. Pastors, Teachers, Prophets and all Scholars who study the Scriptures.
  17. Peterlag

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

I have no idea what you are referring to. The Bible in the Old Testament is written about Israel and must be understood in that light. The New Testament is written concerning what the Christians have. It's not rocket science and should not be that hard to understand. You can't mix the whole...

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

The contradiction is in your understanding. The (ekklēsía) of the New Covenant is not the (ekklēsía) of the Old.

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

Romans 9:3-4 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: Who are Israelites;... Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. And then the context of these chapters is all about...
