Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Part of dealing with Evolution, is simply acknowledging, that those that believe it, need more space.

Many people don't want to carry their cross. Why ?

What if you don't carry your cross, your whole life and then you do at the end? Almost anyone would say "that was a waste", right? Learn from that Wisdom, and you will save yourself a lot of heartache!

I have a question and need prayer

Phantom pain can drive some to suicide, be careful.

If God were not God, God would be arrogant. Discuss.

Hi there, So this is as much about Witnessing, as anything else. It's about the nature of our relationship with God, but also who God is. By providing something that you can test, it will give you an answer to the doubts you have. Not everyone doubts, but some certainly do. I, for myself, have...

    Removed Thread.

It's even painful to respond to this thread! No one likes to dwell on friends they have lost!

You guys have to start praying for two things: the rapture of the faith (that it be great) and deliverance from the tribulation (that it not spread)

I have given you a choice, of what to pray - Jesus gave you a command and I have made a request: of the same thing! The rapture must be great, the tribulation must be limited. As Jesus said "pray that you be worthy to escape all these things and to stand before the Son of Man"
  7. G

Will you be caught up in the rapture or left-behind??

Yes, but when you return, the difference is that you return to "high ground". No one invites their friend to the worst place they could think of, but the best - in one sense, that is home, but more to the point it is making home somewhere great (not just where it was)

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Sometimes the best adaptation, is the one that fits where there is already room?

Truth needs truth, that's the truth. (thoughts?)

It's as if we almost expect the truth, to recreate itself? Don't you think? Like we have an internal standard "if this fact, doesn't become a greater fact: I won't believe it's true!" Somehow conversion is part of the truth (even if all you are dealing with is facts). The more you "need"...

The right to abort. The right to ask for the aborted to be adopted instead. These are the same thing!

I'm saying adoption should always be in mind. Can you fault that? Is my wanting babies to live, a problem to you?

    Can't remember the original title

If you think you can change death, you are already dead. If the people of faith did not warn you that death was coming, would you forgive them, in the afterlife?
  12. G

    Can't remember the original title

Death is an end, that you can't ignore - you need to ignore it, but you can't (ignore it).

Truth needs truth, that's the truth. (thoughts?)

I feel like you got so close to the truth, with this post. Like the process of converting knowledge to unseen truth, was somehow dependable, that is, dependable on the nature of truth. We are too clever sometimes, the truth can escape us - because we try too hard.

What authority do people have to make claims and presume to teach according to what they merely "believe?"

Most people develop some sort of talent, in what they believe. The question is, what establishes the work of God most concretely? The thing that vexes me, is developing a talent, that only justifies an evil principality and not a good one. "Whatever is of good report" focus on that!

The Jewish people had it wrong does most of the church today too?

There are simple steps, that Jesus set out, to deal with the rapture and tribulation and return. Pray, that you are worthy to escape; pray that you are worthy to stand before the Son of Man; don't try to hard to discern the time. Have you done these things? As Jesus said "if you do not discern...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

There is a difference between what you "think" Evolution is, and what you "intuit" it to be. I think it would be productive to separate out, these two distinctions. Why? Because what you intuit it to be, should take precedence over what you "think" it is. This is an exercise of reason. You...

The right to abort. The right to ask for the aborted to be adopted instead. These are the same thing!

The point is that most abortions could simply be adopted. The number of abortions where the life of the mother is at stake, is very limited. The right to adopt, doesn't apply when the mother's life is at risk, but is secondary to the mother's decision. If I was being punitive, I might say "the...

Time is up!! Jesus is returning and rapture (catching up) time is here!!

I have already addressed responding to the rapture and the tribulation. Watching is good, but praying is better - how much better then, to watch and pray!

Move in the Cloud of Witness, and pray that the Holy Spirit be able to use your words and also remind you of them (soon?)

Hi there, So just to get to the point: Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would "teach all things to you and bring to remembrance all the things that I said". We need to move in response to the Holy Spirit, concerning these things. We should be praying "Lord use my words for the Holy Spirit, and...
