    Is this good for Christianity?

@Justadude : you see how different mine and Paul's beliefs & approaches are? Both Christians (believing in Christ) but radically different approaches to things.

Is my salvation based upon my knowledge of the Trinity?

You stay on the right path too :) Don't fall into any of those traps with people adding requirements to get into Heaven (including theology tests)

    Is this good for Christianity?

I don't see any conflict between science and the Bible. Rather it's two different tellings of the same events, each addressing very different aspect in a very different manner.

Is my salvation based upon my knowledge of the Trinity?

OzSpen, there are some folks out there that proclaim salvation is dependent on man's ability to get a passing grade on some theology test. These proclaimers won't phrase it that way, but that's ultimately what their argument comes down to. While I respect those individuals right to believe...

    Is this good for Christianity?

My bad! Apologies, I shall try to be better in the future. I totally acknowledge that. Obviously my views do differ.

Is my salvation based upon my knowledge of the Trinity?

A person's salvation comes from Christ. Not their ability to pass a theology test.

Is my salvation based upon my knowledge of the Trinity?

You're mixing up two things here: 1) What is True. 2) What is required for salvation. A man's salvation is not dependent on his ability to answer a theology quiz, but rather his devotion to God.

Is my salvation based upon my knowledge of the Trinity?

Thank you for answering and for sharing your story. Theology is super important. But it is embracing Jesus Christ that makes any person a Christian. Not their ability to A+ a theology test. A person whom doesn't understand much theology is just as much a Christian as those that could get a...

Is my salvation based upon my knowledge of the Trinity?

Know that the Father is good - yes. Know that they (the child) can trust Him, yes. Those basic characteristics, yes. Academic ontological stuff: no. That's not needed for trust.

Is my salvation based upon my knowledge of the Trinity?

I was actually curious as to your answer to this question to @OzSpen and meant to tag you in it (then admittedly forgot to do so). Still curious as to @Joseph77 's answer too.

Is my salvation based upon my knowledge of the Trinity?

Here, let's run through an example: "Bob" loves the Bible & God & Christ. He devotes his life to Christ, believes He is the divine Son of God, loving Him, studying scriptures, submitting to Him, and striving to follow His ways. Also acknowledging & loving God the Father and God the Holy...

Is my salvation based upon my knowledge of the Trinity?

Trust and knowledge of are two different things. A child's love & trust of their Father can indeed be very pure & strong, even if their understanding of them is limited.

Is my salvation based upon my knowledge of the Trinity?

No. Theology is super important. But It’s not what saves. Christ and a relationship with Him saves.

Hidden Agenda: everyone ignored deaths from flu but not COVID-19

The flu deaths are tragic, but they are an excepted tragic, to which we do have vaccines, understand treatments, medical systems set up, etc. That is not the case with COVID. Obviously, panicking is not productive. But taken reasonable health safety measures (for individuals and society)...

If Catholics Are Christians Why They Persecute And Kill Christians And Burn Their Bibles???

I know you didn't author this yourself @Illuminator , but this "Mormon" will respond anyways. Illuminator: you are my brother/sister in Christ. There are difference between our beliefs and we have strong opinions about it, but that doesn't change the foundational fact that you are my Christian...

Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!

I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. Doctrine is super important yes. But it is not what saves (Christ is). There isn't some multiple choice theology test that a person needs to get a passing grade on before they can earn their way to Heaven. Rather, salvation is about accepting...

Doctrine is super important. But it's not what saves us: that's Christ.
