The Wolves Are Already Among Us

The wolves have been amongst us for millennia. What I have noticed is they have a passion for pointing out who they believe the wolves are. It's a classical projection!

Have you ever become VERY attracted to a fellow Christian of the opposite sex (of course) because...

Oh no, we can't have that; loving another person. Who knows, you might want to have sex with them and then it's that slippery slope religious folk harp on about; ie the road to condemnation. :IDK:

    A Challenge

Interesting! For myself, my early walk as a believer was marked by positive shifts I could easily identify. As time has gone by and my knowledge of Jesus has increased, I see the flaws in my character, and increasingly so, flaws I was oblivious to I my earlier years. What I have become conscious...

    What makes a doctrine false?

The thing is Hidden, you are so convinced your labelling is accurate that the formulation of your ideas based on that labelling is just simply inaccurate. You are not aware that the label Universalist or Universalism as it is generally understood, has no resonance with me.

    Bible Character?

It appears to me that Judas' interest in self interest overtook interest in Jesus' reality. It distorted his view.

At what point in a believers life does the rapture take place?

I would also say....read with care. The first century believers had no idea that the return of Jesus would be over 2000 yrs away. They had hoped and expected Jesus return to be in their generation.....even Paul, at the time of writing. Paul expected to be alive when Jesus returned. Later he...

At what point in a believers life does the rapture take place?

I would say Stephan is in the grave awaiting the resurrection of the dead. He will have no consciousness of the passing of time from the moment he fell 'asleep' to the moment 'when this mortal puts on immortality' 1 Corinthians 50:50-54 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and...

Question: "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them"

You don't need 50 people praying for God to hear or be there....even 2 or 3.....even 1......size is irrelevant

Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

haha Hidden, of course nobody except you has such highly developed morality. :Broadly:

The bible contains what percentage of 'ALL SCRIPTURE'? 2 Timothy 3:16

When Jesus said, '...if they have kept my words, they will keep yours' John 15:20, who do you think he was talking about Jack?

    What makes a doctrine false?

You know Hidden, I would gladly explain what you think I don't understand re Isaiah 53 however past experience with your approach has taught me not to waste my time and effort. The scripture would describe it as not throwing your pearls to swine because they will trample them underfoot then turn...

    What makes a doctrine false?

Isn't it odd Hidden that when I read your explanations I conclude you don't understand what you are talking about....even Acts 2:23 which you quote so confidently has evaded your understanding. As far as the penal substitution idea, your language sings its tune. It reminds me of Jesus as he...

    What makes a doctrine false?

You say 'that is a relief' not understanding what is meant. You speak and maintain distortions generating accusations just like Jack. My guess is you do it because you are unable to countenance a generosity displayed by God. A generosity which cuts clean across the penal substitution theories...

    What makes a doctrine false?

I doubt it. In fact what you label 'the word of God' are in fact your own deductions.

I guess you have fed the hungry, given the thirsty to drink, taken in strangers, clothed the naked and visited the sick in prison!

@David in NJ Do you really think Jesus was referencing Moses and the Prophets writing for a theology on hell? If so, I have never read anything remotely familiar.
