    Where does consciousness reside?

I clipped my toe nails the other day, spat some saliva, trimmed my beard and blew my nose, now I'm only part of the man I used to be!

    Be like little children

Tell me more about the attributes of little children which Jesus draws our attention to? I wonder why he didn't direct our attention to the learned, the studied and those with bold confidence in exegeting the scriptures?

Is God Magnanimous? - (as opposed to tyrannical)

Do you think God wants servants or friends?

God's 'bossness' so to speak is not the superimposition that man project onto him. It is the superimposition, the one which many falsely claim is the real deal, which makes me bristle. Even in the face of his incarnation, his sojourn, his submission to being murdered and his resurrection, he is...

    Home as Ministry

My home making skills are improving. -I sweep the floor -wash the clothes -hang the clothes out to dry -bring the clothes in -fold the clothes -clean the ablution facilities -do the shopping -make the meals -eat the meals -make the bed -mow the lawn -do the gardening -repair the machinery...

    Hmmmm, what to do today

Another option is to visit the 'Babylonian' quarter and share with them that their sins are forgiven?

Humility is a quality that doesn't speak of itself. When it does, it becomes questionable as being humility.....particularly when it is measured as 'enough humility'. Humility is like pregnancy; you either are or you aren't. Speaking of one's own humility is nothing short of ego off the rails.

It is interesting you presume so much about my judgements when I haven't even commented on the Genesis 15 story of Abraham you introduced from left field, into the discussion. .....but this is your style Hidden. You introduce a text with the assumption you can divert from the subject at hand. I...

I don't believe God sends deceiving or lying spirits even though the scripture says he did. 1 Kings 22:21-23 Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the Lord and said, ‘I will entice him.’ “‘By what means?’ the Lord asked. “‘I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his...

Acts 7:51 “You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit!

Assuming argument (that which you call engagement) is the path to righteousness, only leaves one with a head full of pride, empty pockets and a heart which hates.

All I can say Hidden, there are questions you have not asked or do not want to ask and assumptions born from what you refuse to understand. It births accusations which propel you to 'travelling land and sea to make a single convert.......'. However, persuasion is not brought about by arms being...

Jack, I have laboured with your insistence on misrepresentations and left field statements for a good while now. The relentless senseless repetition you engage on this matter has clinched the decision to leave you to them.

Yes, I'm aware the scripture has these texts. The question I ask myself is, who is it that holds the trump card on how I am to perceive God's nature/ character?. The deciding factor is what the voice from the cloud on the Mt of Transfiguration told Peter, James and John. Here they were, Jesus...
