    the law of faith?

The rule is, if you love YHWH, you will keep His commandments (1 John 5:3).

    the law of faith?

Some people have it written in their hearts. Others refuse to allow it to be written there. They don't want anything to do with it.

    the law of faith?

The "law of faith" is not a codified law, but a principle. If you have faith in Yeshua (Jesus), then you are declared righteous (justified) by the Almighty. However, that faith must be made evident by works. Faith without works is dead (James 2:14-20). True faith takes action and does not sit...

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

   o_O And you criticize me for not appearing to be a Berean????? "Jehovah" is an IMPOSSIBILITY as God's name. The Hebrew alphabet does not have a letter "J" or a "J" sound. "Jehovah" is a false translation of "YHWH" (the Tetragrammaton). As for Exodus 6:3, several versions have...

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

An oversight. The spiritual significance is that YHWH has made the 7th day holy and we are to treat it as such by not polluting it with forbidden work such as gathering sticks (with the most likely intent to kindle a fire on the Sabbath). The rest we have in Yeshua is not a physical rest from...

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

The correct pronunciation of "Yeshua" is "Yay-shua", not "Yeh-shua". The Greek writes his name as "Iesous" which transliterates as "Yaysous". The point is, the Greek attempted to correctly transliterate the name and got the first syllable correct, but could not get the second syllable correct...

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

I already addressed your misinterpretation of these passages. I will not hop on your merry-go-round.

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

Fine. You go on with your life by not working and I'll go on with mine doing the works that I was ordained to do (Ephesians 2:10). There will come a time when I will rest from my labors, but you won't because you don't work. Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that...

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

I never said the Bible comes first. The Bible cannot be understood without the Holy Spirit and it is the Spirit that teaches and confirms the doctrines found in Scripture. It is also the Spirit that causes us to obey the law. Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit...

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

You just love to argue, even when you agree with me. Did I not just write about the Holy Spirit's guidance? Are the Holy Scriptures no longer profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16)?

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

I didn't miss anything. I stated what Paul taught; Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. When the law is broken, it provides us the knowledge that we sinned. That does not exclude the conviction of...

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

You prayerfully study the Scriptures asking for the Holy Spirit's guidance to know which view is true. You don't just attack or refute the messenger without having done those things.

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

I agree that Paul taught righteousness through faith in Messiah. He also taught us that faith does NOT make void the law (Romans 3:31). We are to obey the law, but we are not to use the law as a means to righteousness or salvation. The law gives us the knowledge of sin. Take away the law and we...

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

Every false teacher says his doctrine comes from God. How can we prove it doesn't? By showing how it contradicts Scripture.

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

Show me one post where I said I am righteous through my own works. This is just another personal attack on me to go along with all the other ones in this thread. Why do you attack me personally? Because you have no defense whatsoever for your Sabbath breaking.

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

If you equate obeying my Creator's commandments with being "religious", then you are sadly deceived. I don't shoot or condemn anyone that doesn't believe like me. I started this thread to educate, but now I am forced to defend the truth from those who would attack and condemn it as well as...

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

Almost all of the Ten Commandments can be seen in the OT prior to the Law being given to the Hebrews. For example, Joseph knew it was a sin to commit adultery with Pharaoh's wife; Sabbath existed from day seven of creation; The sons of Jacob were accused of stealing from Pharaoh's house, etc...

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

The sanctity of the Sabbath existed long before Yeshua's resurrection.

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

No, it is not right. "God", "G-d" and "G-O-D" are not names, but titles. The Almighty's name is spelled "YHWH" when the letters of the Tetragrammaton are phonetically transliterated into English. That is a normal response when something new enters one's vocabulary. However, with use and...

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

"Jesus" is the name the later English translators erroneously gave him. I wouldn't be surprised if that name gets corrupted even further if another new letter is adopted in our alphabet.
