IF your heart is first and foremost on God, then supporting physical operations of the church through tithes should be an obvious and natural thing to do. If you attitude is "Yeah I like Jesus- but don't you dare touch my money!!!" ... where is your heart and what are you truly placing first?

Scripture is the delivery vessel. God is the teacher. Christ is the greatest gift.

Your questions are rhetorical. God testifies of Truth. All Truth placed there is from God. Not the lump of paper- that’s the delivery vessel, not The Almighty God.

I'm sorry, but this strikes me very akin to praising the donkey that carried Christ into town and calling that the greatest gift. No, He is the greatest gift. Not the delivery method. This isn't downplaying the fact that scripture is super important. But God is the most important.

God is greatest above all. That includes scripture.

Free will is free. Not manipulated. And with that... I try really hard to be respectful of other people's beliefs. But this is one I frequently fail in that regard. So I don't see much point in beating what's a dead horse.
