    A question for mormons.

I'm going to be very blunt here: You don't care about me or what I believe. You continually de-humanize me. You don't ask question to listen and instead fear getting your facts straight. I am under no obligation to converse with somebody who treats me so poorly. Your phobia is your problem...

    A question for mormons.

justbyfaith, everything you're saying here is just you repeating the bad information you read out of a and fear & hate-filled "anti-cult" book. Meanwhile I've actually thoroughly investigated all of these sources, attended services, attended at the temple, studied other faiths, and of course...

    A question for mormons.

justbyfaith, what you think "Mormonism" is a COMPLETELY different thing than the actual beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You can pray to "save" people from what you in your head think people believe all day long. It makes no difference as to actual beliefs.

    A question for mormons.

justbyfaith, you have decided in your head that this "Jane" person believes X and is damned. I don't believe this X --- it just doesn't fact check. And that seemingly doesn't matter to you, and you seemingly fear listening. Therefore, you aren't praying for me, you're praying for this imaginary...

    A question for mormons.

Asking questions is totally fine. Seeking knowledge is the seeds of wisdom. Ignoring the answers is always stupidity.

    A question for mormons.

justbyfaith, if it fulfills your sense of self-riotousness you of course can pray for this imaginary person. YOu can fear morgrol that imiginary person and yourself all day long. Such has nothing to do with me at all. I"m going to keep following my Savior Jesus Christ, and rejoicing in Him.

    A question for mormons.

You certainly can pray for this imaginary person whom has nothing to do with me.

    A question for mormons.

Well, if you have no actual motivations to listen to me, you might as well be praying about an imaginary person with imaginary beliefs. I'll go do something that actually involves me.

    A question for mormons.

It's the result of fear & poor quality faith development on the hater's part. It's MUCH easier to spread bad information and keep people controlled via fear-mongrolling, rather than the higher road of seeing others as still being people with some same and some different beliefs. *rolls eyes...

    A question for mormons.

That's bald-faced lie #72 from the hate-filled anti-Mormon pool. @justbyfaith, you need much better sources / people whom are actually interested in truth (that cesspool is not). Don't waste your time or my time or anyone else's with that junk.

    Where does religion fit in?

Faith / religion fits in: teaching people how to b the best they possibly can be. To encourage healthy relationships, honesty, productivity, etc. This (or should be) one of the goals for every faith. Obviously Christians believe that the Christian path is the best of all these, but I...

    Truth is not relative

This is pretty much the definition of the Catholic argument.

    Truth is not relative

Did you convert to Catholicism? Because this is the Catholic argument: it's not up to an individual to interpret scripture, but God's appointed Church. And when person's A "instinct" conflicts with person B's.... battle of the egos, no True Scotsman, claiming that the other does not have the...

    Truth is not relative

Here's a foundational issue with Protestantism and "sola scriptura": every person can firmly believe that their personal understanding of scripture is correct, and when there are conflicts between them, there is zero way to reconcile and it turns into a godless battle of egos. By all means, a...

    A question for mormons.

That's not the actions being done or referred to on this thread. @aspen, if you were to come to an LDS Christian site, you would be welcomed with open arms as a sibling in Christ. The LDS Christian sites I'm on have regular non-LDS folks whom are moderators and regular posters. LDS Christian...

    A question for mormons.

justbyfiath, I respect your beliefs, even those I disagreed with. I have made that abundantly clear, and worked to 5 extra miles with you & be patient even amongst all of your accusations. I have not once persecuted you for your beliefs, and take great offense at your statement. I do not feel...

    A question for mormons.

This thread is not that (if such a thing even exisits). A persecutor will never "save" anyone, rather people will naturally flee from them and the things they proclaim (via words or deeds). For a servant of Christ, the focus should be on humility, love, and service. Showing His goodness...

    A question for mormons.

justbyfaith persecuting another is always wrong and hateful. There's no excuses for it. A persecutor will never "save" anyone, rather people will naturally flee from them and the things they proclaim (via words or deeds). For a servant of Christ, the focus should be on humility, love, and...
